Bacon Melt Croissant w Hash Browns

A small yet busy and efficient cafe!! Met a friend for breakfast and I truly enjoyed my French toast and real hand pattied sausage patty!! Our waiter was handling every table yet greeted everyone with a smile! A well served 5 stars!! Food was delicious with nice appeal. We are planning on returning soon!

I never have a bad experience at Lottie's Cafe! The staff is always so friendly and ready to help. They have some of the most amazing "daily" creations that the cooks in the back are cooking up, especially when it comes to their soups! The only downside is that the ambiance can be a little confusing. There is a small seating space, with the bar space, but then there is also a small room with gaming machines in them you get to listen to the noise from them while you're here. The people here are always super friendly and kind though! The vibe is all over the place, but the food and company are great!!

Had a great breakfast and visit with owner, Rick Frey this morning! We loved this place! It is super clean and comfortable. We even got to catch part of the Olympics this morning while we ate. Definitely planning a return visit to watch a St Louis Cardinals game and get dinner!!

The special was a turkey wrap. The soup is French onion.

I wish I'd taken a picture. Tuesdays are usually Taco Tuesdays with incredible pork and chorizo tacos and Baja chicken enchilada soup. But tonight is Fat Tuesday so they offered Gumbo. Wow! We've enjoyed lots of gumbo in Louisiana which couldn't compete with this. So good. And bartender sweet Colleen offers the BEST dessert martinis. Tonight was mint chocolate chip. Incredible! We look forward to evenings at Lottie's Cafe.

Clearly Delicious Breakfast pizza

The food was amazing I could tell they had made it fresh. They always made sure the drinks were full and they were very polite. The music and lighting kept the place vibrant!

Okay, please don't let the face of this cafe turn you away. While traveling Route 66 from Chicago, we stopped overnight in East St. Louis, il. This morning we decided to find a restaurant for breakfast. Using Yelp, again, I found this cafe near the largest ketchup bottle in the world. We opened the door and found the cafe "packed." Only one table was vacant which we grabbed. A large selection of breakfast and lunch items, but wanted breakfast. Our server, Athena, recommended the "Breakfast Stromboli; see the picture. Since we wanted to share, Athena said that was the perfect breakfast. Oh my, what an unexpected breakfast !!! Plenty of food for my wife and I. Delicious favors; we added sausage, onion and green peppers for a very small charge $3.00. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture before I started eating, here's what's left.

First timer, and now so disappointed I've been missing out on this place. In an unassuming, quiet little strip. So happy to have found this. They actually open early to get "breakfast" in but still have your mimosas and bloody Mary's. We were immediately greeted and asked for drinks. Both waitresses were teaming together to check on tables, and which I love to see. the food was all fantastic. The omelettes are huge.

Love this gem of a place. It used to be more of a secret but it has gained popularity. The food is always excellent and homemade. They could use a bigger space some days due to the gain in popularity. We had breakfast this time. 4 in our party and we split two omelets. They are huge portions so be ready to eat. We love their pizzas, soup, and salads as well. Recommend if you are in the area.

Definitely a hidden gem. Did a Google search for breakfast and this came up. Drove up and I had second thoughts. The place has blacked out windows and says "gaming inside". I wasn't sure what to expect. I decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed. I walked in to a pleasant atmosphere that was quite busy for a Tuesday morning. I was immediately greeted and waited on. I told the server how I was suspicious based on the outside looks. He said all the locals know the truth! I ordered the Breakfast Stromboli and it was really good! I wished the homemade dough had some more flavor but overall it was tasty. Nice large portion at a reasonable price. Check it out!

I have spent a lot of money at this place and the bar maid needs to improve her attitude. The owner has a great attitude that I like.

I like Gouda Cheese and it's not offered on a burger at many places, so I took advantage of this opportunity. Adding bacon to a burger is a no brainer, so the pairing was a winner. For a side, I went premium and enjoyed a side of house-made onion rings. OMG! These rings easily make my top three onion rings. They were huge, sliced thick, the onion still had a snap and the seasoning on the breading was super peppery, which I like. They offer a good variety of draft beers and we all know a cold beer goes well with a smash burger. My bartender was friendly and attentive. She was hustling serving the bar and tables in the bar area. She made everyone feel welcomed. When in Collinsville, I'll be sure to stop by again. They're adding pizza to the menu and I'll have to give it a try.

Ranch dressing KILLLER!! 10 out of 10. Baked Beans 3 out of 10 disappointing. Very bland. They were fresh beans but needed more seasoning or something. They weren't very busy so it was pretty quiet overall but they have Touch Tunes so that was nice. Waitress (Madison) super attentive, friendly, 10 out of 10 for her! We will be back to see how they evolve!!

The bar itself is gorgeous and the selection of drink drinks and what they have on tap is more than I've seen anywhere else. The service is pretty much immediate, the mixed drinks are fantastic (and I am very finicky about my mixed drinks), and the food....OMG THE FOOD! I really don't like burgers, but the person I was with got a burger and it was amazing and insisted I tried it and let me tell you, it was the best freaking burger I've ever tasted my entire life! I went there a second time, on a Saturday night, and it was very busy, but service was still very quick, my mixed drink was perfect, music was great, but not too loud where you couldn't hold a conversation and they even had security! At a bar/restaurant on Main Street in Collinsville!! as a tiny little female, who happen to be there with her tiny little female family member, I felt super safe and had a great time! So if you're looking for somewhere to go eat, I suggest Sloans, (I just found out they did brunch on weekends and I can't wait to try that, plus they have a full Lent menu, so no having to search while I'm allowed to eat on a Friday right now!). And if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a good time, while still feeling safe, with good service and good drinks later on in the evening, go to Sloan's!

(As much as I loved Honky Tonk's... when thst's pretty much all there is) With new bands every day the restaurant is open. It just happened I picked "Nelly Day" to spend the day at, so things were running later than usual - so thr live band for lunch was a little later than normal. So the atmosphere from the servers and bartenders was kind of hard to judge due to the awkward hours but if the few here today were the norm... you will be in Good hands So the food: Reasonably healthy portions for the burgers and pizza (of corse all with a bzrbecue flavor... maybe next time I'll definitely hit the Pork Pit.
