Absolutely awful service. Tried to return a brand-new LV item (purchased from the 57th St flagship) at the Riverside boutique due to fit. The associate, Namni, immediately claimed it had "makeup stains," even though the faint mark wiped right off in front of her. She refused to process the return and repeatedly told me to go back to the flagship, without checking with a manager or offering any real help. After 30+ LV stores globally, this was the single worst experience. Condescending, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in customer service. I felt brushed off simply because I wasn't making a purchase. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location. read more

Fabulous meeting Dominque here today! The entire staff welcomed us upon entering and ensured I was quickly attended to. She graciously helped me by listening and inquiring what my preferences were. We went over many items and not once did she pressure me or make me feel I was not worth her time. She offered my father water numerous times as he sat and I shopped around for a gift. My experience at this store was completely uh-mazing all thanks to the stellar work of one of their fabulous retail associates CAROLINE! It was my first time ever purchasing from the LV store and I decided to go to this specific location, just out of pure curiosity. I don't regret it one bit! Caroline did such a great job handling my transaction and even took steps to go above and beyond to assure I came out with everything I wanted and more! Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Caroline made it possible for me to get a very limited rerelease of a specific handbag (soon to be discontinued btw.) By placing me on a waitlist and withholding my information to complete the purchase as soon as it hit the store! She sent me a text and informed me that the store had received 2 bags and I got lucky! Went in to do a little bit of early holiday shopping on myself. The shopping went smoothly, I knew exactly what I wanted, both were in stock, I was in a bit of a rush but was happy that the hand bags I wanted were available and I was able to get them without any problems. Whenever I've head to this particular Louis Vuitton I've always received excellent customer service and friendly, helpful advice ... no one has ever been pushy or overbearing and if an item isn't available in my size ... a pair of cute flats etc, they're always quick to offer to order them in for me. MUCH better from a service perspective than the Garden State Plaza store, which is usually chaotic and filled with obnoxious staff. I recommend asking for Roxanne if you happen to go in there, she is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Definitely a fan. read more

I purchased an LV tote from another store (out of state) as a surprise for my wife. My wife wanted to exchange it for a larger tote, but when we asked to exchange, the sales associate claimed the bag was used and damaged. I failed to appreciate any amount of damage in the purse, as it was LITERALLY brand new. I asked to speak to the operations manager, Kimberly Thurman-Rivera who was equally unhelpful and told me I needed to take it up with the out-of-state LV store and there was nothing they could do for me as the tote had"signs of wear." My wife and I were made to feel like criminals for attempting to exchange what was, in fact, a brand new LV tote and this one store successfully turned what should have been a pleasurable experience into a nightmare. We subsequently went to a different LV store where we were treated properly and successfully exchanged the tote without any drama. If you are looking for an LV store with some customer service, don't go to this location. Yes, the store was following a strict return policy, but this is not how you treat customers and they should have accepted the return and worked things it with the out of state store without putting the burden on the customer. read more

Hi ordered the fetish pump for my mom as a gift online and used the pick up in store option to this store. I picked up the shoes about five days after they were ready to be picked up due to my busy schedule and that made it all together 10 days since the purchase. When I arrived at the store the shoes were ready in a box nicely wrapped in a blue ribbon. So I just took the box as is and left. One week later it was my mom's birthday so I gave her the shoes and she opened the box. The shoes were beautiful except that they were all scratched up at the bottom as if someone worn them or at least had tried on a few times. It was embarrassing as it was her birthday and it was a gift for her. When I called the LV store , they simply said they couldn't do anything about it as it was past 14 days already. Went to this store yesterday - a day before Mother's day, to buy a bag for my mom. There was a very friendly associate Eunice who greeted us and showed us the bags we wanted to look at and explained everything. We were torn between two final options and decided to give our choice some thought and came back about around 6pm ready to buy. We looked around for Eunice, but she had left for the day and then a male bearded salesperson who did not introduce himself said he could help us buy our bag (he wasn't wearing a a name tag). This person was very impatient and distracted as he showed us the bags, almost as if we were an annoyance. When we finally chose a bag to buy, he said he would get us a new one. He went to get the bag, came back empty-handed and then without a word began to pack the piece he was showing us. When I asked him what he was doing, he said we had to take that as there were no more available. I said there was no way we were taking what was essentially a floor sample. He looked up annoyed and rudely said "come back next week then". No apology or explanation for not having a new piece and illegally trying to sell us an expensive bag that had been touched by so many. I will be writing to LV corporate on this matter. read more

This is by far the worst store ever. Stay away from them. The rep (Fatima) will never return calls. If you have an issue with the bag, just throw it out. I have sent it a bag for repairs. They did not have the parts and there was no eta on the repair date neither a ETA on when the parts will become available. It was a $4000 bag. This is the last time I will every buy an LV Bag. For the price that you paid, you can buy 15 fake ones that will last much longer and if it does not, throw it out and buy another fake one as it will not cost you $4000. Buyer beware. read more

I went in-store on 12/8 to purchase a bag as a Christmas gift to find out the one they had on hold for me was damaged; they ordered me a new one which I was assured would arrive to me w/ in 3-5 business days. It's now 12/19 my bag is in limbo; no store can locate it or track it but rest assured my money was taken and even better, I can't cancel the order. I have to wait for whenever the bag decides to pop up and get delivered and only then can I have my order refunded. This is ridiculous. The only help they were able to provide... buy a second bag, and whenever the original shows up- return it! The manager Stacey was very rude and confrontational to my wife and threatened to call the mall cops for trespassing when she tried to return her items at the store after this clear case of preferential treatment to another client. In an attempt to exchange the bracelet for another size, I was told the bracelet was damaged. The bracelet was unworn and most definitely sold to me that way. I, like another reviewer , didn't examine the piece of jewelry with a fine tooth comb. So buyers beware--take a magnifying glass and examine every inch of what you are purchasing . Phenomenal service! After looking in vain for a Damier Speedy 35 at Garden State Plaza, a friend and I decided to try Saks in the Riverside Square Mall. Well, we got to the LV store before we got to Saks, so we stopped in. I'm so glad we did! Roxanne is the best! I already knew what I wanted (though I was still trying to decide between the Damier and the monogram), but she let me try both in the mirror, to see how they looked. She even gave me her suggestion (the Damier), which is what I ended up getting. I've only ever bought Louis Vuitton from Neiman Marcus, and the salespeople there have always been snooty. I can't even explain the disrespect and humiliation this so called "manager" put me through. My fiancé got me a Neverfull MM for my birthday. He got it for me on a Saturday and I didn't receive it and open it till Monday. I was so excited i put something in it of course that wouldn't ruin it because the inside was a light pink. When I looked into the inside moments later I noticed two grey marks almost like a defect on the exact same spot on both sides of the bag in the inside. I brought it straight to Riverside LV and explained everything to this "manager" and I was being extremely nice because of course I just wanted it either removed or exchanged not a refund. He right off the bat told me to stop having an attitude or he would throw me out. I was so confused and I explained to the man that I am just trying to figure this out because this shouldn't happen and if he could just try to clean it perhaps that could work. He claimed it was dust took it to the back to "clean" it. He came back with this horrible demeanor. He insisted I used it. I explained I had just opened it that day. He told me there was a piece of plastic in the inside which shows I used it. I explained I put just a couple things inside and noticed the mark. He told me I made the mark and he refused to help me. I asked him if he could let me speak with the manager because he was no help and was just completely rude. He told me "I am the manager and there's no one above me" so I said I would call customer service. He tells me to go ahead he's best friends with everyone at client services. Unbelievable. So I remove the plastic from the bag and dial client services. He told me all "30" cameras in the store saw me remove my "personal items". So I'm on hold and I notice in my hand we're two tags included with the plastic so I Placed the tags on the counter and said These are actually tags not my "personal items". He then Got so nasty and said I slammed them down and told me to leave the store right away and he will not deal with me. He made me feel like a criminal I was so embarrassed and humiliated. I asked the security guard if he saw me "slam" the tags down he told me he didn't pay attention. If you're security and I was the only one in the store you would notice especially if I am 4 feet from you and your "manager" was so upset. After I left I was in tears with client services she couldn't believe what I dealt with and informed me he was not even the manager!! They are handling how I was treated. I finally went to Short hills with my fiancé's mother and exchanged it with absolutely no problem and the real store manager Stacey (absolutely kind and sweet) couldn't believe what I had gone through. NEVER GO TO RIVERSIDE LOUIS VUITTON IN HACKENSACK. AVOID AVOID AVOID. If you read other reviews here you will see very similar stories. Went to Riversides Louis Vuitton to return a 2,500 dollar bag that was bought the day before and workers Caroline said the bag couldn't be returned because a piece of plastic was taken off of zipper. Mind you this same worker told my mom to take off the plastic b/c it will melt since it's so hot out. Very snobby non courteous sales reps except for the Asian reps. I have walked in here 3 times and they look you up and down to see if you seem like you have money then don't even say hello if they think you don't. Funny thing is my wife and I make close to 500k a year. I usually go into these high end designer stores in sweatpants and a tee shirt because i feel confident in myself not to have to dress up like I'm going to a fashion show to buy stuff at the mall.
