Kermit and Alina were both extremely rude I went to order food and a drink and before I could even order anything they asked for my ID and as I pulled it out I asked a question about the beer and Kermit repeated without answering me at all in a very rude tone to show him my ID before he would even talk to me, I do it no problem saying I'm 26. I then ordered two drinks and he quickly said I could not order two without another ID and I said okay cool just one beer and he says who is it for? Obviously it's for me and he still questions me seeming like I'm buying it for someone else. My friend is younger and bought a beer for a friend who is also younger earlier no issue. Then the guys said I needed to calm down when I was just trying to order my food and even after this entire interaction Alina came up to our table and ask for everyone's Ids when only two people were drinking. They also got my nachos wrong I ordered pico on the side and they put it on all of them and the queso on them is nasty do not recommend.

I stopped in for a drink and small bite to getaway from a kid's birthday party across the way at Sky Zone. It was a Saturday afternoon and was not busy, despite having happy pricing on drinks. The bartender was kind and patient with my ordering, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the bar was comfortable and had good viewing of MLB baseball games[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the food and drink hit the spot. I had their Spicy Shrimp, but it was not very spicy. The dish was as good because bacon+shrimp+jalapeño is always good combination, but the sweet and spicy sauce was overpowering the whole dish. It would be better if the sauce was served on the side. But I am glad I tried it and would recommend for anyone wanting a small bite. It was nice to get away from the madness of Sky Zone and relax a little. Highly recommend this place if you want to watch sports and have a good drink.

Usually when you go to a sports bar, you just want big TVs and decent beer but this place actually has fantastic food, good wine, and a great selection of signature mixed drinks. Our wonderful server was able to do separate checks for our large party, and she kept our glasses refilled constantly despite the fact that the place was packed for the Super Bowl. They have a great deal on a bento with sushi, miso soup and edamame. My companion loved her chicken fingers and I loved the ahi tuna sashimi. Then everyone ordered the amazing warm brownie with ice cream, whipped cream and a very unique caramel sauce. The cabernet is tasty and the pours are large. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of TVs so everyone can see well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only caveat is this place is hard to find, so if you park by the Petco on one end or the Starbucks on the other, you have to make your way through the open mall area past the fountain and it's tucked away between the post office and the movie theater. Overall a fantastic place to watch any game!!!!

FOOTBALL & FRENCH TOAST I recently visited Sunset Terrace for their Sunday brunch, and it was the perfect blend of great food and a lively atmosphere to catch the football games. AMAZING French toast topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries--it was fluffy and just the right amount of sweet, crispy bacon, and the home-fried potatoes were the ideal sides! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar had multiple screens, making it easy to enjoy the games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my glass was always full! If you're looking for a spot to enjoy brunch and catch some football, local family-owned Sunset Terrace is definitely worth a visit!

This facility is open at 3pm until late night hours during the week.. weekend hours are different. They have a great happy hour with delicious sliders, grilled onions, pineapple slice with sweet potato FF! Let's goooo, so many drinks to choose from, full bar and almost 20 drafts to choose from! See pictures for details! Great prices, lots of TVs, great music playing, AC, pool tables, save tables for parties and can decorate!!! 15/10 place to go!

This was my first time coming to this city and i am so happy that we came here. I took my bf for his bday for ufc fight, and this was really a 1 stop type of bar. They have tv's everywhere, bowling alley on 1 side and pool tables on the bar side. It was pretty crowded on Saturday due to the Ufc fight, but Tyrone was awesome. He made sure our seats were in a perfect area. The booth we had was right in the middle where we could see the tv's. He also had great customer service skills. I enjoyed Sean, our waiter he made sure to get us taken care of as soon as we sat down. As for the food, i would say eas decent, but the drinks were on point. I would recommend the pizza , miso soup, and drinks. The pot stickers were a little too soggy.I believe that was due to the sweet chili sauce, and sushi were ok, but tbh this spot is 1 of my new fav spots to check out !

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

If you're going to hang your hat on the speakeasy aesthetic--dim lights, hushed tones, whispers of…read moreexclusivity--then understand this: you're entering into an unspoken pact with your patrons. We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.
