We had the worst experience at Louie's Tux Shop in Greenwood, Indiana. We had an appointment and when we arrived, we were told that the soon to be groom couldn't try on anything. All they did was put down the other tux shops around. The gentleman was extremely rude and beyond unhelpful. Save your time and money- go elsewhere! read more

First of all my son only needed a vest for prom. He bought a keepsake tie and rented a vest. They gave him the vest and tie and he looked fabulous. My son returned the vest as is the normal process, but he had bought the tie. When he returned it, they asked him for his tie, my son then explained that he bought the keepsake tie. They literally called him a liar. Yes, a grown adult accused my 18 year old son of lying. My son came out to the car and had me come in, where he then accused me of lying. They finally looked up his order and saw that we were not lying, and it was their mistake. They did not even apologize. Terrible service, not even willing to listen. I needed a Tux for a formal event. Normally I purchase my own suits and get them altered to fit me perfectly, so I was hesitant to get a rented tux. However, after looking at tux price tags and knowing I was only going to wear it every once in a while, I decided to take my chances on renting. I looked at Louie's selection online and found a tux I really liked. When I came in, I told the gentleman working which one I liked. He got me measured and the whole process took less then twenty minutes. If you're like me, getting measured and all of that isn't fun, but this was painless. I could have opted to put down a small deposit, but went ahead and paid the whole thing. A few days later, I was able to try on the tux. To my surprise, everything fit really well. The pants were not as slim fit as I normally wear, but that's just a personal preference. The jacket fit much better than I could have hoped. They let me take the tux home a day before the event, which was great because it meant I didn't have to rush around the day of the event to pick it up. The day after my event, I was tired, and Louie's graciously let me return the tux one day late free of charge. If I ever need a tux again, this is where I'll go. And if anyone asks, this is the place I'll recommend. read more

They are always at the bridal shows. They offer great deals if you give them a $10 deposit to let them know you are going to book your tuxes with them and you commit to 6 tuxes. The original Indianapolis area store is Castleton square mall and this one just opened recently is actually in a strip mall next to Petsmart so don't let the "greenwood mall" part of the title fool you. We put our deposit down and just recently went into this store to let them know we are know doing a destination wedding. Some tux stores let you keep the tuxes for a week. This one since they have to send back and forth to South Bend charges a full 150 for a 7 day rental or she suggested just paying the $20/day late fee per tux. Ugh that sucks as we'll be out of town for 7-10 days and then maybe going on honeymoon from there and most of the groomsmen live in a different state than where their stores are AND we need to rent 5-7 tuxes! read more

I got married on 4-16-16 and rented 13 tuxes. Some people came from out of town and still managed to have tuxes that fit them perfectly! I was very glad we went with Louie's tux shop! We had a few minor adjustments needed and the staff was very attentive and corrected everything in a very timely manor with no problems at all. I originally had gone to a much bigger name tux shop and waited around 30-45 minutes before even being helped, which I would understand if they were busy but most employees were folding clothes or talking. This did not happen at all at Louie's Tux Shop, you can definitely tell they strive to make sure every customer is happy! Every groomsman, father of the bride in my wedding party made comments of how quick and easy everything went. I even rented tuxes that were not even in store yet, they had just come out and the manager Casey made sure to keep in touch and notify me when things came in and were available to view.
