New kabob place opened so decided to do a carryout. Called the number on Yelp but I was told that was a personal owner/employee cell phone but he will fixed it. We ordered 4 steak kabob and 1 chicken kabob. Looking on the menu on line the kabobs came with a choice of a side of chickpea, potato or spinach so I ordered 3 with chickpeas 2 with potatoes. The owner/employee said he will give us a spinach side for free which was very kind. Upon picking up the order the owner also gave my husband a free Fereni (dessert). Very nice. The kabobs were very juicy and tasty. Rice had a sweetness due to shredded carrots and currents. Salad was measly with few ice berg lettuce and few chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers. I would have liked more salad and have it packed separately from the hot foods. Not a deal breaker since most kabob places pack hot with cold all together. White and green sauces were good but they came in half filled plastic ramekins, so definitely needed to ask for more. The sides were greasy but delicious. Nann bread was soft and doughy which was great. Only thing that was odd was the steak kabobs were $1more on our carryout receipt than the price shown on line and he charged us $1 more for each of the potato sides which was not mentioned as an uncharge on line nor when I ordered on the phone. These things people would appreciate to know ahead of time. read more

A wonderful family owned Afghan restaurant with fantastic food. The portions are large. The prices are low for both the quality and quantity of food. The rice was exceptional. The freshly grilled chicken kabob with two kinds of rice, salad, chick peas and a large hot naan bread was 12.99. How do you beat that? Try the backlava for dessert. Probably worst kabob I have ever had . Missing my side order . No flavor on the kabob and I have never seen that chunk of lamb and beef so big that it was impossible to be cooked . I could not even finish half and the rice did not touch . Ordered the chicken kabob to go. Guy on the phone was super attentive and even more when I picked up. Lots of rice! Option of white or brown, and I got 6 big pieces of chicken. Super tasty and not overdone. Option of spinach, chick peas or salad on the side. You get salad already so I got the chicken peas. They come in a separate container and are super good. Container for food is made out of recycled paper it seems so handle with care. Bread is multigrain it seemed. I would definitely recommend it! read more

Saw some great reviews, was in the mood for something different than my usual choices, so decided to give Loudoun Kabob a try. Food was made fresh and tasted awesome (the chicken kabob was moist, seasoned and very tasty). The yogurt and naan were also great! I decided to drop in on Sat. evening and it wasn't busy at all. There was only one person in front of me that was waiting on their order. One employee was on their break playing videos from youtube in the dining room, so I wasn't going to be dining in there if that was still going to be the issue. There was also one employee going back and forth from the kitchen to the register. I was ready to order and stood behind the counter for over 4 1/2 minutes without being asked if I wanted to place an order or wanted to pick up something that I ordered. I left. Proper protocol is not to have any customer waiting to place an order for over 45 seconds. Horrible customer service. I went to Moby Dick 5 min. away and they greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and took my order right away. read more

The absolute WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. I have Afghan in my background so when I called I spoke Farsi and was very nice. I asked if they had lamb chops and he said no then I asked if I can get the chicken and lamb kabob combo. However, I informed him that I was ordering the food for a person who has cancer and to just pay extra attention to the cleanliness of it and to cook the lamb well so it's soft. He goes off at me and starts saying: "you are ordering one order of kabob and are making all these requests." "Americans eat what I feed them and never ask for extra cleanliness and soft meat." I was seriously awestruck at this man's tone and lack of customer service on the phone. I will be sure to tell all my AMERICAN friends to not eat from this establishment and will also be sure to let the afghans know how rude he and how much he hates his own community. Also when a restaurant get upset and has this kind of a reaction to a customer asking for extra cleanliness should be a RED flag. I will take my business and my money elsewhere. FYI Ashburn kabob is delicious and has great customer service. The only reason I even called this place is because they are closed on Mondays. read more

A friend of my told me about this newly opened Kabob Resturant. Man, their Chicken and Kobedah kabobs are juicey and delicious. Naan are freshly made. Their food is authentic Afghan and totally different than other restaurants in the area. Everyday they have chef special which is not listed on the menu, you might wanna give it a try.
