My new favourite Vietnamese Thai restaurant in the area. Lotus serves consistent taste and quality food. I love coming here for the lunch special or entree options. The food is authentic and full of flavour. My favourite 'go-to' dishes are Penang Curry Chicken, Drunken Noodle Stir Fry, and Traditional Authentic Pad Thai. I'm starting to try other dishes as well, and have not been disappointed. Service has been good, as there is usually only one server and the restaurant is not as busy as it could be. Decor is ok, and ambiance could be better. If they invested a bit more into the decor, they might attract larger functions and more clientele. read more

The best Thai food I have had in Hamilton. The yellow curry was must excellent. It was so flavourful and had a little kick to it. The crab Rangoon was most excellent... those were definitely thee best I have ever had. I am so glad I found this spot, but also so mad it took me so long to try it. Excellent food, service, and space. We were visiting the area and looking for a Vegan friendly place to eat. We stopped in and had the vegetable spring rolls and two meals. The yellow curry with Tofo was amazing. It had the right amount of flavor and spice. The Lotos Pad Thai was one of the best we've had. They brought all the flavors together. Delicious! Ordered - Tom Yum Soup: Savoury and filled with chicken, extremely comforting - Pad See Ew with Tofu (Spicy) and added bok choy: Omg my favourite dish! The spiciness added a great kick. There was enough for leftovers - Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken: Boyfriend extremely enjoyed this dish - Mango Sticky Rice: This was such great value for $6. Awesome! This place delivers on all fronts. It's clean bright and comfortable. The owner/ server is beyond polite and accommodating which is great because I have a shellfish allergy and some restaurants have a difficult time accommodating me. I had no issues and was not concerned whatsoever with my order being handled safely. I trusted this place which as someone with a severe allergy says something! We ordered the Chicken Satay, the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Chicken Pad Thai and a medium Rare Beef Pho. Every item was fresh and tasty. No complaints. The server was attentive and helpful without being over bearing. She was there when we needed things but not annoying at all. Even though this is a little out of the way for me I have found my Hamilton go to Pho spot. I don't think anyone who likes Pho/ Thai/ Vietnamese food would be disappointed. read more

Omg I love the place. Very friendly staff and quick service. The location was very clean and quite. The food was very delicious everyone in our party really enjoyed their food. The pho broth is one of the tastiest I've had and the portion and price is very reasonable. The pad Thai chicken was hands down the best in the city. The spring rolls were amazing as well. Was in the Hamilton area with some family checking out Albion falls and worked up quite the appetite! Found this spot because we were craving some Thai food. The place was very neat and clean, staff was friendly and the food was pretty standard, I would highly recommend their pho. I know that's not common for a Thai spot but it's a Vietnamese fusion joint. Overall great experience and fairly priced. We ordered 4 dishes and the total came up to about $50 so it was not bad at all. Pictures seen are the bbq pork over vermicelli and some pho with rare meat, well done meat and beef tripe. I pass by this place all the time so I decided to check it out. Food is really good. A lot of flavor and really delicious. We had the mango salad which was a good balance of tart and sweet. The two main dishes we had were tom yum chicken soup and spicy beef thai coconut curry. Both were really tasty. Service was fast and prices are comparable to other thai places. Not bad, food is good. Very tasty curry and pho soup. Word of caution though, I think my spice tolerance is decent since I eat Korean food most of the time. But even with reduced spice, the food here is hot!! For reference, all spice levels are about 1 or 2 levels higher than other places ( 3/5 spice here = 4/5 spice elsewhere). Vegetarian options are relatively less impressive compared to other places. read more

Great quiet place, portions are a good size but not as huge as I've seen which I didn't mind because it's always to much for me. They don't have sautee sauce which I was a little dissapointed because it's my favourite hot sauce for pho but not a big deal! I'll be back! read more

We Pass this place all the time . Stopped in on Saturday afternoon. So glad we did. Very friendly people. They will make a dish as spicy as you want. Also they can change things up to suit you. Family run. Food was quick to the table and was awesome. We both had noodle dishes and sampled each other's, both were great. Next time I am trying the Pho! The stir fry dishes here are superb (although they used wayyyy too much sauce in their pad thai), the pho soup are just about right (not too salty), This place is definitely comparable to Binh Minh @ Upper James (probably the best viet in Hamilton) . The prices are a bit higher than BM but not too outrageous. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for pho on the east mountain. read more

The wait staff was very polite and attentive - they helped get us out the door to meet a tight timeline. 101 spring rolls were great, 319 Pad See Ew was definitely something to come back for and 330 green curry was very nice. Ordered from here many times and have never been disappointed. My kids, in their teens love their traditional padthai, it's not spicy and has perfect amount of sauce. Found other review saying it's too saucy but have been eating for 2 months now and every time has been great. My fav is their yellow curry stir fry with vermicelli. I always ask for it mild and there is still a small kick to it that is just perfect for my pallet. Hubby loves their green curry, creamy and has the right punch of spice. Service is always fast and friendly. Very reasonably priced. We recommend coming in for lunch as every meal comes with veggie spring roll and salad, on top of that everything is UNDER $10! read more

This is a nice, very clean, Thai restaurant with rather plain decor. We had Sunday lunch here. Service was excellent and very friendly. Four vegetable spring rolls came with a nice red chili dip. My Panang chicken curry was excellent - a good "shot' of heat brought tears to my eyes - just the way I like it. The accompanying coconut rice was also very tasty. My wife was a bit disappointed with the cashew nut stir fry - it was too salty (she suspected a bit of MSG) and she reported that to the server. Hopefully the cook will adjust the dish. I had my first meal here yesterday. I ordered traditional pad Thai from takeout. When I went to pick up the restaurant was very clean and smelled amazing! Oh and there were many people there eating I which is always a good sign. The staff was super friendly and my meal was ready exactly on time. I must say the quality for takeout was excellent. Everything was steaming hot and the flavours were great. Can't wait to try an eat in experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
