WOW. Where do I begin, the story starts with me being a free diver and living in Hawaii. I started last year and wanted to upgrade to DiveR fins in carbon fiber for more performance in the water and also my gateway into spearfishing. These guys have received multiple phone calls and text messages from me and every single staff member that has answered the phone has been excellent. I never leave reviews on anything simply because I forget quickly about a good experience however, I had to leave this shop a review due to the phenomenal service they have provided me while also wanting to help support this kind of customer service. I could have gone to a local shop here in Hawaii which there are plenty to choose from but every time I tried to go to a different shop I was greeted with rude and unprofessional attitudes and personalities on top of getting robbed with their high mark ups and then beg you to support them. Long story short The Lost Winds shop has helped me every step of the way and they gave me the best price and deals every time, I am truly jealous I don't have them around but at least they ship for free! Not to mention they always ship my stuff the same day and literally get to Hawaii no less than 3 days, they are awesome!!

Amazing gear for surfing and diving! Has a variety of products to choose from on top of surf and dive gear, such as hydro flask, sunscreen, socks, sunglasses, etc. Eric Martin is the owner and he is knowledgeable and helpful. He goes above and beyond to make sure you get award winning service. I recommend stopping by this local dive shop that has everything your heart desires if you love exploring the ocean.

This camp site isn't the best but it is what you make it. Just to be clear I really enjoy coming…read morehere with my friends, family and child. The reason for 3 stars you'll find below.. I do an annual camping trip here with friends and family and we roll deep. 25+ people 4-6 sites together and plenty of room to get all of us nice and cozy. The camp site is close to the highway and train tracks so if you're a light sleeper bring those ear plugs. Each site is also very close to each other, so if you're use to camping with more privacy just know that the other party next to you is at least covid distance away but still close enough you'll hear their music blasting and when they leave and come back. There is plumping here so it's not just portapotty style bathrooms. It is still nasty AF and smells like stale piss but at least it flushes. The showers usually have bees around which don't bother you when you have the water running but in case you are allergic bring an EpiPen. Also, bring your own soap to wash your hands and don't leave it at the sink because savages will steal it (from experience) The walk to the beach is pretty long my son never makes it on his own and it is steep at some parts. So bring snacks and drinks so you don't have to go back and fourth... The beach itself is very rocky... the picture I provided is what is all over the beach Def not kid or feet friendly. Bring some shade as well. From my understanding this is a surfer beach so there are a lot of surfers. the water is Rough and the undertow is strong so hold your little ones hands they'll get swept away. There is someone who drives around in the morning making sure the extra cars are paid for and being bundles of wood if you want to buy($10) I will be coming back next year. I believe we will be doing the huge family camp site so there's one fire pit to fit us all.

RV sites are roomy but can be far from primitive restrooms - flushing RV-like toilets are not bad but only skylite no electric lights, cold water faucets & showers. Tents are pitched on the trail above the parking space. Fire rings & termite-damaged picnic tables on a dirt/gravel patch besides parking. Trails 4 & 5 were closed so no beach access (although a couple surfers jumped the fence). Trails 1 & 6 allow dogs; trail 1 accesses a beach w/ sand; trail 6 accesses a rocky beach. Great surfing beaches but not very good for swimming & wading. Bluffs are beautiful & 3 mile long flat road a great bike ride. Dump station cost $10 as of June 1st.
