I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. The day I visited, Owner Kahm was there, with two of his adult children, Thana Vy "One" and Kilo. I recently visited for the first time and was beyond impressed with the wide variety of food items from all over the world. My plan was to stop in and take a few pictures, but I was there for over two hours, because there was so much to look at. The produce section includes items you won't find anywhere else. Much of the produce is grown locally by Kahm, on his farm in Kuna. Kahm kindly invited me to visit his farm next spring/summer. I can't wait! Kahm's future plans include offering cooking classes, and fresh made food. Thana's Little World Market is the best International market in Idaho. My husband and I decided to stop by here while we were staying in Boise last month. When we came in, we were greeted by the employee behind the register. We walked the narrow aisles, pushing our shopping cart, looking at everything. We ended up only purchasing dried squid for $3.29 (prior to tax). We opted for the non spicy version but there is also a spicy version for those that prefer the added kick. I have never seen dried squid come in long sheets like this before at the other Asian markets that I have gone to back at home in Los Angeles. The squid was good with a light sweet tomato flavor. It had a nice light chew as well. If I lived in this area, I would be back to purchase more snacks and drinks. I would probably also consider purchasing some of the frozen seafood too. I am no expert but I know this clam chowder is superb! Oh and that slice of bread? It was like a little crispy cloud of buttery goodness. I was only disappointed my husband wasn't there to share one of the seafood boils with. This would be a great date spot. One major tip if you go: save room for a slice of the brandy walnut cheesecake or get a slice to go. You will not regret it!!!
