I was going to get it done there, but realized I'd never know what it was going to sound like until it was on. If I didn't like the sound at that point I'd be stuck. The young girl at that shop actually recommended I check out Lou's and I'm glad she did. Chris (the owner of Lou's) was great. I explained what I wanted and he took the time to temporarily set up different configurations until I got the sound I was looking for. During the install he was meticulous at making sure everything was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the end result and it was about half as much money as it would have been to buy a pre-made kit and have the first shop install it. On a side note I know a guy who is a master welder for over 30yrs. He was extremely impressed at Chris's welds.

I was a little worried about the computer and so forth, but you had attraction no time for me and a broken wire on my starter. My truck is getting some age on it so I really like to care that Twin City gives me the really nice people they work hard and they take good care of you. There's times when I call him in an emergency situation. Something's broke down. I've had to have it towed over to their place and they work right on it and they figure out what's wrong. I set up my appointment via text as well, and it was about 10 or so days out, but it didn't even take them half the day to finish the work, and best of all, they realized I didn't need a certain part installed so the cost ended up being significantly less than what they quoted originally. AAA came to jump my car, and when that didn't solve the problem they towed me here. I didn't know what to expect, but I was so pleased by the kindness and promptness of the team here. I had no appointment and understood I could be without a car for a few days. But within 48 hours my car was working and back to me again. Things that stood out-their team is direct and goes above and beyond for you! They told me everything that I needed to know about my car troubles (ultimately a new battery) and things that I should look into (due for oil change and state inspection). They did all of this work for a reasonable price and I know I'll be coming back here in the future (hopefully with a scheduled appointment and not a breakdown). That morning the local chevy dealership said they could not look at it on Saturday, but will look at the truck first thing Monday morning. I had the truck towed to the local Chevy dealership to them on Saturday. Early Monday morning I spoke with the service personnel at Chevy and they promised to look at the truck that day, by 2:30 they told me they couldn't get to the truck until the next. I called Lou's shop explaining to them the situation I was in, I had the truck towed from the Chevy dealership and over to Lou's. The truck got to Lou's after 4 o'clock and they had it fixed by 5 that day, getting me back on the road with professional, fast service that actually cared about helping me out of a bind and didn't even charge me for the repair. Knowing the economical hole I was in staying in a vacation town beyond my planned stay. These guys are an angel on your shoulder.
