There is no excuse to demean customers, EVER. Not once, nor twice. Enough times to be reported. My hard earned money and time to do something good for myself to go in the direction it has once again only tells me one thing. Better be very careful because she'll have other customers lying for her too.. then, won't refund your money. Not even unspent gift certificates with receipts . Respect begets respect. Terrible customer service. They are rude! They did an absolute awful job on my nails when I was trying dip for the first tome. Thick& lumpy... so bad that I had her remove them before she did my other hand. They were so mad at the time they spent (which was rushed) but don't consider my time was wasted too. This was after waiting over an hour for my scheduled appointment with my mom & my niece for the 3 of us to get mani pedis together. Instead they staggered us bouncing around from person to person. Telling my mom her toenails were too long 50 times while the owner stared over at her feet with judgement while having my niece lean forward in pedi chair for mani. I was able to get past the wait but I'm paying for a service & I shouldn't have to settle for ugly nails. They lost my business. read more

Awful experience. I went in to get a gel manicure. The man working there painted my nails. I had polish on before but he barely removed it. While he was removing my cuticles he made my fingers bleed. He didn't file any of my nails to be even. Once he began painting my nails you could see the previous color I had on my nails through the new color. Not great the young man didn't even remove all the beige polish from my left hand before painting Over it with the clear color I picked out - all five fingers still have beige polish on them at the edges ! Brought Mom too we had pedis and Manis both, and our techs were too distracted by the TV they were watching to do a good pedi also. read more

This is the only place that I will go to get my eyebrows done! They also give an amazing pedicure. I have been a customer here for over 7 years. I recently moved away from Kingston, but everytime I am in the area and need my nails done, I will go here. The owner and her employees take the time to get to know their customers and really do go above and beyond to make sure that you have a good experience! It is also relatively cheap in comparison to places in the area. Definitely give it a chance if you are looking for a new place to get your nails done, or have had an okay experience in the past. I've gone to the salon a few times in the past and always had pretty decent service this time the manicure that I got was pure torture as the man doing the manicure made every single nail bleed by cutting the cuticles too short. The woman who I think is the owner came over and started yelling at him when she saw my nails bleeding and later tried to fix it up the checkout desk, unsuccessfully. She offered no kind of discount , just kept asking me if I was OK. Seriously nobody should have to pay to get that done to their hands by a professional. It caught me off guard . My hands hurt so bad for two days!!! I'm so mad at myself now for paying to have that done! read more

Hi, I was in yesterday (Thursday April 26th) at 6:00pm. I just wanted to have my gel polish removed and have clear gel put on. More than once I was asked about putting on a color even after I explained I am having surgery soon and can't wear polish. The girl wrapped my nails, I only had six nails that still had polish on. She asked if I wanted them cut and I said no just filed. She unwrapped one nail and scraped the polish off and seemed aggravated that it wasn't coming off so she said she was going to cut my nails just a little. Well, not only did she cut them very short but they are crooked and one has a chip in it. I also asked the price for just a clear gel coat and when she said $25 I said never mind I'll just do the regular $15 manicure. She proceeded to do the gel, when I asked if it was going to be $25 she said yes I told her I couldn't afford that and wanted the $15 manicure. She quickly took off what she had already done. Two other employees (one maybe was the owner) came over to explain how long gel lasts and again about getting a color. The whole process seemed rushed, I felt like she didn't want to deal with only doing a basic manicure. Now I'm stuck with short uneven nails and I'm out $15 (and a $3 tip). Honestly the worst mani/pedi I have gotten. They work hard but do not do a good job. I had a huge smudge on my nail and the lady looked at it and didn't do anything about it. I'm pissed. I've been here once before having a good experience but after this last one I will not be back. I made two appointments for myself (gel mani & pedi) and my mom (pink & white fill) first of all they wouldn't do both pink and white fill because "there's wasn't enough time" even though I made an appointment... so my mom didn't get what she asked for and they barely filed them so they where left way to long. Then I started with a pedi and the water was warm but not warm enough so I asked to get it hotter and the woman turned it a little bit didn't make a difference, toes came out just ok nothing to brag about. Then for my nails I asked for a French and the woman took a very long time, nail lengths are not all the same, rounded when I asked for square, I don't know why but she filed them after the gel was cured so the filings stuck to the gel and she just put clear over it! I left upset and went back maybe a half hour later saying I wasn't happy and all the owner did was put another clear coat on top. You can clearly still see the filings now under two coats of clear. The owner talked down to me like I made the mistake and that I didn't understand what I was talking about, to bad for her I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I know what I'm taking about and know I could of done a way better job! Take my advice and move on to the next, this place is not worth your time or money. read more
