WATCH OUT -- SCAM EXPERIENCE. I did a Louis Vuitton perfume refill at the Roosevelt Field location and my perfume literally does not last more than 5 minutes. It smells watery and completely different from the original fragrance. The refill process itself took almost 10 minutes even though I still had perfume left in the bottle. Something felt very off. I paid over $220 plus tax for this refill and it is complete garbage. No longevity at all. They also gave me only 2 tiny samples after spending all that money, and the customer service was horrible. Today I'm going to the Louis Vuitton/Bloomingdale's location in Manhattan to have them check what is going on because this does not feel normal at all. I'm reading these reviews (as well as The Yelp Duke of LV) , wow. I have a anniversary and I need to go big. I know what I want for my wife and I've been browsing to see what's available. I walk in the store and I'm greeted by John. I told him I'm looking for a classic bag for my wedding anniversary. He brings out two bags with a beautiful red interior liner. I said my wife is going to want the traditional liner but let's give her the final option. Not a problem sir, I'll order the traditional bag and when you come in, I'll show her all three bags. Now my sons are telling me to give her the gift the day of our anniversary. Nope. I know Mrs S and want her to make the final choice. John is texting me, the bag is in, see you Saturday. I take my wife out for lunch and then tell her I have a surprise. We walk into LV and meet with John. He shows all of the bags and guess what she picked? The classic interior. LV also offers a free monogram on the bag. My wife gave the bag back and we waited while they performed the branding. Another nice salesperson full of smiles comes to my wife and presents to her the final product. The end result? My wife is crying in the store. I told her, our oldest is getting married this year and it's our anniversary? Nothing but good times over the next few months so happy early anniversary. I'm a guy who bought my wife an anniversary gift. No one cares about the car I drive or where I live on Long Island. Free your mind from nonsense and focus on positivity. This LV boutique in particular is hands down my favorite! The CA's are just so kind, attentive & sweet. They don't rush you here compared to other LV locations and they actually follow up with you in regards to orders, items that they didn't have that are now available. Customer service is definitely amazing here. It makes the whole process of purchasing such pricey items so much more fun and relaxed! Hi Folks, I love the shopping experience that Louis V. provides its customers. There's not a lot of Louie V brick-and-mortar locations. I'm happy this one's nearby. This Louis Vuitton is located the Garden City Roosevelt Mall Just as you enter gound floor of Macy's, to the right. You better be sure that your credit card is with you. Just casually walking through the store with your wife can be costly. But that's okay, because you wouldn't be in Louie V. with your special someone unless wanted to treat them. Or perhaps, it's yourself that you want to get something special for. I was warmly greeted by Edwin the manager and his sales Staff as I walked in. This Louie V was really busy for the Holidays, but if I needed help it was available right away. Convenient shopping, as I looked for ideas for wife's purse. My wife spared no expense last year got me an insane Louis Vuitton gym bag. Nicest luggage I ever had, with the classic Louie V design, with a black strap and Chrome Hardware. Was so cool, too bad I can never take it to the gym, But it's usually over my shoulder when I check in to classy hotels. Louis Vuitton is the home of $2,000-$6,000 handbags and shoes. We had a lengthy conversation on my recent rating, how I felt about the review, circumstances surrounding the review and my general experience when visitng her store. I gave examples, and my honest feedback. The times I visited the store was always lacking in customer satisfaction. The store is well staffed but mostly empty, which creates a stale vibe and impression the advisors seem bored. However, I still continue to shop here and did so as recent as 2/11/18 (weekend before valentine's). This visit, the store was packed. CA Judith helped me with my purchase of an empriente papyrus piece. She was polite, courteous but eager to move on to the next customer leaving Sean to finish the sale with Omari overlooking even though I knew exactly what i wanted and showed her where to look for it. Omari is so friendly and happy, I like working with her but am not provided a choice CA to work with because it was busier than usual and it played out more on a first come first serve basis. Previous to this visit (maybe a week ago), I was looking for the Komonodots shawl (which Amanda ordered and informed me it would arrive in 2 days, and since my experience with special orders was a fail-6 month wait, i did not set my expectation to receive it) when I saw it online that night, I ordered it for overnight delivery. I have received the shawl i ordered, but lo and behold....Amanda told me on the phone call today that her reservation arrived. Surprised, and impressed. Did i mention my last special order took over 6 months and once it arrived, the store could not find it until numerous CA's got involved!? Although I already have the piece i was looking for, she did not hesitate to offer her continued assistance. She was polite, and i can hear the genuine tone and willingness to turn this client/advisor relationship into a fabulous and positive note. I want to say she is saving a red envelope packet for me on her desk, but that is not the reason why I am updating the review. I am giving 5 stars because she contacted me to represent her merchant and to provide follow up. It could not have been easy for her to reach out to me and discuss a 3 star rating, and it must not have been pleasant for her to hear me talk about how shopping with them made me feel less than enthused but I provided feedback and gave clear examples and she acknowledged and showed an eagerness to improve my shopping experience. I came here to purchase my 2nd Neverfull MM since my GM was too huge and made me look like a mother with such a huge bag omg. This LV store is located in Macy's, I Wales in and got down to business. Originally I was looking for a different interior color but it was sold out in the entire country so I got the Pivone interior which I'm super happy with. The service was good, not great since I already knew what I wanted and didn't need to beat around the bush... Wow. This was truly a horrible experience! I went to the store in the middle of March to order a pair of men's shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes they had in stock were damages and they represented that ordering another pair would not be an issue so I gave them my credit card information to proceed forward. I made sure that I was very clear with the salesperson that I needed the shoe for a Birthday gift by the 3rd of April. He reassured me that it was not a problem. I called last week to follow-up and they reassured me that the delivery will arrive on Friday, March 30, 2018. Of course that didn't happen. I called yesterday and spoke to someone who said that the shoes were never shipped. I told her to cancel my order I could never trust Louie Vuitton again. Indeed, she could not explain why the shoes were not sent and this caused me undue stress since I now do not have a birthday gift that I wanted. Terrible experience and customer service. Came in yesterday to purchase a cologne for Father's Day. Only to be given (unbeknown to me) a women's perfume instead of what I asked for. Associates mistake!!! Of course my dad opens it and smells a floral scent. Fine... no problem... let me head back into the store (mind you we live 30 mins drive away) and try and get them to swap it out for the CORRECT one we asked for. Store supervisor was absolutely awful and rude! Shrugging his shoulders and insinuating that I was lying about receiving the incorrect item. One of the associates was standing right next to him and clearly remembered giving us a WOMENS FRAGRANCE. He even said that the corporate headquarters advice was incorrect and she didn't "know what she was talking about". I have never been treated so poorly at Louis Vuitton. They have completely lost a customer here. If anyone from corporate is reading this... please take a look at who you are hiring and their training practices. I had my strap of my handbag repaired here. The strap was only a year old I purchased in Beverly Hills. I've never had such attitude or bad customer service at a luxury designer store before. The quality of their products have gone down yet prices are going higher so the least I expect is good customer service when I go to these stores. An rntrance for repair or pick up could be translated into a sale. They didn't want to help me because I wore sweats into the store but seriously shouldn't matter what the customer looks like if they have the money. The sales associates are rude and just look at you as commission so they don't even say hi to greet you or help. They assumed I was with this other Asian couple just because they were trying to cut us in line. I waited patiently for the sales associate to finish working on a transaction and when she was done she says you have to go wait in the middle of the store and someone will get you. After waiting I noticed sales associates were just helping customers at the counters where I originally patiently waited. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Went in there and purchased 2 Neverfull MM for myself and my mom. Decided I didn't want mine and wanted to exchange it for the Montsouris PM. So I get there and start the exchange. My mom was nice enough to use her credit card to pay the difference between to 2 bags. So now I used my credit card and my moms card. Got home and didn't like the bag. Went back the next day to return the bag. Doing the return and they tell me they can't refund 2 different cards only 1. WTF!!! So now they tell me they can only refund all the money on 1 card not 2. To say I'm pissed is an under statement. I was very nasty to the salesperson and wanted to speak to a manager she said she was the manager. And this is Macys policy. WTF!! Never in my life have I heard this bull. I've been to this LV store several times and each one of my experiences have been the same. The sales rep here are not only rude but arrogant and discriminative. The one and only time I was actually immediately approached by a sales rep was when I shopping after work and I still had on my three piece suit. If the sales reps don't feel like you're a potential sale they won't bother with you. I've gotten little to no service here whenever I was dressed in regular jeans topped with a plain hooded sweatshirt. I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience here. My girlfriend recently went in to purchase a wallet and was completely ignored for the first ten minutes. Giving the sales rep the benefit of the doubt, she decided to wait and see what would happen. A sales rep appeared from the storage room and instead of helping her, she ran right to the door and started servicing a couple (of another race) even though she clearly saw my girlfriend sitting on the couch. She brushed it off and decided to wait a bit longer. AFTER completing the sale with the couple, the sales rep decided to have a little chit chat with her coworker and left my gf waiting on the couch for another 15 minutes until she got fed up and decided to say something. The rep responded with a sarcastic and forced "Sorry! I didn't know you were waiting!!" Of course she's waiting. She's only been sitting there for close to half an hour. -_- I know the store is conveniently located in Roosvelt Field mall but I'd recommend you avoid this store if you can manage to get into the city or the Americana Mall in Manhasset. read more

By far the worst LV store I've been. My wife purchased an on the go about a year ago and it was only used twice. The bag is now smelling like rotten leather and we took it to this store to see any solution that they could offer. Unfortunately, they said they couldn't do anything about it. After coming in today to exchange a boot I purchase more than 30 days ago yes (but the boot was still very much so BRAND NEW). I dealt with a very obnoxious, rude and condescending man named Eddie (who claim to be one of the managers). I explained the situation on wanting to exchange my boots because they were too big. Eddie gave me dirty looks the whole time I was in the store, to then tell me I couldn't exchange my boots because they were worn. I clearly pointed out there was absolutely no indication the boot was worn. He then changed his mind and said it was too late because it was pass the 30 day policy. To start off, this review is my honest horrible experience with AMANDA and the entire staff at Louis Vuitton Garden City Roosevelt Field Macy's location. LIZ also added to my unpleasant experience. After owning my pochette metis for a short 2 months, with gentle use mostly on weekends, the wax on the edge of the shoulder strap started to peel off. I was shocked and upset since i'm gentle with my items, especially high end "luxury" ones. I went in to LV and explained to AMANDA the issue and she said it's no problems & that this style bag has been having these problems and she will put in a complimentary replacement strap order free of charge. I asked for a confirmation receipt or paper, and she guaranteed i did not need one, just my name/last name. I asked one last time and she said not to worry. I took her word for it. She mentioned 6-8 weeks, and honestly, i wasn't in such a rush that i did not call or bug anyone, thinking i would get an update eventually. (that was Nov 2017) Months pass & having not heard from them, i stopped by confident that they just forgot to call me since it was already March 2018. I asked the first available associate and she said she can't locate any order in the system with my name. As she way saying this, i saw AMANDA walk out. When i explained to her, she also looked like a deer in headlights. She could not explain to me why the order "she placed" was not coming up. Now that i think about it, i wish i didn't stay so calm and act so kind. Others would have caused a scene. I calmly waited for her to place me another complimentary order. This time i demanded a receipt. No sorry, nothing. Weeks later i decided to call and see what the update was... and this is when everything hit the fan. I looked at the receipt she gave me and it showed $210.00 charge that was NEVER mentioned to me. I wanted to speak with her to clear this up since it was complimentary. I have screen shots (proof) that i tried to get in contact with AMANDA 24 times. Every time i called the store, different employees told me AMANDA will call me right back, i called from morning to evening, spoke to a minimum of 5 different people (one name i can remember is George). HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU GET 24 CALLS TO A STORE AND CAN'T CALL BACK???? I ended up in disbelief calling a customer service line that got in contact with (a manager?) named ROSA who guaranteed AMANDA would call me. N E V E R H A P P E N E D. Weeks went by and some other employee called to say my strap is finally ready. I went in, and had the displeasure of meeting LIZ. She brings the strap and tells me my total it $210.00 (HAHA) i told her i'm not paying a penny and tried to quickly explain my situation... instead of her saying Sorry for your experience... ANYTHING they teach people working sales, ESPECIALLY high end luxury companies. If someone is paying $$$$ for handbags, we expect and deserve to have a pleasant experience and top of the line customer service, especially with simple requests such as these. In the end, i hope people like AMANDA and the rest of the staff gets contacted from someone higher up and is given a lesson in basic customer service and general common sense. My customer service experience was phenomenal. Within seconds of arriving at the store, Eddie came to assist me. I knew exactly which bag I wanted, I just didn't know if I wanted it in a medium or large. Eddie show me both bags and helped me pick the perfect size to match my tiny frame. He asked me if I wanted to get my bag personalized with my initials (for freeeeeee) and also helped pick out a color to match my bag. While I waited for my bag to be ready, he gave me a bottle of water and we chatted a little. My shopping experience was quick and delightful. I'm a 20 year old Latina girl and I wasn't treated rudely at all. I def will be shopping here again and I'm def going to be shopping with the help of Eddie again. read more

Upon arrival I wasn't tended to immediately. It took a while to get assistance (though several workers made eye contact and said hello). I eventually walked up to someone and asked for help and she kindly assisted. I knew the item I wanted to purchase and so she showed me the item as well as one I was unsure about. My children were with me, and a bit rowdy that day, but she was kind and didn't make me feel as though they were a problem (though I was very embarrassed). She asked questions and offered information about which type of item would best suit my needs and which item would be more durable. Upon arriving home, I noticed something on the item I purchased. The person on the phone was kind and told me to bring it in. Upon return to the store, one associate was kind while another looked bothered by my seemingly unimportant questions. The associate helping me explained what was wrong, cleaned the item and was kind enough to show me some other items I didn't get a chance to look at on the day my children were with me. This LV store is really laid back. The staff is less haughty and uptight when compared to the 5th ave flagship. The staff is really nice and helpful. Lets just say, Howard is so cool; I would be glad to run into him, sporting my LV clutch, in a club. The selection here is suitable, nothing to complain about. The crowd is far more manageable than the 5th Ave flagship. Since it is a tad laid back.... dont really expect to be served champagne whilst shopping. read more

ED or EDWIN is by far the most horrible manager I've ever come in contact with! I've had better service from teenage McDonald's workers. Maybe he should get some basic training on how to properly speak to customers from them! He refused to make an exchange for me although my neverfull bag was in mint condition and within the exchange policy date. The way he spoke to me was rude and condescending. He said he didn't want to touch the bottom of my bag because it was dirty and had a black mark. It was a lint that had fallen inside and when I showed him that he pointed to the edge of the bag with his pinky finger, " oh, well there's this scuff mark". It wasn't a scuff, it was a fold. He simply did not want to assist me. He told me if I wanted to exchange it I had to go to Macy's herald square where it was originally purchased and that they wouldn't take it because it's damaged. I knew it was brand new so I went to Macy's herald square( from LI!!) and guess what! They exchanged it right away without a problem! If ED were doing his job correctly then I wouldn't have been able to exchange it at any LV store because I know it's a strict policy, as it should be. However, this ED guy can't distinguish between what's used and brand new! Maybe he should take his pinky's and rub his eyes with them to help him see better. Went in to buy a wallet and got off to a good start. Marianne (Mary Anne?) assisted me and was a sweetheart. I wanted to get my wallet monogrammed and she said it'd take about an hour. She specifically said that someone would call me as soon as it was ready. 90 minutes passed, no call. Went back and sat in the store for an additional 10 minutes before I approached a sales rep. I politely - emphasis on politely - inquired if my wallet was ready as I hadn't received a call and she replied, in the most condescending tone, "we don't call people here...if you don't come to us then we can't help you." Completely ruined my mood. I got my item, said nothing, and walked out. To be clear, it was a Hispanic-looking woman with curly hair, maybe in her late 30s. Terrible person. The worst customer service ever! The staff is horrible! I walked in wearing sneakers, jeans and a sweater and did not receive anyone willing to help me. While I was looking at the bag I was interested in, an employee walked up to me, asked me if I was interested. I said yes. I asked how much this particular bag was. I was told, "Most likely it will be out of your range." I looked at the employee with disgust. Excuse me? "Most likely it will be out of your range." I could not believe that an employee would say that to me. I stood there for a a full minute staring at the staff member unbelieving that I was just insulted with that statement. Until recently, my experiences at this LV had really gone downhill. The service as downright rude and I felt very uncomfortable. However, my last two experiences have been beyond positive. This location is great when you have gift cards for Macy's since this location is within Macy's and can accept Macy's GCs as payment. The store employees are awful. They are hawking bags and not curing cancer. This needs to be instilled during customer training. I own 8 bags/luggage. I only bought one in this location and even called LV customer care after it was that bad today. I suspect in this location they decide if you are "worth" assisting. Here is the secret. I buy the bags online now and no horrible sales person necessary. Being condescending while selling merchandize is a bad habit. I love the Boston store the best. Manhasset store and one in Huntington mall are just fine in terms of customer service, but this Garden City location needs to go. I purchased a belt. However the person that helped me was borderline rude. He greeted me with what do you do for a living. As if to say I shouldn't be in LV store. He was rude and I honestly wanted someone else to get my business. He only asked if I wanted water as my transaction went through and I said hello to the manager since he had helped me before. Had it not been so busy in there and I wanting the belt before tomorrow I think I would have waited. His customer service sucked for it to be such a high end store. You don't want to deal with people then stay out of customer service. Seriously disappointed with the service but I got my belt :/ read more

I normally don't write reviews but I felt like I had to since there were so many negative comments from previous yelpers visits, and I was so hesitant to come to this location. I went to the LV store in Roosevelt Field today to purchase a new bag. I had to wait 5 minutes for a sales associate which was not a big deal. When Maryann came to help me she made my shopping experience wonderful. She was very sweet and answered all of my questions and didn't rush me. I left my receipt at the store and she called my cell phone to let me know. She was a pleasure to deal with! read more

this store sucks. i go in with a friend, no one says hi and later the security guard (more helpful than the SA'S) tells us to stand somewhere and the next available person will help us. so someone comes, but it seemed like she just wanted to get us out of there and asked what i was looking for, so i told her the speedy 35 damier azur... asked if i wanted the straps and i said just a regular one. while she was helping, i asked a few questions about the luggage tag and she had no idea what i was talking about... i just sort of stopped talking. she then says... "oh we might have a few..." and doesn't even finish her sentence and she just starts ringing me up. she then gives me the bag without the box! i asked her where the box was, and she says "our store is going green". she just didn't want to go in the back to box it up. wtheck. i told her to box it up and told her that i've never had to tell someone at louis vuitton to box up my bag. i don't need this type of crappy service and will never go back. at least i got the bag but it killed the mood and i was pretty unhappy. if you live in nyc, please visit other stores. i've never been to a store like this! read more

I already knew which bag I wanted to purchase so I walked over to where I saw it behind the counter. A sales associate was behind the counter helping someone else but as soon as he was done, he asked if I needed help. I asked him about the bag that I wanted and he went to take it out to show it to me. He was extremely helpful and let me analyze the bag while he stepped away for a bit. While I was looking at the bag, I decided to put it on my shoulder and look at the mirror. I did not move from my spot but as soon as I tried the bag on, the nearest security guard walked towards the exit that was closest to me. It was completely obvious he thought I was planning to run away with the bag. I wanted to tell him, "I have plenty of cash in my purse to purchase the bag and NO I won't be stealing it!", but I held my tongue for reasons I still do not know. The security guard continued to stay by that exit and walked back and forth around me until he saw me speak to a sales associate about purchasing it. He moved back to his original spot after I paid for my bag. Overall, it was a 4 star experience. I would have easily given it 5 stars had the security guard not made me feel like a potential thief. The sales associates were extremely nice and helpful but the security guard near me needed a bit more training on customer service. I didn't appreciate him thinking I was going to steal. I work hard for my money and walked into Louis Vuitton to clearly purchase my bag. read more
