This place used to be good, the gyro is still decent, but their quality and preparation has really gone downhill even on the gyro and naan bread and kabobs. They dont make the food fresh, besides possibly the naan bread. But even the naan bread is not fresh for every order. They gave us extremely hard chewy room temperature naan which we had to go ask them for freshly cooked naan instead, which was totally different. The gyro meat, they literally reheat previously cooked gyro meat instead of carving it fresh off the roasting cone and providing freshly cooked gyro meat. The gyro meat they provided was also room temperature and obviously not fresh. Maybe if you get lucky and come in at the right time you can get gyro meat freshly carved off the cone, but the other times youll be getting older and reheated gyro meat which is unacceptable. Its the same situation with their beef kobideh kabobs and possibly even their rice. These were not made to order, instead both the kabob and rice were room temperature, not hot, and they had obviously reheated the kobideh kabobs instead of actually cooking fresh ones. All of this is unacceptable. To top it off their prices are extremely high. Gyros i believe were $14 which is very high end for gyro. The kobidehs i believe were $18 or $19. So their prices are higher than most places yet the quality is lower. Theres plenty of places you can get a freshly cooked gyro or kabob with rice for less. read more

I've been going to this location for at least five years and for good reason: the portions are large, generous, and the food is always hot and fresh. The rice is seasoned well, and there is plenty of protein. You can customize your plate if you don't like salad or bread and get more rice. Recently, I ordered a Chicken Kobeeda platter, the chicken was cooked to perfection - with nice blend of spices, a good portion of salad and rice. Customer service is none existent. Person taking the order had no clue when the will be ready. Replaced order on the phone and came and paid for the order at 6:47PM. Told order will be ready shortly. Waited until 7:15 PM and asked if the order is ready and person said it is getting ready. Another gentleman came ovee and showed the other person that order was already done. The food is great. The kebab platters are really the best value and you can customize them to an extent (extra salad, less rice, etc). The chicken is never dry and well seasoned. The staff is efficient. My husband has gotten the gyro and lamb and has enjoyed both. Chickpeas are okay. This restaurant is really no frills and is definitely more suited for take out. (We regularly take ours to-go and head to nearby local brewery Ocelot where outside food is allowed) The online ordering is super easy to navigate and is more customizable if you are ordering for pick up. The delivery interface seems to be a third party so there are extra fees and you cannot customize as much and the tzatziki and pepper sauce seem to be extra. TLDR; Best if you order online for pickup or just in house (they're quick!) I don't recommend delivery. Nice well-seasoned and relatively light take out option. They use white styrofoam/thermacol box where u can see box portions melted in hot kabob. On top of this, they won't give enough sauce as well. Rice is dry, kabob is dry, watery old salad, for which they will give very small sized tzatziki sauce. One time they have put spoiled old green salad. This is another business that will most likely not generate a proper Google map for now... On the way home this evening, traffic was a bit backed up on the Loudoun County Parkway headed west, and I was hungry, so I stopped in at this fairly new retail complex. Currently there are about six places to eat here - with two more coming this year - according to the signs - a Vietnamese/Pho place, and a Fractured Prune. This retail complex is right off the Loudoun County Parkway, west and south of the Dulles Greenway, but before you reach U.S. 50. I decided to check out the "Dulles Kabob." I don't have a lot of experience with Kabob places, so I will be interested in what folks like Jeff and Kevin have to say if they get out here to try this place. When I walked in, there was no other customers. I ordered the Lamb Kabob, which comes with a salad, rice, and bread. While I was waiting on my order, I chatted with the guy who rang me up. I asked if they had a web site (as I did not see a web address listed anywhere). He said not yet. As we chatted, I told him that I noted that this retail complex of addresses does not show up on Google or any other map programs. He acknowledged that and talked about how new this retail complex was. I was bemused when he mentioned he had gone online and Googled the business to see if anyone had reviewed it - he specifically mentioned looking on Yelp.com for reviews of the business. If he only knew what was about to come! I got my order, and took it into the dining room area in the back of the restaurant. The area was an interesting mish-mash of yellows, oranges, and cream colors. The tables themselves were a shade of yellow, while the chairs were a reddish stained Cherry color. I got a Diet Coke to go with my food. The piece of bread they serve with this meal is freshly baked - and massive in size, I've never seen such a huge piece of bread. The Lamb Kabob itself was flavorful, I love Lamb. However, the one negative thing was that the Lamb itself was a bit on the chewy side. Some bits were tender and tasty - but to much of it was a bit fibrous. The salad, was fine. The meal was served with two types of rice - one a brown color, the other white - both were aromatic and tasty. The bread was also not bad. I spread some of the yogurt sauce on it to add some flavor to it. Next time I plan to try either the chicken Kabob, or the Gyro. read more

This place is seriously the BEST place for kabobs in the area. Move over, Reston Kabob. The portions are quality here of the food at Dulles Kabob are far superior. I usually don't give out 5-stars so easily, but the fact that the size of the food was super large, flavorful, and filling, and the ground beef platter was only $9.99 made this a must-try. The platter comes with one juicy ground beef kebab, a "side" salad, 2 different kinds of rice, AND a big piece of bread. I was able to substitute at no charge one of the rices for a side of chickpeas because I was really craving them. The chickpeas came in a bowl, and was a big portion. I shared with my bf, and we could barely finish it. I substituted out the brown rice, and kept the white rice, but next time I know to keep the brown rice. I tried my bf's and it was delicious and way more flavorful. The "side" salad was seriously half the huge platter, and full of healthy super greens like kale, mixed lettuces, etc. I was super impressed and happy, because all the other kabob places give you A SINGLE TOMATO and a strip of lettuce and call that salad. Also: the Gyro platter was huge as well. My bf eats a lot, and he couldn't finish it. The gyro meat is plentiful and crispy! TRUST me. Eh, it's just not as good as it used to be. My kabobs were just ok, juicy, but really nothing spectacular like it once was. The chicken used to be divine, now it's just as good as anywhere else, but nothing out of this world, the chicken used to soft and juicy, now it was overly charred and teetering on the dry side. Portions are smaller now too, I ordered a ton of food but just felt like I didn't get my money's worth. My kabobs were puny, not lucious chunks of meat like what used to be. The chicken was dry after a few minutes, meaning it was overcooked, just drizzled with oil to compensate for the overcooking. The lamb stew was tough and too salty. I asked for crispy bread and they didn't even bother. The workers got my order wrong, but they didn't really seem to want to rectify things. Will not be back.
