Got a dip manicure 2 days before I went on vacation. Had to go back the day after I got my nails done because one of them chipped. 2 days into my vacation they all started to chip. This is how they look less then a week of getting them done. Dip usually lasts me a month without chips from other places. Very disappointed. read more

Terrible!!!! Left with 3 different cuts on my fingers and my gel wasn't applied right because it all peeled off.. and not even clean!!

1. Don't put pictures of great nail designs on your social media's for customer to go there ask for them and then be like "oh we can't make that". 2. They lady that did my nails managed to burn one of my nails/finger with the glue (I have no idea where she had that glue that it was so hot) and she also scrapped most things of my fingers with the "nail drill". 3.The nails just look bad at the end. Had a full set, "coffin" shape and they all pretty much had different shapes. The lady that did my nails didn't did a great painting job (asked for matte so they needed to have a great paint job so they can look good). And the pedi wasn't that good either but at that point I knew it couldn't be any better read more

Made an appointment for 12 pm with 3 other people. They had technicians right away, while I had to wait 30 minutes with no explanation or apology. By that point it was way too late, as I couldn't ask the other 3 people to stay while I waited. People who came in after me got technicians while I sat there. I had an appointment for 3:15 and I know that they prefer cash so I stopped at the ATM to get cash. Also, it was raining so it took me a bit longer than normal. As I was driving into the parking lot at 3:16 they called to let me know that they gave my appointment to somebody else. My new favorite spot! I've come in now for a full set, two fills, and a pedicure. My first full set wasn't the best experience, the nail tech was not very gentle and didn't understand the shape that I wanted (almond). I left pretty upset, but saw good reviews on yelp and Facebook for a nail tech named Kim. I returned two weeks later and got a fill with her. She was great, reshaped my nails into the almond shape that I wanted. Yesterday's fill was with Van, who I believe is the owner or manager. She was fantastic, the salon was very busy since it was April vacation, but she kept her cool and gave me perfect short coffin nails. The pedicure I had was also great, it was a standard one but included a long scrub, hot stones, and warm towels scented with essential oils. I will definitely return! read more

I made an online appt for 930 this morning. When selecting my options I chose any provider. I received a confirmation text right away and a personal note asking if I wanted anyone in particular for my services. I replied that anyone was fine. This was my first time at this nail salon. When I arrived today they took a good 5 mins just to approach the desk. Then they told me that the girl that does the online services was off today. They can't take me! Located at shops at five, right next to the dollar store is a fairly new nail salon that I believe is run by and has many of the same employees as French nails in Plymouth. They are still new as they opened in May, so they usually can take your right away. I went there on my birthday to get a quick manicure and I treated my fiancé to one as well. Also, my mom needed a manicure and a pedicure and wanted French manicure and gel on her toes. They were able to accommodate all of us at the same time. Of course my mom took a little bit longer than us, but still not too long at all! Everything looked great and it all cost about $100 plus tip. They offer A 7% discount for anyone who pays in full with cash otherwise, you can pay on a card but still need to tip with cash. There is parking outside of the parking lot, very easy to get. For the convenience of getting taken right away, the good job that they do, the great service, and a little price... Visiting from out of town and really needed my nails done. They fit me in right away for a manicure and the prices were way better than I was expecting. They charge different prices for credit and cash, but only $27 for gel using credit (which is a bit cheaper than I'm used to). The outside of the shopping center is kind of worn down so I was a little nervous but they did a great job! I walked in without an appointment, showed them a picture of nails they had done that I liked, and was seated to start my nails right away. She put so much effort into these nails (making sure they were filed and cut evenly, all the same length, painted carefully and neatly, etc.). I enjoyed this salon. Service was great even though it was busy. The salon was clean for the most part, however I think the stations and tools could have been cleaner. The price for my gel manicure was more than reasonable, and a lot cheaper than other salons from around the area. They had a good selections of gel colors as well. I will be back! read more

After the tech finished my (very nice) French manicure, he said "that will be 38 dollars", which is three dollars more than the advertised price. I asked why the increase, and he said it was due to the fact that one of my nails was broken when I came in for a gel fill....I reminded him that I (a regular customer) had never had this broken nail fee...he muttered something about a policy change...it wasn't the money, it was the principle....the place should have posted this new policy, or the tech should have told me before the manicure. I will look for another spa....seems these folks can afford to mistreat regulars! read more

First off, the water was insanely hot on my feet! They were beat red as soon as I yanked them back out of the water! After she cooled the water down a little, she didn't really speak much at all. The appointment itself seemed pretty rushed, compared to the hundreds of pedicures I've had before. After she was finished, I looked at my nails and they definitely looked rushed and were not done well. I just moved to the area and was hoping to have found a new place to go to, but it looks as though I will have to keep looking. :( read more

Don't bother to make an appointment since it doesn't mean anything. They take you in order of arrival regardless if you have an appointment. Waited for 35 minutes past my appointment time and left without my manicure. My regret is that I waited so long before leaving. I was trying to be patient. Choose somewhere else! With so many great salons in the Plymouth area, I'd avoid this one. At first, the salon looks spacious and clean, however, I walked into a packed house, was told 10-15 minutes. (I was skeptical but the owner insisted!) I ended up waiting 45 minutes and had to leave, without a mani or pedi. Customers came and left frustrated after each of us being told "only 10 minutes" and "you are next". Including people with appointments that had been waiting almost an hour! The technicians looked stressed and rushed and overall, not a great atmosphere. Words of wisdom: if you're busy, just be honest with your customers and please be considerate of their time. read more
