Dad's weekend at OU and I'm about to indulge.! We fell into Louies after happy hour at Logies Louies is a small place but well laid out and definitely fun! We were hungry and ordered both boneless wings and boned wings- according to all in our party they were awesome! 5 STAR We all had tacos , I had the poblano chicken tacos - chicken was slightly overdone so it was tough but tasty. Girls had salmon tacos and blackened shrimp tacos both good . 4 STAR Fun place with a good menu to satisfy your munchies or more!

So I'm not going to lie I really wanted to like this place I've been to many other locations but today just was not the best experience the food was fine the waitress was very friendly but it was a late night we did not want to cook at home so we decided to look for a local deal I found on the website that Louis had kids eat free on Wednesday so I thought that would be great I even went to the website of the restaurant to check and it was on their site too... So we went with my father-in-law and my wife and our two kids we ordered two kids meals, a pizza, two burgers an appetizer and two beers when it came time for the check I looked and both kids meals were still on there. I asked the waitress and she said let me check with my manager the manager came over and said I'm sorry that is for a different location we have different specials depending on which Louise you come to I was a little confused but agreeable pay $95 for my meal only to look at the site again when I got home and lo and behold their address is the top of the site it's just a little frustrating for the manager to come over and either lying or be confused enough about the policy I'm not that worried about $10 but if I don't enjoy my experience I don't know that I will do repeat business... I even asked about another special they had on their site about $25 to go family meals he said we run that special but not the kids eat free... I have a huge problem either being lied to or Just false advertisement... It's not that big of a deal monetarily but it is one of the reasons we chose that establishment in the first place ...I guess fix your website or honor what's posted there

Great little grill and bar at Campus Corner. Food was yummy, drinks were amazing and the waitress was super nice and friendly. Will definitely be back next time we are in Norman.

This was my first time going to Louies. Best experience ever! We had hands down one of the best servers, Daley. She is the reason I love Louies now. Thank you Daley for making sure our first louies experience was a good one!!!

Overall a good experience. Wasn't too busy in the restaurant so the service was great. Ordered the strawberry mojito and it was good. Good came out fast. Food was great and will be back read more

The food was decent...good enough to eat, but I'm not sure it's worth coming back for. For college students, though, it's not a bad spot to grab a meal. Service was on the slower side, especially considering the bar wasn't very busy. I also ordered the cherry limeade cocktail, and it honestly tasted like there was no alcohol in it at all, disappointing. I wouldn't recommend buying alcoholic beverages here; it feels like a waste of money. That said, our bartender, Sage, was super friendly and always greeting us with a smile. Multitasking didn't seem to be her strong suit, but the positive attitude definitely made the experience better. read more

Louie's in this location is on the corner of campus corner and offers a great spot to sit and watch everybody walk by. They have typical food for a Louie's and they do have one of my favorite drinks, the Oh So cherry. Service can be slow due to crowds, depends on how many people are here. read more

We expected so much from this place. Total let down. Warm draft beer. Service is very slow. Drinks are very weak for $6.50. Patio is in need of a working ceiling fan, more tents, and misting fans. I can't believe this has not been addressed. Could be at least a 4/5 gold mine. read more

It's just okay. The burger really didn't have much flavor. I feel like for as expensive as it is, the meat and cheese could be better quality. Our server was really sweet though. She was bartending and waiting on the tables outside at the same time, bless her heart. The queso was alright, but they charge 8.99 for a serving that was barely enough for the two of us so if you have more than a couple of people I'd recommend getting something else. Overall, not my favorite place but if you're drunk then it's better than fat shack. read more

Was with a party of 8 people tonight. Service was slow, which is understandable, because it's a big group. One of the meals was wrong and by the time it was corrected and came out everyone was already finished with their meal. We asked the waiter if there was anything they could do... like comp the meal... they came back with a receipt giving her only 90 cents off. It was sort of a slap in the face like they didn't even care. read more

Attempted to come to lunch today, on Super Bowl Sunday, and was informed at 12:30 that I must have my complete order in for my whole party before 12:45 or else they wouldn't be able yo serve us at all. As this was explained, it was because they accepted a catering order that was so large that they would not be able to accommodate any other business through the remainder of lunch service. One question- why would one of the biggest restaurant groups in Norman be so completely overwhelmed by regular lunch service and a catering order? If you cannot accept completely regular walk in business on one of the more standard times of the week, then what business do you have accepting the catering order that will hobble the kitchen? read more

I enjoyed my visit to Louie's. I was visiting my son on campus, and we ended up here for beer and food. Well, he had food - a good looking wrap. I stuck with beer. I tried a local OK brew that I found awful. The very friendly waitress offered to replace it for me, but I drank it - it wasn't HER fault. But then I followed it with a reliable Anchor Steam. I liked the location, the atmosphere, the bar, and the service. read more

So I went here for first time me and wife. New to Norman heard about it.. Went to try it out. For the prices you would at least expect a warm meal. Soggy fries and limp like they were undercooked. Burger was cold so not that great. Wife got a chicken sandwich same deal cold..Server was no good and a bit rude . But that was taken out of her tip. Good selection of beer..Great location only live 3 minutes away. But will probably never return. No I didnt mention cold food to sever cause it already took long enough to get it. Didnt want to wait longer. They probably would have only nuked it anyways. Now I gotta find another spot to drink and get a burger read more

We had a wonderful experience over all. Our waitress was so great!! From the moment we sat down and on. Unfortunately while we were there yesterday evening the power went out in the restaurant which was out of their control. The manager comped our chips and queso for us due to the power outage and we paid for our beers. The service was excellent even after the power went out. Due to the service being so wonderful and the staff accommodating us during the power outage I will return just to try the burger I ordered and was wanting in the future! It sounded yummy and unfortunately because of the power outage I couldn't try it. But I will be back soon just for that! read more

We shared the Buffalo Wontons, the Chicken Flatbread and the Banana Pepper Caesar Salad. The Flatbread was amazing, great flavor combination. The salad has parmesan crisps that were a pleasant surprise. A huge upgrade over croutons. The wontons are light and flavorful. They offer brunch from 10-2 on weekends and after reading the menu descriptions we returned on Sunday to try the Okie Bennie and the Rancheros. The crispy potatoes are awesome. Skin on, seasoned and a great addition to both dishes. The verde sauce on the Rancheros was delicious, the carnitas was tender. A great breakfast bowl. The Okie Bennie was very good. Easy to get a bite of egg, chicken and biscuit on your fork. We finished the meal sharing the sweet potato cheesecake. Our server on Sunday was Matthew. The Winston is worth the wait. Weather permitting, the outdoor patio is a good option.

Also had onion rings and while I like a good amount of salt in the breading I will say the salt in these bordered on being overpowering. Maybe back off a hair. The wife got a Theta and enjoyed it. One of my girls tried the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese and was pleasantly surprised (I also tried a bite of it and thought it was good). The other girl just had chips and queso and said they were solid. Both girls also had Garlic Parm Fries and liked them. We will definitely add this place back to a regular option for burgers.

For our mains I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was good, but not exceptional. Reed ordered the bacon cheese burger and said it was very good. Jan ordered the french dip and said it was very good. Kris ordered the club with fries and said it was OK. Loved the patio setting and experience. The service was average. The Mont is a solid sports bar style of restrauant with a corresponding menu.

I did venture inside. Nature called. The stained glass, entry to the bar, and seating inside was exquisite.

Good beer selection or great for that matter. The cocktail menu is just as epic but let me tell you right now. You're gonna wanna start your day with the fried deviled eggs and they shaved fried pickles. I know the shaved part probably throws you off but when I tell you right now, these were the best fried pickles over ever had.... As we move onto the burgers, my wife keeps it simplistic with getting your now when I say basic bacon cheeseburger that's selling it short it was fantastic seasoned and cooked perfectly! I decided I wanted to step on my game and try the heat wave. This burger was epic, super hot and everything. I wanted it to be.!! I got the onion rings for the side we also had a side of mac & cheese for our 15 month old. Both of them were fantastic. The onion rings were crispy and seasoned, and the mac & cheese was just as epic... I appreciate the excellent service as well as the recommendations we are so glad we got to experience this place. We love a great burger joint and that's definitely made a great trip. Thanks for a great afternoon.

We ordered several appetizers and enjoyed most of them, though the cornbread was noticeably dry according to several people at the table. The coconut pineapple margarita was a standout and well worth ordering. The tropical flavors were delicious, and the coconut rim was a great touch. I also loved my salad, especially the tomatoes, which were surprisingly flavorful. For my entrée, the steak was cooked well and paired nicely with the mashed potatoes. Although the texture kept it from matching my first visit, it was still very enjoyable. One thing we really enjoyed was the atmosphere. We were seated in a room toward the back near the wine cellar, adjacent to a pond outside. It ended up being a great spot because we could watch people enjoying the outdoor area throughout the evening. The restaurant struck a nice balance, it felt upscale and welcoming without being overly quiet. Our group was able to be a little loud and goofy without feeling out of place, which made the experience even more fun. What ultimately secured the five-star rating was dessert. I can't remember its name, but it's pictured in the photo. It was enormous and absolutely incredible, one of the best desserts I've ever had and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. The steak wasn't quite as tender as I remembered, but the excellent service, great drinks, solid appetizers, enjoyable atmosphere, and outstanding dessert made for a wonderful experience.

We've come to Norman, Oklahoma two years in a row for work, and we've eaten at Pub W both times…read more This visit was just as great as I remembered, if not better! Our service and meal were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name, but she took care of our group of about 12 in the back room and was on top of everything all night. She was so kind, patient, and willing to repeat things when needed, which is huge when you have that many people trying to get attention at once. She even thanked us for coming in, which was such a sweet touch. The food was amazing. She accidentally brought out an extra side of squash puppies and let us keep them, so I tried them even though I hadn't ordered them. Let me tell you, you HAVE to order them. They were absolutely divine, and the butter and jam they come with are incredible. I started with a salad, which was also very good, and then ordered the chicken bruschetta based on our server's recommendation. The Brussels sprouts were insane, so flavorful and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The bruschetta was delicious too, and I ended up eating almost all of it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Pub W to anyone. The back room was the perfect spot for our large group and had such a fun, relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back the next time work brings us to Norman!

I have not seen the "very verbose" server, who had interrupted us continually on my first visit. Guess he doesn't work there anymore. Since then, servers have been attentive, but not overly so, and congenial. The restaurant is always clean. This includes the ladies' restroom. We usually get the Pick 2. The chupacabra sandwich is delicious. I've also had the fried shrimp and the fisherman's platter at different times. Both excellent. Suffice it to say, deciding to give Pub W a second try was well worth the effort.
