Extremely disappointed with the service provided during my dishwasher reinstallation. The installer failed to properly secure the water supply line when reinstalling the original dishwasher after the new unit could not be installed. Later that same day, using the sink caused water to leak inside the cabinet area, resulting in significant damage to my kitchen cabinet base and surrounding materials. What should have been a routine installation turned into property damage, ongoing insurance claims, inspections, and weeks of unnecessary stress. The damaged cabinet structure now requires professional evaluation and possible replacement because of water saturation and material failure. A professional installer should verify all plumbing connections are secure before leaving a customer's home. That basic standard was clearly not met here. I strongly recommend others thoroughly inspect all work before installers leave and be cautious when using this service. read more

Un reliable.had pipes spring leaks from main in basement. Was suppose to repair weeks ago.always excuses so far I paid him $1500.00 total to fix right the first time.but was not done.so now I called a reliable company he put a check valve on pipe that goes to the water meter.fustrating. read more

He was suppose to call me that night, never did, so I called him and got told that he would call back... never called back, didn't show up the next day. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This company is contracted through Sears which is how we came to use them. We purchased a new stove top, oven and kitchen hood through Sears and they were sent out to install. It was supposed to be installed a week ago and they call the day before and said the items hadn't arrived yet. Fine. It was set to be installed today so once again I took off work to be home for the gentleman to come and install. He called early in the afternoon and said he was running late. Fine again. What does it matter I'm finally getting a new stove set and I'm a baker so I'm so excited right?! Wrong. The guy arrives late as promised and looks irritated to begin with. Whatever it's Friday afternoon who isn't? The first thing out of his mouth is how old our stove is. He begins taking the stove apart and midway through decides he's unable to complete the installation because our stove is too old. I immediately tell him how that's unacceptable...this stove needs to be installed today and if he can't do it he needs to get someone out here that can. He argues with me about how we need a whole team out here equipped to do the installation because the thousands of tools he has on him and in his truck cannot do it apparently. He offers TO LEAVE THE NEW OVEN SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY KITCHEN SO WE CAN FIND SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT. No I'm sorry but that doesn't work for me! He literally screws a few things back in packs up his things and leaves with my new stove, and oven without another word!! He left the screws and my oven knob laying on the counter. I cannot use my oven now. I called this company and spoke with Susan who said the man told her he put the old stove back together...he did not as I informed her. She said he would look into it and give us a call back. We are still waiting on that call. I have left numerous messages and am getting no one. It is now 6:15pm, the Friday of Labor Day weekend and not only do I not have my new stove, I CANT EVEN USE MY OLD ONE BE AUSE THE GUY DIDNT PUT IT BACK TOGETHER!!! It's a holiday weekend and I need to be able to cook! Do not use this company. Incompetent and apparently can only do installations on newer homes and kitchens. Very unprofessional. Will be leaving a review for Sears as well because they were equally awful and unhelpful. UPDATE: Still no call or answer but having called Sears I found out this company CANCELLED my installation without my knowledge or a courtesy call. It just keeps getting better. read more

Another horrible job by Lou the Plumber. Sent out by Sears. Unable to install cooktop because granite not wide enough so my husband purchased a diamond blade and ground down the granite so the cooktop would fit. Don't get me started on the wall oven. When he removed my old wall oven he left a 20 inch scratch in my hardwood floor. I filed claim with Sears. Secondly he told my husband that we needed a wood board to be installed in the cabinet to raise the new wall oven. We do that. He installs and leaves. I return home from work and the wall oven is not properly installed. I had to have Sears resend out another installer to do the job properly. The floor, it's been over a year and we are still trying to get claim paid. Horrible business man. Won't respond to any letters from his insurance company. read more

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion , but I really do not understand these one star reviews. I find it refreshing to find an honest person in ANY field. I also ordered from Sears and the installer was Lou. We thought our garbage disposal was a goner. When Lou arrived he did his majic after hitting the reset button and our old disposal worked fine. He could have easily not done anything with the old one except dismantle and put on the new one and added more $ in his wallet. So, I find that when somebody tries to save a customer some money , is honest and very personable, he deserves more than one star. Because of that first experience, he will be on our go to list. Very unsatisfactory experience with this company. They installed a dishwasher from Sears and charged me $70 extra for a small, standard fitting. Wholesale cost is $3.88. Their explanation was that everyone gets charged that. They would not budge, and Sears said they had no control over what their contractors did. read more
