What a wonderful place. The salon is very warm and homey and the decor is refreshingly non-salony. Bridget is terrific and I've never had anything but great cuts and colors. And she can do amazing things with a blowdryer. I've also seen lots of ladies leaving with cuts and colors from other 'dressers who look like they do a lovely job as well. Prices are what you'd expect for a foil and cut. They also have makeup and waxing etc services. And the girls who work there have agreed to come in to work at 6 (!!) AM on the morning of my wedding to do our hair (thanks!). Only trouble is you gotta book a bit in advance, especially for evenings, so Reflections isn't for procrastinators. read more

My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done at the Salon. They did such an excellent job, and were very welcoming. We were all very happy with our hair and makeup afterwards. Marg, Kaye, and Deb did a great job our on hair, and Kaye did a wonderful job on our makeup. The salon was really clean and the prices comparable to other salons in the area. I had a full foil and cut and blow dry. I was not happy with the outcome. The color already looks like I need it done again, I have roots! I'm going to see if they can somehow fix it but I'm not sure I would go back again. read more

I'm a blonde fanatic and she does my highlights perfectly! She does awesome updos as well. Jacqui did my hair for a wedding and it came out exactly like the picture I brought! I used Reflections as the salon for the day of my wedding in July 2016. My wedding party, mom, and mother-in-law also got their hair and makeup done. This salon is in an awesome location. It is down by the waterfront in Plymouth and the side facing the waterfront has large floor to ceiling windows- great lighting and great views! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You are able to bring in any type of food and beverage you choose- and they so graciously provide champagne and glasses! Jacqui is the stylist who did my hair and she is AMAZING. I had gone in for a trial run a month and a half before the wedding and with showing her a picture of what I had in mind, she created a beautiful updo. On the day of, she did an even more amazing job. My hair looked beautiful and didn't budge- lots of bobby pins, but you couldn't see a single one and they didn't dig into my head the whole day/night. She also did my mother's and junior bridesmaid's hair and did them so elegantly and age-appropriately. I do not recall the other stylist's name who worked with us but Jacqui ended up coming to the rescue and fixing my maid and matron of honor's hairstyles because the other girl has been lazy and unattentive. She had even said to my youngest sister (maid of honor) "You don't have a lot of hair for me to work with". That is not something you say to someone when your job is to do people's hair. Work with what you have! Anyways, Jacqui graciously and professionally stepped up and saved the day. Everybody was very happy with their hairstyles and looked so incredibly beautiful. Beatrice is the makeup stylist who contracts with the salon. She is extremely sweet and very good at what she does. I had done a trial with her as well prior to the wedding. Going into the wedding day, I knew I wanted a different look than what was done during the trial. I told her instead of a natural tone with browns, I wanted more of a pink hue that added brightness to my face. She took that and made me into the vision I had of being a bride. She uses airbrush makeup and it really didn't come off the whole night. At the end of the night, I had multiple people telling me how amazing I looked and how I looked the same as I did at the start of the day. Beatrice did everyone's makeup so that their features popped and enhanced everyone's beauty, but not in a way that looked scarily overdone. I wouldn't hesitate in using Reflections again. It is a great salon with talented stylists (go to Jacqui!) and incredibly friendly staff. They helped start my wedding day off great and I couldn't be more thankful and happy! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 2 of my girls had to have their hair redone due to the lack of effort and skill of the stylist that was originally assigned to them, as well as my mother-in-law having to go back to her hotel room and restyle her own hair. read more

Definitely the nicest and best salon in Plymouth! I have been going to Reflections Salon and Spa for my wax and hair appointments for many years and have never wanted to go anywhere else. The location (look out to the Plymouth waterfront as you get your hair done!), service, and staff are fantastic. The salon is also very beautiful and CLEAN, which I appreciate. There are a number of services offered including hair, nails, make-up, waxes, and massages. All of them are done superbly and professionally. When you walk in, you are welcomed by a receptionist who promptly checks you in and guides you to the waiting area (the wait usually isn't long). Whether you decide to sit and flip through magazines or hair-styling books or browse the hair products that are available for purchase, the ambiance, decor, and natural lighting of the salon makes your time there pleasant and relaxing. Your hairdresser will then come greet you in the waiting room and walk you to the salon area, offering complimentary coffee or water to you. Everyone who works there is amiable, welcoming, and genuine. They make their clients feel pampered and comfortable, while maintaining professionalism. I like to read a book while getting my hair done, and my hairdresser (no matter who it is) always adapts to my preferences in conversation. They really take pride in creating the right atmosphere and experience for the client. The owner, Erin, also works frequently, allowing you to a put a face to the business. I especially appreciate this because it lets me know that the owner is as involved with the business as the staff and clients, and is more aware of how the salon operates on a daily basis as opposed to an owner who stays behind the scenes. Regardless of whether I get a cut, color, foil, Keratin treatment, wash and blowout, or prom/wedding up-do, I am always pleased with the results. I believe that having your hair done is both a service and a luxury, and the hairdressers at Reflections treat it as such, always making sure you leave the salon feeling beautiful and well taken care of. The same work ethic is applied to their other services (make-up, wedding parties, waxes, massages, nails) and the result is always exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend going to this salon and spa for any treatment. The experience, attention, and results you receive are unbeatable! read more
