Went in to have the interior of my 4Runner cleaned. The guys exceeded my expectations for the price, so I went home and returned with my Tacoma and had the same results. If you want a full show room detail, you have to pay for it. The interior detail was only $45 per vehicle. If you order a wash and interior vacuum, that's what you're going to get, not a 'new off the lot clean car'. Stop being a cheap ass, if you want the job done right they can do it. No, they aren't any more expensive than any other place around. It also helps to be personable when you speak to the employees. If you are polite as they are, you will probably be very satisfied with the service. read more

I came in a few months ago to purchase a gift card for my husband who loves having his car clean. He redeemed today, and needless to say, we did not have a good experience. The young men working here ( poor guys in the heat ) seem nice enough. We came at around 2, and were the only folks here. We purchased the Gold package, which is one of the more expensive options. For the most part, the car was very clean. The tires, however, were still really dirty and had marks all over them from whatever supplies they used . All of that can be looked over, since the young men were quick to fix the issue when we went back, but my main "ugh, really?" Is the customer service inside. Zero smile, zero enthusiasm. I felt like the gal thought I was giving her a root canal. Anyhoo, I hope this was just everyone having a bad day. I love my town and will continue to support local businesses . read more

07/13/2020 On April 21st I took my car to Lost Pines for an oil change. During that I felt sick so I told the attendant I was going to get something to drink from Walgreens next door. He asked that I buy him a whiskey and then stated he was joking. I went to Walgreens and purchased two kind bars and some tea. I was gone maybe 20 minutes. When I got back I was told my car was ready. I went to clerk and paid, who said nothing to me about my services. I got in my car and went straight home because I suffer from a chronic illness. My intent was to come back to speak with a manager the next morning. The next morning I drove my car approximately five miles before the oil light came on. I pulled over to a gas station and discovered my vehicle was void of oil. The oil filter had sprayed oil all over the inside of the inside of the radiator and all over the engine. I put more oil in it and took it back home. While parked in the drive way the motor ceased and I was unable to move the car. Shortly after, I became sick and wasn't able to reach out to anyone. When I contacted the operations manager, James M*******, he explained that after market oil filters would cause such damage and stated he would have it tested. When the oil filter test came back he stated that it was the motors fault and that Lost Pines would not claim responsibility. I've asked for meeting several times with the owner of the establishment have yet to hear from him related to the situation. I sent an email directly to the owner and it was intercepted by James M*******, who tells me that the owner won't be available for a week. I sent an email requesting to speak with him and the owner on Wednesday of July 15th at 4:00pm. He has not confirmed a time for me to speak directly to the owner. I wasn't asked about the oil filter I wanted or the oil. No one spoke to me about my services and I was rushed through. I wasn't treated with any level of respect, all while trying to deal with my illness. The loss I've suffered includes my income because I was dependent on a car Lost Pines broke. Had I'd taken my car to *******, I'd still have a car. I keep asking to speak to owner but James keep intercepting my messages. I've asked on four different occasions. read more

My spouse and I took our black Audi RS5 in for a thorough detail recently. The manager himself took time to make sure our car was done to the best of his abilities, as we are exceedingly particular about our black vehicles. He took the time to polish, clay bar, wax the entire vehicle, and did special treatments on all vents/floor mats. Foster (manager) went to great lengths to remove any contaminants or anomalies on the paint. We are very pleased with the service provided and will certainly return/recommend. read more

So a little back story before I justify my 1 star review. I bought a brand new 2015 Jeep Renegade for my wife about a week or two ago as her Christmas present. (late I know) - BRAND NEW as in off the lot with absolutely no mileage from Benny Boyd. NEW That being said, It was dusty from our dirt road leading to our home. I told her to take it into town and get it washed. She did. Brought it to Lost Pines. Mistake #1. She brings it to my job to show me how nice and clean it was. It wasn't as clean as she thought. There were parts of it that were still dirty by the door rails. The mirrors still had her and dust around the edges. THE MIRRORS.... Specifically the driver side mirror, was scratched... And not lightly. I mean it looks like someone dragged a rock or something across the dead center of the mirror. I will try and post an image. There are water spots all over the place. Well I call the "car wash" (and I'm throwing that set of words around where they shouldn't be used) and informed the lady who answered the phone of this and she said she'd get the manager. Some kid answers the phone and IMMEDIATELY starts telling me (after I explain what happened and what can be done about it) that "if this was true, then the card before her would be scratched in the same exact spot. But they aren't because the brushes we use are soft foam brushes. I am telling you verbatim what the OWNER would say. Unless you can prove that it wasn't there BEFORE bringing it in, then... Sorry. " OF Course I get upset and tell him that I wasn't planning on having to take before and after images of my BRAND NEW CAR. He keeps on about how that couldn't possibly happen here. I then asked him to give me a number I can call to get a hold of the owners and he says that he doesn't have a number he can give me because the only number he has for the owners is a personal number that he uses when situations like this happen (must happen more often than anywhere else by looking at these reviews.) so he can "address them". So of course, he says, "well I have an email address I can give you so you can send him your information and he can give you a call" I say no because I know how that works. They never call back. Never. So I persist in speaking to the OWNER and he finally "caves" and says "ok well what's your number and name and I'll have him call you. I give him my info and tell him to have him call me within the next 30 mins. This is at 5:45pm on a Friday. It is now Monday and I never received a call. I was going to go up there but I'd rather not. I tried to like this place even after seeing the reviews. I did. But as an avid person to help out the little guy and shop locally, H20 will be getting our business from now on for this type of deal. I will make sure to let anyone and everyone i know to not use this carwash.. If you can call it that. And don't even get me started on my 2012 Jeep Wrangled Sport that I paid $40 to get washed there and had to redo it at my house. I'm still waiting on that phone call that will never come. read more

I had gone to this place last year to have my car washed and they did a crap job for a VERY high price..vehicle was still dirty when they were done. I would never have my car washed there again. Two days ago I took my motorcycle there to get an inspection done. There was one bay working, a half dozen people waiting to get inspected, and workers milling around doing little. When a car was completed and was pulled out, it took them 10 minutes to bring another car in. (Main Lane is MUCH faster and friendlier). After a half hour of waiting with my motorcycle about 15 feet away from their outdoor waiting area, some moron coming from the car wash backed his huge truck into and onto my motorcycle, causing THOUSANDS of dollars of damage. The ENTIRE time of waiting for police, calling insurance, etc, all the workers stood there, gaping at the incident, thumbs up their asses. They didn't want to help me get the bike upright, nor did they speak a single word to me. They couldn't give a crap about working OR what their customer was dealing with on their property. When I went back in to get my keys back, they handed them back and did t say a single word. I tried to ride the bike home, but ultimately had to tow it. I made an appointment at Lost Pines on a Monday/Tuesday for a Friday 8:00 am detail for my 75 year old mom. I asked a lot of questions about price and time and the lady answered me. I made sure it was scheduled because I knew my 75 year old mom was going to have to drive 30 miles to get there The lady told me to have her get there at 7:50am for the estimate and detail and she would be done before noon. At 75 years of age, she makes the 30 minute drive Friday, shows up at 7:50 and is told she is not on the books. And to top it all off the guy just kept saying my the manager/ "head detailer" is not there either. A full slate of detail work on the book and you are late? The guy on the phone couldn't or wouldn't help me and said the "head detailer" gets there when he wants to. What kind of garbage is that when you have folks on your books waiting for you? My mom recognized one of the ladies waiting as one of her former dental hygienist patients so she talked with her. We get the run around and my 75 year old mom is sent packing. Do you think I would have my 75 year old mom drive 30 minutes to your place if we didn't make an appointment? I'm in DFW trying to help my mom from afar and this is how this business is run? What a waste. Avoid like the plague! read more

Very very unpleased with the carwash. Dropped off my truck for 3 hours I wanted a full wash! When I picked it up I noticed all that had not been cleaned. I would consider it a very sloppy job! When I told the guys about it they new it was bad by the face they gave by looking at it! They offered to wash it again but no longer had time for that I had to take as is! Will not return to their business if they think a sloppy job is acceptable! Would not recommend to anyone at all! It all started when I went to Jiffy Lube because they did my last oil change and my truck was still leaking. They said my main seal was leaking and were unable to fix it, so I came here. Thank God I did!!!! When I got there Kollin was on duty and ran a diagnostic and discovered so many issues...... First thing that made me sick to my stomach was Jiffy Lube did not replace the oil filter...... since 2021!!! And I've had THREE oil changes from them. Second Jiffy Lube told me my main seal was leaking, and that they couldn't fix it. To that Kollin discovered that was a bald face LIE and that it wasn't leaking at all. So why was my truck leaking? Jiffy Lube never cleaned out their mess and it was left over GUCK! And it got all over my drive way......The fourth thing Kollin discovered was they didn't flush out the can they use for new oil. He explained this is like drinking milk from a cartridge, leaving a little bit milk at the bottom, buying more milk, then pouring the new milk into the old cartridge, and then drinking it!!! GROSS!!! Jiffy Lube is the worst. My husband and I are very happy with the work Kollin did, and guess what..... My truck doesn't leak anymore. Today I can begin the process of cleaning up my drive way while knowing it's safe to do so. Thank God for this place! I will never go anywhere else! read more

I asked for a FULL AUTO DETAIL, inside and out, they quoted me $200.00, BUT, they only washed the outside, didn't even WAX the exterior!! I have had my car detailed MANY times, so I KNOW what a DETAIL job should be and it consists of buffing out light scratches and waxing the exterior, plus treating all the leather and dashboards, carpets cleaned, and engine cleaning!!! They did a great job on the inside, but that should have only cost us $100.00!! read more

I took my car to the car wash on Saturday and was very unhappy with the quality of the car wash I received. They have changed the way they price their car washes, I was charged $20 to have the interior of my car vacuumed, wiped down and to have the outside of the car toweled dried and the windows cleaned. The inside of my car was still dirty and they did not clean the inside of the windows. On top of the $20 to have what most car washes include in the cost of the car wash, I paid $12 for the actual car wash. The wash is "fair" at best and they take FOREVER to wash the car. (They are the slowest people I have ever seen - one guy takes 25 minutes to wipe a car down). I got a detail and I was told car will be ready around 3, I called at 5, still not ready (which was not a problem) they said we close at 6 so it'll be ready by 5:50...Great I figure, get dropped off at 5:50 to pick up and at 6:30 they tell me another 20 minutes and it only looks "ok" I paid $225 for a full detail on my Mercedes ml350, the service was worth about $50. I've been here 4x now and each time I get SLOW service. Never again, I'd rather wash it myself and I haven't washed a car in 20 years. Avoid at all costs. Had to drive home with the windows completely open and it still smells terrible. Also left lots of spots on my touch screen and console. Excuse was they didn't want to break the screen. Just came back from Lost Pines Car Wash and was really disappointed that they did not wipe down my interior surface. I paid for the car wash, Leather conditioning and carpet shampooing. About $120 worth of work. First thing I notice is that my trunk wasn't vacuumed. I drove back and asked them to do it. They said they don't open trunks. I wanted my trunk carpet shampooed when I bought the service, but fair enough, I did not read the fine print and was OK with a quick vacuum. I finished wiping down my interior at home and discovered they broke the cover hinge for my center armrest. I meticulously removed all of my pencils and pens from the center arm rest before going to Lost Pines and knew that the hinge was fine. As I wiped the arm rest, the whole cover slid off and inside was a snapped off hinge piece. I'm rating this service as 3 stars for now and preparing to go back in a few minutes to see how they resolve this issue. UPDATE: Came back a minute ago and a manager named Mike, took my complaint professionally and without question. He plans to order a new lid and call me when it arrives. Upping them to 4 stars RESOLUTION: True to their word they got the new lid. read more

DON'T DO IT! I just returned from Lost Pines Car Wash.....with a dirty water spotted 2011 F150. We complained about the water spotting and were told that it was because of the rain yesterday. Hmmm? Not sure how it raining yesterday screwed up the wash you just did on my truck? They were also unwilling to rewash the vehicle or to give a refund. As the lady told me "Well, you only purchased the $25 wash. We don't do Miracles with cars.". Apparently you don't dry them correctly after they are washed either. And for $26 I expect my vehicle to be clean. I could have received the same level of clean from driving thru the $6 wash at the Shell. I can assure you no one in my family will ever take another vehicle to your establishment for any service. Thanks for taking my $26 and giving no viable service in return. They made me wait on her car interior to be cleaned before they sent my truck through the car wash... Over 30 minutes just to get my truck washed with 10+ staff running around. I will never take my car here again. I had my car inspected here last year and everything was fine. This year it failed. Mind you nothing has been done do the vehicle whatsoever. When I asked why it passed at this very location last year the guy said " well I didn't do the inspection last year". I own a taxi and limo service in bastrop (safe ride) & I come here all the time. I am always always and pressed with the amount of effort that they are willing to put in on getting rid of all my bugs . and most of all I'm impressed with our loop center because I have a BMW and a lot of people in town don't want to mess with it and are afraid not only did they take good care of me but they went above and beyond with other things that I later found out that they did for me Anwar humble enough to not even mention it I really do appreciate these guys read more

Not very impressed with the service here. Took almost an hour to get full service wash. They were "short staffed". But they still missed the bugs on the front of the vehicle and the vacuum job wasn't very good. I would have been better off to drive to Austin and get a wash there and drive back. I drove from Lockhart to the carwash arriving at 1:00 PM. Directly ahead of me was a silver Yukon. At 2:15 PM I asked about my car since the silver Yukon had driven away and I should have been next. I was told by one of the young man that the boss had told him to expedite the Yukon. At 2:36 PM my car still wasn't done and I told the kind receptionist that I had to leave. My car wasn't close to being done. Now I am 76 and I was tired of waiting. I was told that I could come back and they wouldn't charge me the $40.00 again.
