So we recently traveled from Austin, Texas to Norman to visit some family. We got in around noon and we're starving. My father recommended this burger joint around the corner from his house. This place did not disappoint right out the gate.! Wait time at the front door was a little longer than typical but nothing you shouldn't be used to when going in at lunchtime. If you're mad, you have to wait you might wanna go somewhere else.. Anyway, I digress as we sit down I take a long look around and check everything out. Poor little spot or TVs everywhere. Good beer selection or great for that matter. The cocktail menu is just as epic but let me tell you right now. You're gonna wanna start your day with the fried deviled eggs and they shaved fried pickles. I know the shaved part probably throws you off but when I tell you right now, these were the best fried pickles over ever had.... As we move onto the burgers, my wife keeps it simplistic with getting your now when I say basic bacon cheeseburger that's selling it short it was fantastic seasoned and cooked perfectly! I decided I wanted to step on my game and try the heat wave. This burger was epic, super hot and everything. I wanted it to be.!! I got the onion rings for the side we also had a side of mac & cheese for our 15 month old. Both of them were fantastic. The onion rings were crispy and seasoned, and the mac & cheese was just as epic... I appreciate the excellent service as well as the recommendations we are so glad we got to experience this place. Just ordered the chunky Elvis shake and paid an extra 10 between delivery and tip. It took them 40 minutes to prepare and when I got it, it was the nastiest soupy crap ive ever had. What was worse is it had the nastiest tiny bits of soggy bacon in it. It isn't even the same shake but they kept the same name. What manager retard decided on this change? DO NOT ORDER IT or you will literally throw up! It used to have peanut butter, fudge, walnuts and banas and was fantastic. I hate you bad daddys and I will spread the word. It was my first time at Bad Daddy's and they did NOT disappoint. We came for a late dinner and happened to catch the reverse Happy Hour with half priced appetizers. The Not Your Mama's Deviled Eggs are to die for! Chef's kiss! And the mozzarella medallions were perfect- you can tell it's fresh mozzarella and the cheese pill is everything! Neither of those are pictured, as they didn't last lol. The burgers were super filling, with crunchy fries that you can tell are sliced and fried fresh in house. The portion size is also huge, so we had leftovers to take home. Overall, the place was cozy and quiet, as we were there at 9pm, but with an abundance of TVs and seating options, I imagine it gets bustling during peak hours. I will absolutely be back! read more

Ummm Bad Daddys Burger is IT! This place impressed me from the start. We went in during an OU away game, so the place was pretty packed. We took a seat on the patio and Amity* came to greet us. She was so warm and kind and made sure she fully answered all of our questions about the menu. We started with the queso. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. It was a bit bland and the chips weren't that great. I did however, eat the queso with the tots and that made a nice combo. I ordered a build your own salad and my small one ordered a burger. BOTH were very wonderful. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, home- made dressings, good fries. It checked off all the boxes. Amity was even willing to bring me a few different dressing because I couldn't commit...and they were all delicious. I would definitely come back here again. Our service was amazing!! Megan was our server. She was so sweet and brought us everything we needed. However, the girl who "greeted" us when we walked in was nothing short of unpleasant. My cousin walked in and said "hi!" The host responded with  "how many?" laced with attitude. We responded with "eight" and she proceeds to just walk away and not say anything. Another girl comes over and asks if we've been helped and I said "i don't know she asked how many and then just walked away." The original girl walked over and said "I'm taking care of it." She then grabs the menus and walks over to our table and tells us to stay over by the door. We were confused but whatever, she then starts throwing the tables together and slamming things down on the tables. She finally tells us we can go over there and doesn't speak to us again. We later see her walk out the door. Hopefully that was her last shift because good grief. This happened 3-18-2026 around 4:45-5:00 so whoever was our host with the space bun hairstyle who looked at us like we had zebra prostate on our face, I hope you had a better day because your sour attitude nearly ruined ours. I've been twice- in person great service and good food. The queso was amazing. Ordered pick up recently - not as good - requested and paid for all gluten free buns- received two different buns. Not usually a big deal but one in our group has Celiac disease. Called manager to make sure which was GF - he was nice about it. However if we didn't open all the food at the same time we would have given someone a burger with gluten and she would have been sick. Moral of the story go in person or order bun free! read more

We stopped in for lunch, first time here. Ordered the chips with pimento cheese dip, it was good! I got the steakhouse burger with A-1, my husband got the bad ass burger. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. Our waitress was a complete doll, super helpful. It is a little loud in there, usually I struggle with noises, but this wasn't so bad. Ordered the Bad Ass burger and it was huge. It needed more seasoning, but the fried bacon was definitely worth it. If it's not already, the fried bacon should be an order able appetizer. Also ordered the truffle Parmesan fries and they were perfect! Everything about the flavor, seasoning, and especially the amazing dipping sauce were worth coming back. The service was great! Stopped at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar in Norman, OK and my eyes one of the best burgers around. I had the Badass burger which was a double patty burger with all the fixings to include buttermilk fried bacon. I had the onion rings which included a chipotle ranch which was fantastic. I didn't realize how big this burger was until it came out!!! Needless to say, I finished all of my burger, but it was a challenge! This place had a cool sports bar vibe with lots of TVs around and a full bar. The drink menu was nice and full and their house beers were great! What to do when you have a party of 10 that needs lunch? What to do when one needs low-fat options, one needs vegetarian and gluten-free options and the rest just want a good meal? Wow, that's a tough order to fill at times, but after a quick search, we found Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Spectacular choice! Got a great table and enjoyed checking out the eclectic memorabilia on the walls while we decided what to order. Buffalo burgers (low-fat restricted diet), black bean burger with gluten-free roll (for the vegetarian) and lots of other "regular" burger and chicken choices. Many sides from which to choose, too. Chicken sandwich was excellent, burgers were excellent too (all varieties - and cooked just right). Fried pickles were delish! French fries and onion rings were also superb. There are several craft beers available if you want to indulge. Service was a tad slow at times, but I'm sure it was because it was lunch hour on a weekday and the restaurant was a bit crowded. Prices were spot on, and the final bill was not as high as expected. Seating was comfortable. Plenty of parking available also. An excellent choice. This place is our staple burger joint! I've never eaten at this burger bar, but we've ordered take out so much from here over the years that it was time to leave a review. We have tried numerous burgers/sandwiches here, and we narrowed our favorites to the bistro burger and Emilio's chicken if you aren't feeling the burger. I love their truffle aioli and always order and extra side of it to have along with my burger, and we almost always get truffle fries to share.
