Ooooo this place is sneaky! I would have never known about this place until my neighbor told me about this place. They sell all Japanese groceries and gifts. My daughter loves trying snacks from different countries and sometimes going to the Asian market doesn't cut it. The pricing here is just a little bit less than some Asian markets as well for their Japanese items which is good. It's not by the dollars but like $.50 but that's nice. We also went here to look at their gift shop because I love Japanese dinnerware/cookware and they have things of that nature there as well. The kid items like toys are a little pricey though but do your own comparing to see if it's worth getting. Hope this review helps! Great place to go! I'm not Japanese but the staff that works there was super nice to me!

    Yes! That's spam.

You can do your grocery of delicious Asian products, tons of snacks and eat a meal when you're done. It's very clean and they're pleasant. I enjoy there Onigiri, Sake selection and delicious pastry and bread. The frozen aisle is full of convenience items. Dumplings. Shu Mai. Red bean ice cream. Bags of edamame. Even a brief scouting trip will send you home with some great frozen items and inspire you to return. Located on the top level of a shopping center; be prepared for a few steps or drive and park around the back.

One of two long aisles of Japanese goodies!

How have I missed this cute Japanese Market and I've lived in the area for a decade!? It started with my craving for onigiri which I started my search on Yelp and this market popped up. I usually buy them at Tea Doh up the street. I'm so glad I stopped here, I ended up leaving with a few yummy bento boxes and onigiris! I couldn't wait so I'm eating it in my car and typing this review with my sticky fingers from the bits of loose rice dropping as I stuff these onigiris in my mouth! Get in my belly! Btw, if you park on the ground level by Temari Sushi you will need to walk up some stairs just by the dumpsters to get to the entrance of the market. You're better off parking in the back of the building at the very end of the plaza to get in. I noticed that the door on the balcony level is not open. Watched customers walk all the way down the balcony to find out that door is locked.

Fantastic little Japanese grocer with yummy desserts, drinks and snacks! I saw a stack of bento boxes, turned around and then there was 1 left! That was enough to convince me. Grabbed an onigiri bento and a salmon onigiri. Both were very delicious and different from each other. The individual packaged salmon onigiri had salmon in it while the onigiri bento had bits of salmon mixed in with the rice. I think I would go with the individually wrapped onigiri salmon when I pick them up again.

Small store with lots of goodies. I usually visit after getting my hair done at Jen Shinn Studios in the same shopping center.

Does this place carry bento/lunch grab and go style everyday?

Do they have Japanese instant ramen?

    Yes they do.

Do they possibly have egg salad sandwiches or sweet cream rolls or steamed buns?

I'm not sure about the sandwiches. I saw chocolate eclairs (which we purchased), steak buns in the frozen section and cream puffs. I think they may have had sandwiches.

As the name suggests, there are specialty food items from all over Europe. While I saw some things like English teas, German cookies, and a few Greek items, it seemed like the majority of the offerings were from Eastern Europe. I think over half of the products had labels in Cyrillic alphabet with no translation on them in any fashion, so some things you just gotta know what it is or ask the staff. I saw a lot of things from Georgia and Ukraine, but I think I saw other products from that region (Russian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, etc.). The staff were very friendly, and cheerfully assisted me with some of the pastries we purchased. One had a nice balance of flaky pastry and fruit filling while the blintzes seemed a bit underwhelming. I also picked up a bottle of dessert wine and Children #1 and #2 picked out some candies that caught their eye. The inside is clean and somewhat small but easy to navigate. There is music playing (I don't know what language; I want to say Russian but in today's climate that could be a charged statement. Just want to say it positively adds to the vibe). Worth checking out, if you want to explore a product you might not otherwise be exposed to or if you want to find a specialty European item that you've been missing.

I needed a few items I wasn't able to find elsewhere and I decided to give this place a go. Upon entry I will say that they could afford to light a few more lights in here. It was rather dim. And I know this is no fault to them, but get the customers under control. As soon as I entered there was a customer acting a fool. I have no idea what had happened, but she didn't mind reading this woman the riot act. Then after she finished her first tirade, she started on everyone else. Listen lady, I'm here to pick up some celery and odds and ends, I wasn't even in this store. She kept this up the whole time she was in the store, whoever irked her, great job. After going through the produce section, which is quite fresh here. It says that it is fresh from the fields and I agree. Some of the best produce I have bought and it tasted quite fresh. I then made my way up and down the aisles. Each aisle was a different ethnicity. And each aisle was packed full with items that you would have to search far and wide for. I walked out of her with way too many snacks that are hard to find and do not regret it one bit. Yes, the customer service here could be worked on. But if they have to deal with customers like I described, I can see why they adjust their attitudes.
