The place is a bit chilly inside with the fans, the tables and seating are alright but the bathrooms are sparkling clean (with lotas). I'd get this place again but take it to go because I couldn't finish the half portion either. They have free ice water next to the cutlery, napkins etc so that was nice too. I took a singular bite into each item to perform quality assurance and was disappointed to find out the rice tasted like it hadn't been washed, the lamb smelled like it was alive, bread was cold and the chicken was average. Two options laid on the table, call it a lesson learned and eat the food and never go back or call the store and return the food. Since I hadn't had breakfast or lunch I went with option 2 and figured I'd pick some food from somewhere else. Used to be our go to for "Butter Chicken." Yesterday, we ordered, and the servings of their food were so small. So embarrassing for a $15 - $20 dish. Well, the Buttered chicken taste is still good, however, we will not come back. We will try to make our own as good from now on. Costco carries a brand of buttered chicken sauce that, if you add heavy cream, will taste the same. Homemade and cheaper. Small hole in the wall that packs a big taste. Food: 4 stars Service: 5 stars With an unassuming exterior and the gyro lunch special signs, I almost walked past...straight to super chicken. The inside is small but clean, with a few dining tables and a spacious outside eating area. Upon opening the door, you can immediately smell roasting meats, fresh bread, and sultry spices. I went with a kabob special and the samosa chaat. The portions were massive! and the bread, the bread was both soft and chewy, light but filling - I could hear the chef pounding out dough every few minutes, making them to order. In fact, I'm certain they made my food to order and it only took 10 min or so. That's a price i'm more than willing to pay for homecooked food. The young man who took my order let me know it would be a few minutes to prepare the food, showed me the tea, and cleaned off a table to sit. This dude was like 6 employees in one, taking orders, preparing sauce, busing tables, and taking the time to chat with regular customers. The meats are consistently moist and tender. The platter ( super platter 12) also comes with a large serving of naan and a crispy salad with slivered onions with a tangy yogurt sauce. Absolutely love this joint. It's convenient and the food is always tasty. My two favorite dishes to order are seekh kabob karahi and the half charcoal chicken. The yogurt sauce is always on point, the rice portions are always enough to go around and the naan are always fluffy and delicious. They also don't get super stiff and inedible quick, which is a big deal. The chana are always perfectly soft, but still have a good bite and the palak is incredible. I could eat it daily and never get tired of it. I've tried the chicken biryani and haven't been disappointed either. Also, the chapli kabobs are tasty as well! Plus, the salad is always incredibly fresh. I'd wager they have the freshest salad and yogurt sauce in the area. Only gripe, but to me it's worth it, is when you call and they say 20 minutes and you show up then, you might have to wait another 5-10. read more

Even though there was some confusion when I ordered (I wanted to try the beef kabob, but ended up with a chicken kabob, I'm pretty sure I said beef, but the guy at the counter insisted I ordered Chicken... oh well, I'm not allergic to chicken or anything and it looked good so I went with it) Good sized portion on the wrap for the price. The chicken was moist. The flavor was great and I like the vegetable choices they used in the wrap.. It all tasted very fresh. They had green sauce, which is a big plus for me. It had really good flavor but I wish it was thicker somehow, it was the kind of consistency that runs right through the wrap. With that being said, it was delicious and I was happy they had it. Glad neither of their sauces tasted like Mayonnaise. I hate it when any kabob sauce tastes like Mayonnaise. They also had some complimentary tea set up if you ordered an entree. It was really good tea. Kind of like a masala tea, but I'm not sure if that's what it was or not. I think it said Cardammon and Cinnamon? They also have a lunch buffet that I want to try. This is the best place in NOVA to get butter chicken. They give you the perfect portion for the price. (Comes with a side of rice and home made naan bread) The sauce is creamy, spicy, and absolutely delicious. (There are levels of spicy you can make the sauce as well). The lamb and beef kubideh-style kabobs, as well as the naan, samosas, chickpeas, etc., are all very mediocre. The rice is very good, seasoned Pakistani style with a cinnamon flavor. But one glorious, glorious thing happened here -- the chicken. The chicken is the most perfectly cooked, spiced, flavorful kabob chicken I think I've ever had. So delicious. Amazing vegetarian food. Iv tried their vegi kabob, paneer makhani and veg masala. They are all delicious and not too spicy. The place is a little hole in the wall type, but the food is terrific. The salad was mostly iceberg letter - fine, but nothing to write home to mom about. The dressing - which is where they could have saved this dish - fell short. She was very helpful in explaining the menu to us, especially figuring out some vegetarian options. We ordered channa platter, saag paneer and mix vegetable curry with naan and rice. To day the least, everything was delicious. They probably have one of the best naan I've ever had. It was SO fresh. The channa masala was full of flavor and made me want more. There was no meat in the chicken, When I complained to the owner, he was very rude and told me that that's what it is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as they are rip offs. I should have called the cops but my son got very scared and we left the place. I give it 5 stars! My pet peeve is when you go to a Kabob place super hungry, then you get hangry (hungry/angry) while waiting forever for food, then by the time you get your plate it is like a bed of basmati rice, bread and a puny little skewer of meat. This place is not like that. I wish I had taken a photo of my plate, portions are huge! I had the gyro salad and it was at least 50% freshly sliced meat right off the spit! They definitely don't skip out on the good stuff. I'm also giving five stars bc they give you free hot cardamom and cinnamon green tea with your entree. Kabob and chicken is tucked away in the dulls town crossing near nordstrom rack and best buy. This is my new favorite place for lunch in sterling. Lamb Curry is a must have. They have seasoned it in a way where it doesn't taste Haney at all. I thought it tasted like beef. It's amazing! Entree comes with rice and a side salad. Price is med- high for lunch in my opinion but worth every penny. It comes to 10 something for an entree and drink. The restaurant is Penara style in terms of how it works.
