This restaurant was ok. The food was adequate and I have no complaints about the service, albeit neither were very memorable. If there was one stand out item, it would be the ambiance of the restaurant. The decor was modern and clean and the lighting is warm, making it a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. They did provide a complimentary cake for our friend's birthday which was nice. Would I come here again ? Yes, but only because it is on the Westlake Village Inn grounds, which is absolutely beautiful, and the location cannot be beat. read more

I come here every year for my birthday and get bottle service and a booth. I also come about twice a month Thursday and Saturday nights. The service is fabulous Tasha is the best server when you need bottle service, on Thursday night Eric and Tasha are your amazing bartenders. Great energy and the drinks are always how we love them. I don't even know where to start Louies is such a great place to come have drinks and relax. I've been coming to this bar for 10 plus years it use to be Bogies. This is definitely my go to spot it's just a chill spot. The inside bar and dance floor always gets crowded but everyone is just having a blast. The outside is also so nice the location is perfect you have a lot of seating and they also have reserved areas as well if ur going to have a private party. Service has always been good to me I go to the bar on the inside the bartender is awesome he is quick and makes great drinks. I'll be honest, love the ambiance here. It's classy and that's exactly why we came. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by an upsetting double standard. Multiple staff members approached me about wearing a dressy tank top, making me feel singled out and uncomfortable. At one point, people even pointed me out with a FLASHLIGHT if I took off my jacket while dancing because it was hot. Yes, you heard it right, a flashlight. Making everyone stare at me like a criminal. Meanwhile, my female friends were wearing spaghetti straps with no issue. When I asked why their outfits were allowed but mine wasn't, I was told I had to keep my jacket on or I'd have to leave. To be clear, I wasn't wearing anything sloppy...it was a sleek, all-black designer tank paired with jewelry. But apparently, if I threw on a random Walmart hoodie someone handed me, then it would be acceptable. That felt not only inconsistent, but also humiliating. I ended up looking worse! The food and vibe are worth coming for, but don't expect to enjoy the dance floor. Security was watching everyone's every move, which made the whole experience feel less like a fun night out and more like a chaperoned high school dance. We were having a great time at Louie's (once Bougies) until our party was kicked out for wearing baseball hats. We had been there for over an hour with no problems, ordering drinks for our group celebrating a birthday with over 10 people, until we were told we could no longer be there because two people were wearing baseball hats. We decided to all leave due to the ridiculousness of the request to 'check' the hats with security. Will not be returning to this establishment due to this situation, which I understand is ridiculous on our part too, but those silly restrictions just reverted paying customers. We booked with Club Louie's for my boyfriend's birthday party and had the most incredible time! We purchased the Capri for our group of 20. We were blown away by our experience - the Capri was so spacious, we basically got an entire corner of the club to ourselves. It was the best of both worlds because the dance floor was 5 steps away, so we could go dance then come back to our little oasis of food and drinks right outside of it. Usually at clubs the service can be lackluster, but our server was the BEST! She was so attentive and was always checking in to get more drink/ food orders in for our big party. Everything came out in a timely manner. The cocktails were strong, and the food was delicious! All of our guests were blown away at how good the food was. And the beauty of having the Capri was they had an entire table along the wall that held all the food and drinks so they didn't need to be crowding around the fire pits. The DJ was amazing on this Saturday night; the dance floor was so fun and lively. Everyone in our group had a blast, and my boyfriend said that this was the best birthday experience he has ever had at a club. We cannot wait to come back! read more

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, my husband and I drove an hour to go see the music show. We were seated at our reserved seats and waited for the server to come and take our drink and food order. He served everyone around us in his station and completely ignored us all night. The show ended and we were never served. Not even a glass of water. We will never be returning. read more

We made the mistake of having dinner at Louie's before a show on Sunday night. They opened at 5 pm. Not a good sign. We were the only ones in the dining room at 5 pm. There were 3 waitresses in the room. One was playing with her hair as she had nothing else to do. The Bartender had the other two waitresses dry the bar glasses without them washing their hands first. They were all very busy talking. We split a salad and when it came to the table there was a hair in it. We did not send it back, as we thought it would get worse. I asked two different people for oil and vinegar and it took 30 minutes for it to come out and the I had to ask for a spoon. Waiter said they only had soup spoons so that is what he brought me. Won't go back there for food, but the show was great. read more

Because we had tickets to the adjacent music venue we decided to have dinner at Louie's---big mistake. After waiting 15 minutes for a server we tracked one down to get menus and ask for water which began what was to be snail-like service from delivering drinks to bringing the check (and forgetting to return my credit card). EVERYTHING took too long other than bringing out the food. Clearly they were severely understaffed which wasn't the fault of the server and, had that been the only issue, I wouldn't have bothered to review them. But considering the upper end cost of the food (tasty but relatively expensive) and the insanely high price of the alcohol there is no reason to risk another visit. There's a perfectly lovely Chinese restaurant across the street with good service and reasonably priced food. Orange chicken ahoy! read more

Went in for a drink a bite to eat before dinner. One star for the overall look but the service and overall food and beverage is poor. We had one cocktail that was just juice and a splash of vodka for $19. The raw yellowtail was overpowered with a pound of micro cilantro. We had lower expectations going in knowing this site does not offer much in food and beverage. All that said it was not the big deal overall but the service was. The waitress offered us water but dropped off bottled water which we did not ask for and did she say the water was going be bottled. She never checked in on us and overall had little to no interaction with our table of 4. I hope they try to train the staff better at some point as the look of the place is nice. read more

Louie's is such a great community partner. They hosted Agoura High School's Football Moms night out, which was such a hit!! The ambiance was superb and so beautiful. Felt like we were in the Mediterranean. The service was excellent, food delicious and drinks on par!! Would highly recommend. Such a great space to grab dinner, cocktails or host an event. read more

Is the outside dining area for the entertainment venue at the Westlake Plaza Hotel. Very pleasant late afternoon setting for drinks and dining before a show. You should reserve a table about 90 minutes before a show since service can be a bit slow. Food was very good and parking was ample and free at the hotel. read more

I am disappointed and on the verge of shock at how bad this restaurant is. I've been a member of the Stonehouse wine club for over 15 years. Often went to bogey's before they made the change. They did a nice job on the decor and seem to have changed the menu enough so if there's a decent selection. The service was as bad as I've ever seen. Our server was a young girl who was very sweet and polite, but had never been trained properly and how to serve in a proper restaurant. From having to ask multiple times for wine, glasses, water, refills, and general lack of attention, we finally got our meals. There were eight of us dining and only seven meals came out. Three of us ordered the roast chicken and they only brought out 2 saying the chef was not happy with the portion size andwas remaking it 15 to 20 minutes later when we're completely done with our meal, they finally brought it out. We told him it was too late and please send it back to the kitchen. two people in our party, order the grilled cheese and tomato soup. They asked for to go containers and they could not find a container for the soup which normally could be taken out in a coffee cup with a lid on it, but they could not even find a box for the leftover grilled cheese. I have had friends who used to go to bogeys every Thursday night and tried to go back after they redid the space. They give up in frustration as the service and menu were both just awful. They tried again and the menu is better, but whoever is running this restaurant does not understand how to train their people. It was Friday night tonight and a beautiful evening and you could not find a place to sit in Stonehouse but this restaurant was half empty and it's easy to understand why . All I can say it was a sad experience we will not be back. read more

It's always a good time here! It was previously Bogie's and recently rebranded to Louie's. They gave the outdoor bar area a stylish upgrade that adds a fresh, modern vibe! They are now being sticklers about the cover charge at the door, which is annoying, but probably have to make up all the $$$ that went into the upgrades. The service is fine, everyone is nice and courteous and bartenders are good. Like any place, some bartenders are better than others but I've never had a bad drink. Food wise I've enjoyed some appetizers and they have all been good. Also, I would like to highlight the bathroom attendant in the ladies room, she is top notch! She's always so sweet, kind and her smile makes you feel welcomed. They have different themed nights as well - I enjoy Wednesday Salsa & Bachata nights, it's a scene. They have dance lessons that begin earlier at 6:30pm. The lessons are usually one hour of Salsa and one hour of Bachata. Everyone is there to have a great time, and as you rotate during the class, it helps everyone feel more relaxed -plus, the instructor is fantastic! I enjoy dancing, but I especially enjoy watching the great dancers that come from all over LA to really showcase their talents. I also enjoy Friday & Sat nights, it's just a bit more crowded. Although Saturday is my favorite, the music is a good mix of genres and the crowd is a mix of all ages. They do have a dress code so definitely check it out before heading out. All in all Louie's is a go to spot for my friends and I. We can always count on good drinks, ambience and a fun time! read more

I visited this establishment tonight to see a band I've known for a long time. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was good. The bands playing were beyond fantastic!! Unfortunately the service & demeanor of the male bartender was something I've never experienced before. Not once while I was sitting at the bar eating my meal did he acknowledge me & I think he preferred I wasnt there. No one else at the bar but 1 person. And yes I ordered a beer. Thank goodness the lady bartender served me He never said a word, acted like he'd rather be somewhere else. Honestly it was something I felt I needed to review here and I never review on Yelp. I used to come here when it was Bogie's and came back tonight for the first time since it has switched to check it out and I really love the redesign. Came in with a friend for dinner. Not sure what time they start charging, but we had a dinner reservation at 6:30 and did not have to pay any entrance fee. The menu is much better than the previous menu and offers a lot more options. We tried the deviled eggs and they were excellent some of the best deviled eggs I've had at a restaurant. We also had beet salads. I had mine with chicken. She had hers with steak. I'm usually not a fan of beets however, this salad is so good and refreshing on a hot Summer day.. We finished off with the peanut butter chocolate cake. It's homemade and delicious. I don't know why I didn't take any pictures of the food because it all came out presented so beautifully but it was such a gorgeous night out. I didn't have my phone out and I was just enjoying the sunset and the atmosphere. Definitely come out here on a summer evening and spend the night on the patio having a great dinner and drinks with some friends. Also the service is excellent. There was a very large party, taking up a couple of the cabanas and they were quite loud. Our table was very close to it. On June 17 th COVER CHARGE to order dinner! Avoid ! It is now called LOUIE'S They just opened this week! DO NOT GO HERE. It's a cash grab and will sadly fail. Once Bogies now called LOUIE'S will not stay in business long. We were staying next-door at the Hyatt and we're going to check into the Weslake inn the next day but after our experience at Louies, we decided not to check into the hotel. We just wanted a simple late meal as we missed the 930 kitchen closing next-door at Mediterraneo. We walked to Louise and asked to see a menu so we could have a quick meal. Charged us $25 entry charge just to order food off the menu. I was OK with that, but we were treated very poorly like we were trying to sneak into a club. we are 50+ years old, we just wanted something to eat. The security guard came over and was beyond rude. I explained we were checking into the hotel the next day. The management of MEDITORANIO recommended we walk next door to try the new restaurant. I paid the cover change so we could order dinner and spend money. Not just take up a seats in very EMPLTY restaurant trying to be a club. There was nothing on the menu. it took 15 minutes for a server to come over and take our order.. we just got up and left. The front desk and head security were so rude. Ruined our evening. read more
