Everything is self-serve with open stock shelves under each sample model. Women's shoes are on the main level when you enter and men's & children's shoes are on the upper level, along with the clearance section. Just ride the escalator up. There are not a lot of floor sales associates around, so you're mostly on your own to try on anything you like. I got a great pair of Skechers casual slip-ons for work. I never liked Skechers at other stores before because they never had the right size or were a bad fit, but I was surprised when DSW had my size & width. This pair is a perfect fit and gives a bouncy spring to my step! My wife went bananas and bought 3 pairs of casual sneakers in both canvas and leather, plus a pair of winter boots, since they were BOGO 1/2 off. At the register, the associate offered us shoe treatment on the boots to coat with stain-resistant/waterproofing for $8.99, but also gave us a discount on the boots that covered the treatment. She stuck the boots in a machine and was done in a few seconds. That was some good service!

We had first stopped at another orthotics shoe store that didn't carry any rockers. My son then remembered Eneslow, where my niece had previously purchased her shoes and was extremely happy with them. She actually wore her new pair when we went back, which says it all! When we arrived, we were fortunate to meet Raul again. He had helped my niece before, and once again he was so patient, helpful, and friendly. He really knows his products and immediately understood the type of rocker shoe I was looking for. He took his time with us, answered all our questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the choices. Raul was just as attentive and helpful with my niece as well, which we truly appreciated. To make the day even more special, my son surprised me by buying two pairs for Valentine's Day. It was truly such a thoughtful Valentine's surprise and very much needed! I absolutely love my shoes. I love to engage sales associate to see what level they are on. There's levels to sales and there's a developed skill for persuasion for closing a sales/getting a customer to buy or walk out empty handed or to make an actual purchase, one or more shoes. Sometimes it's the customer that knows whether they are buying or walking. Let me explain, briefly! A cordial greeting and offering assistance is key. You have to break the ice. I used to work for Bostonian/ Clark and Bakers Shoes. They had beautiful boots for women. Anyway- I greeted and broke the ice. The person said that they didn't have money to buy. Reading the potential customer - they were staring at the boots for about 5 minutes. I told her, it doesn't cost money to try on a pair of boots. Conclusion, she waked out, boots in hand. Commission sales mind you! On today 1/28/26 one sales rep greeted and broke the ice but did a relay to his associate. So I picked out the shoes that wanted to try. Levels - the customer comes in with one shoe in mind the sales rep should bring other styles close to desired shoe or another color. So I picked the shoes and made his job easy, very easy. One thing he did that I loved, he serviced me giving undivided attention and assisted me with putting on casual socks and help me put on the shoes. I had dress socks on and it gives a different fit. CONCLUSIONS-I walked out with multiple boots in hand. I basically sold myself the boots and scored $10 percent off. There are areas of improvements - if you greet the customer, seat the customer don't pass them off to someone else. Pro tip- aleays ask if there's a promotional sale. In my case. The promo was advertised. I'm a happy camper today willing to.... Inspire more, Yelp more!

I noticed a lot of the women's shoes that are on the shelves as of July 2026 are made of man made leather and not many leather options. I know it depends on the time of year but I found this to be quite disappointing especially when a lot of the shoes are $49 and up. With any Nordstrom Rack the inventory can change weekly. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. Please note this location is on the second floor and an escalator or elevator is offered to arrive on the second level.
