I drove from Lockhart to the carwash arriving at 1:00 PM. Directly ahead of me was a silver Yukon. At 2:15 PM I asked about my car since the silver Yukon had driven away and I should have been next. I was told by one of the young man that the boss had told him to expedite the Yukon. At 2:36 PM my car still wasn't done and I told the kind receptionist that I had to leave. My car wasn't close to being done. Now I am 76 and I was tired of waiting. I was told that I could come back and they wouldn't charge me the $40.00 again. Really, I don't think I will make that long drive. Just chalk it up to lessons learned and places I won't go to again. read more

Went to Lost Pines for two cars to be inspected, washed and interior cleaning on two occasions. Got one vehicle washed for free, and the other at a reduced price. The whole staff was professional, and I had a great experience. I like to support the local economy, and I will be back. read more

Highly recommend for oil changes and routine maintenance. Best place in town as far as I am concerned. The staff are always super nice, honest, and conscientious. Great and consistent customer service every time. They have serviced and detailed my Audi, 4-Runner and Tundra. I finally ditched my Audi as it requires more maintenance than my Toyota's! Took my wife's car in for inspection and an oil change. No problems with the car when taken in just needed oil change and yearly inspection. All went well until the car was returned and driven. After driving for a short time the car leaked all the engine oil due to a crack in the oil filter housing. Towed the car to the dealership and found that the oil filter was over tightened causing the base to crack. Car leaked all the oil out. Called lost pines and explained the problem with the oil leaking out. Was told I could bring the car back even though it was out of oil and they would look at it. Under the circumstances and that they were the last to touch the engine I decided to have the car towed to the dealership for a complete examination. They found the problem and repaired it and added oil. Called lost pines as I had the paper work from dealership identifying the problem and cause. Lost Pines full service refused to pay for the replacement part and 6 quarts of new oil. I thought this was a reputable business but obviously not. I would not recommend this business for any work needed for your car. They don't stand behind their work. Take your vehicle at your own risk. Not a reputable company. None of our vehicles will go back there. I suggest the same for you. read more

Feb 17- So. I came back with my husbands truck. I heard the employee say it was new management. They had one staff that was overseeing the others. He worked and watched the other staff and watched to make sure the quality was there. He made sure they were doing a good job. He really cared about customer service. His work ethics has encouraged me to come back. - my past review - There seems to be a lack of good car washes in this area. This is no exception. I was surprised there was only two choices for the wash. 15.95 or $35. Since I read bad reviews I got the $15. The car was done in about 30 minutes with a car in front of me. The car was wiped inside, carpet done, all okay except the inside windows were not wiped. The cup holders were wiped but not 100 percent. read more

Just got my Yukon washed here and it was awful. We were told that it would be 20 minutes and an hour and a half later the job was not finished. I paid for the Best wash. Not only was it not vacuumed out, the running boards were still filthy, the back glass was filthy and the door jambs were not wiped. I will not be returning. read more

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here. I will say that the car wash has been hit or miss in the past, but I've never had anything but amazing service from the service department where they do the oil changes. And they must be doing something right because they are always slammed!!! With that said, I wish they took appointments and I wish they had more staff. I've taken my car there twice and both times it was cleaned to perfection. And this last time was in 104 degree heat. It's not cheap, for sure, but it was done right both times. I had spilled a giant cup of orange juice all over the front passenger seat of my car. It was there for several weeks (laziness) and they cleaned it to brand new. I have been to lost pines three times trying to get my car inspected. The first two times the tech told me he had to go to lunch. Ok so I asked what time they closed. He said 6 but we can stop taking inspections at any time. OK so I went back today got there at 4 pm and the same tech told me, he was done taking inspections today. I said but it's only 4 and he said well I am done for the day. I told him this was my 3rd time stopping by which he had no reply and just walked away. Being in the customer service field and working at a shop, if a customer comes in at 5:59 we stay and take care of them. He didn't offer another solution just walked away. Not only will I don't go there for oil changes but will not be going for a car wash either. Thank God for Main Lane as they inspected my car in 20 mintues. read more

Oh, God... I went back. Had no choice. First? They sold me a package I didn't ask for - upgraded without my permission. I go inside and the old woman at the counter - just as cheerful and customer-service oriented as a knob on a door... told me how much it was. I told her I got the other package that was a certain price. She said no it wasn't, then pointed to a flyer on the counter. I pointed out that the price was what I said it was and she was like, "Oh! I didn't see that they'd changed it!' - then I had to pay for what should be free - vacuuming. Hello? Nice scam, guys. I told the guy wiping down the car (they missed a spot on the windshield - a big one. Couldn't see it?) Oh, and before I mention this, I should tell you that when I got back into my car, the AC was on full blast, the radio on full blast and the seats were pushed all the way to the front (I have long legs and one is intensely bruised at the moment, which made switching the seat back very difficult). Anyway, I said, "Here's a tip, but please don't give the bitch inside any of it..." and explained what had happened." "That is my Grandmother!'" he said. "You guys have a problem - you need to coordinate on your pricing because she didn't get it and I said I wanted the first package." "Well, that's the problem of the intake guy writing it down wrong." Don't go here. I went on a Thursday after work to get the Tight Wad Tuesday/Thursday car wash. When I got out of my car and told the male employee what wash I wanted, he responded with a remark along the lines of "I'll give you a tight wad all day long". I nearly left right then and there. I was so uncomfortable. Out of stubbornness, I stayed and got the car wash. The outside of the car was cleaned just ok, they did a terrible job of wiping my car down and I had water stains everywhere. It didn't even look like they had touched the inside of my car. I knew they had because they had left all my car mats carelessly flipped upside down. It looked like they had just been thrown in the car. I am writing this review as I am sitting here waiting for my car to get the $19.95 basic wash. There were 3 cars ahead of me and I have been here over 40 mins. It took over 20 just to start the wash process. Now I am waiting for them to START wiping down the inside. When I asked the lady at the counter how long a basic wash should take, she got snotty and said if they weren't fast enough that I should have gone somewhere else. Wish I could give 0 stars But do NOT to come here. It cost us $178, 5 hours wait(when told 2), and we still got a dirty car. We arrived at 11:30 this morning to get a full detail on our car. When we dropped it off we asked how long will it take, the man there said 1 1/2-2 hours and it would cost $178. So we went in to pay and wait. 2 1/2 hours later I went to the front and asked how much longer. I was then told it would take another 2 hours and they haven't started yet. The lady who told us that said the man told her that he did not tell us a timeframe. Which was a complete lie. We got a ride home from a friend and came back 2 hours later. Well it was still not finished. Another 30 minutes and they finally brought it out. The hood was still dirty and they claimed that you have to pay more to get it buffed out amd waxed and they couldn't get it clean(we were able to scratch it off with our nails when we got home). We then opened the trunk, it was still dirty as well. They then told us you had to specifically ask about getting the trunk vacuumed. We never got to speak to a manager or anyone who was in charge. I can guarantee we won't be going back and it is a way better idea to drive somewhere in Austin then to pay $178, wait 5 hrs and still get a dirty car. read more

Overall I was pleased with the job they did, however, I was in with my 6 month old and was quoted a time of 30 minutes. They finished 3 cars ahead of me that got there after me. When I asked the guy working he said because I have rims (what?) and it's busy. They lady inside didn't seem to care either. I just didn't think that was fair. read more

Shameful and soooo frustrating. I work overnights, they were the first shop open near my house, and I desperately needed an inspection. I got there at 7 and didn't mind waiting til 8 when they opened just so I didn't have to drive more in my exhausted state. About 7:45 another car pulls in, parks near me, and proceeds to wait. When the employees arrive shortly after 8 and one strolls out to the parking area, he hoots out and asks who got there first? Well the lady starts waving wildly at the guy before I can even get words out. So I wait longer...they finally take my car back, have me in the waiting room, call me up to the desk after about 20 minutes, take my payment, and the instant the guy hands me my receipt, informs me that my car failed. When I asked why, they took me out to the shop and pointed at oil splattered (old car, leaky engine seals) under the power steering reserve, told me I could "wipe it off, come back, and then they'd pass me". Who has time for this crap? Drove away about 9:45, said goodbye to the money and time I wasted here that morning, and got my inspection elsewhere. read more

I don't get what all the bad reviews are about. What a bunch of bratty whiners. I waited a long time for a full service, all the bells and whistles, interior and exterior wash...but it takes a long time to clean a truck in and out, period the end. If you have someone else do it for you, well, they don't have a magic wand and can't do it in 15 minutes! They did an excellent job, offer a nice facility to sit and relax, are near other stores so you can wander off, have free coffee and a little store inside, rocking chairs..this place is pretty nice...AANNDD I almost paid $130 for JUST the interior in Round Rock, but thought they were snobs at the Mister Car Wash in RR, so I left. I paid $100 for a terrific wash that made my dirty disgusting truck look like new again. These guys work hard, care, even checked my fluids for me and thanked me like 3 times. Had an inspection for registration this afternoon and am thoroughly pleased to know this business is here in Bastrop. I had been driving into Austin to a dealership for oil changes and last years inspection. I appreciate the gentleman named Mike who showed me the condition of the in cabin air filter instead of just recommending it's change. He also provided the condition of the oil and brake fluid against a comparison chart to show me where my vehicle is as far as not needing those fluids changed. There have been many times vehicle service centers see a woman coming and try to add on every possible unnecessary charge because they can maybe get away with it. This was not my experience here and I thank you for this! Educate as to why something needs to be done to a vehicle and let the customer choose the service Thank you Mike! read more

My boyfriend took my car here for me while I was at work trying to be nice, only to leave with paint missing from my car. The "manager" David told him we would be getting a refund that following Monday, almost two weeks later we still had not heard anything from them. I had to call 4 times to even talk to a manager. They absolutely refuse to give us our $25 refund, but want to give us a $50 credit, as if I'd ever take my car back there. They also tried to say I must have been in an accident, which I have not been. The worst customer service ever, David the "manager,"tried to make it about himself and tried to get me to drop it when I talked to him. Very unprofessional, everyone I talk to says they have a bad experience here too. I definitely don't recommend. Had they followed up with me and given the refund like the "manager" said he would, I wouldn't be so mad. Apparently he can't even keep his word either after taking paint off my car!!! I am here now at the car wash. My car was second in line. It has now been 40 minutes and it still has not been washed. This is my third time here and the results are always the same. There are problems with how to manage this production line and also in staffing. It is a sunny Saturday with no rain in sight. How could you not properly staff for this operation. And for the amount that you pay, it is WAY over priced. The quality of service has never been better than a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. You should expect a sloppy inside cleaning with many missed obvious spots. Asking for it to be corrected is a waist of time. I fully expect that the total time to get my car washed will be close to 75 minutes. Best thing to do is to drop it off and have a friend pick you up and pick it back up the next day. Better yet... They didn't clean the dash or center console. Left wrappers, crumbs, and stuck on candy. I have two kids. Couldn't get oil change, inspection, or tires done b/c the system was down next door. My windows and steering wheel were the cleanest I've ever seen them. Unfortunately, that was the only clean part of my truck after paying $40 for an upgrade package. Dirty cup holders, door compartments and carpet. Front of truck looked like it didn't even get washed. Went home and worked on my truck for 20 minutes getting all the obvious things they missed. Although I went on a somewhat busy day to get my car washed, it took forever. I paid for the $35.00 wash expecting to be very clean inside and out. After watching multiple vehicles come through that had come in after me and an hour and a half later I finally get my truck back. They had not even wiped down the dash or console. The seats were not vacuumed and there were water and soap spots all over truck. They did not even lift windshield wipers to clean the whole windshield. It was a complete waste of time and money. This by far worst experience I've ever had getting my car washed. I was told it would take no more then 1.5 hours. I was there for 3! Then I get in my car and it's still dirty, my black leather seats had foot prints all over them. The windows still had bird poop on the outside. They were the worst!!!!
