This is a huge LV store located on second floor of Pioneer Place. They have so many variety of products in this store including their iconic bags, luggages, suitcases, apparels, shoes, sunglasses, and some more. Throughout the store there's beautiful interior and art work. Love the warm lighting matching the shelves and display racks. There were multiple spots to sit and rest while shopping at the store. We went to the store to check on the bags. The staff members were very friendly. One of them who was designated to assist us, showed us many different variations. Unfortunately the one we liked, they only had the floor model version available and it had few scratches, so we couldn't buy it. The associate tried to convince us to get it but we politely declined. We had placed an order online for a purse with the pickup in Portland. We weren't sure if our schedule would allow for a pickup. This LV store was the perfect place for retail therapy after my wife's trip and fall accident. Picking up her purse brought joy to her. This LV is the only one located in a NOMAD sales tax free state. Yes, if you don't want to pay sales tax, you can either come here, or you can order it online and have it shipped to their store where you have to pick it up within a certain number of days. If you don't pick it up, they cancel the sale. What's more to be said? It is retail therapy at its best. read more

Went into this brick and mortar to exchange an item purchased online. The store was very well lit, polished and had almost no shoppers believe only 1 person came in when I was there). There were quite a few sales representatives working. When I walked in no one greeted me which I thought was a little off putting. I walked up to 2 associates in a conversation and they barely looked at me. I mentioned I was there for an exchange and the guy said he doesn't do that. Then he mentioned another person could help me with that instead. It's all about you present things so I personally felt like saying something along the lines of "We have a dedicated team member that can help you with exchange." Would have been a nicer and more professional way to interact with a customer. When someone spends quite a bit of $$$$ on an item you would think being a little more warm, friendly or personable wouldn't be that much to ask. The sales associate that did help with the exchange was nice. The exchange was easy with me paying the difference for the larger purse. She did offer me validation, but I parked in a different parking lot and they only validate with Smart Park. Overall I would prefer to shop online and avoid going into this store. read more

The first lady who was assisting me and my wife was cool, the one who lived in Maui for a bit. She was nice. The other sales associate who finalized our sale, however, was pretty snarky to us. We're not new to buying luxury, so we specifically asked for a new wallet, not the floor model, as we both noticed some sort irregular scratch/marking in the wallet we were being shown. So when it came time for the sale, we asked for a new wallet, and the sales associate said she'd get us a new wallet. She came back with a wrapped up box and we thought nothing of it. When we got home, my wife opened the box and lo and behold, it's the scratched floor model wallet. Talk about a disappointment for what should be a special experience. Not only were we not listened to, but the associate didn't even double check the product before wrapping it up and gave us damaged goods. So not only did we get a bad product, we had to take time out of our day to go back to return it. At that point, nothing could have fixed the experience. So the only reason this location is getting two stars is because a new sales associate (or manager, not sure) made our return very seamless and hassle free, and was accepting of the return easily. My mission at the Portland, OR store yesterday was to learn repair options for a 50 year old LV purse which will be passed on to a passionate, 16 year old Louis Vuitton aficionado. While the price of fixing the purse via LV was prohibitive, Team Lead, AC, as well as a couple of other associates greeted me graciously and offered solutions to bring back the finish of this bag. In fact, AC took it to the "back" and cleaned the body of it with their special lotion, returning it with renewed luster in a cloth Louis Vuitton bag, no charge. What a lovely gift to share with the young lady who will soon receive it. That level of customer service was truly outstanding and I tip my hat to the company & crew working there. Yes, I get some of the appeal now: the penultimate customer service experience, as well as a bag whose 50 year old finish was returned to looking-like-new finish in moments. I would not recommend this specific LV store. I had an issue with an item's quality shortly after buying it from this store. I went into the store for help. First, one of the employees accused me of not caring for the item properly. I explained that I had the item for a short period and I had not experienced this issue before and that I did not do anything to the item. He called another employee over to help me. The second employee was somewhat helpful assisting me with the return, and she gave me a gift card but the card could only be used at this store. She assured me that I can get a replacement for the exact same price, but said I should go home to think about it just in case I wanted to buy something else with the gift card. When I returned to get an exact replacement the price had increased so I explained the situation and asked to pay the exact same price as before as it would be an exact replacement since I was assured it would be the exact same price. Apparently, this store is hurting for an insignificant amount of money. I paid the difference in price because the gift card that was only redeemable at this store was worthless to me. I did not want to spend any more money at this specific LV. I understand that prices need to increase overtime, but given the situation and representations made by this store's employee, this store should have made me whole instead of charging more money for the exact same item. I got bought a purse for 1500$ and it got ruined a little because i was in the sun I would expect a better quality

I recently made an appointment to have an older bag refreshed with new leather straps to look new again. I brought in my bag and the small clutch that goes with the bag for all the leather straps to be replaced. I was quoted $1070 for both items, and they said they would clean up the bag to look "fresh and new"- her words not mine. They called me 3-4 weeks later to let me know that my bag was ready. I came to collect my bag and noticed the leather straps on the clutch were not done and the bag was not cleaned. I expressed this to the sales associate, but she could not careless. She just told me that they don't do cleanings and that they do not replace the leather straps on the clutches.......then why did the first girl even take my clutch for 3-4 weeks? She then told me that it would be another $380 to replace the entire clutch if I wanted that done. I said no thank you and she then she proceeded to take $380 off my total of $1070 making my total $690- why not just replace the clutch? This makes no sense whatsoever so when I asked her this, she just got ruder and ruder. I will not be back here. LV DO BETTER- train your employees better- something. read more

Shorter wait time and larger selection than Seattle locations. You can just wait in line and they don't make you put your name down on an iPad then have you come back in 1-2 hours later. The employees I encountered were friendly. I only needed 1 free parking pass but the guy that helped me gave me 2. However, I got played by them as they would do anything for sales. I was interested in a wallet in a limited edition color but I noticed there was a crack in the glazing. The sales guy told me it was the last one in the store. He then checked the computer and said it was the last one in the whole country and not orderable. He didn't think the crack was a quality issue and took it to the back. Then the manager came out and said they don't think the item is defective as it is NORMAL for handmade leather goods, so no discount. I didn't believe them at all but since it was the last one available and I was going out of town so I bought it. The salesman said no warranty but if the crack gets bigger he can take care of it in a year. He then said something like please give him a 10 star review in the survey even if it might not be true. I didn't use the wallet at all and took it to a different LV store for a second opinion 2 weeks later. The salesperson there said the crack is not normal and must be from my improper use like putting it in my back pocket (which I never did). Impeccable customer service, beautifully styled store, and excellent selection, for Portland! As I entered the shop, feeling a bit awkward since I came straight from the gym, and looked it, I wasn't sure if any of the 2 dozen sales associates would even approach me. Wrong. Immediately I was welcomed and asked if I needed assistance. I said no because I was on a mission to find a "cat" accessory for a purse. No! I didn't want to buy one. LOL. I actually received one as a gift and wanted to see if they carried the inventory so I could inquire about an exchange. When I couldn't find it on my own, I accepted an offer of assistance from a different sales associate, Reed. When I told her about the "gag" gift my friend bought me because I have two real cats, and she considers that a "crazy cat lady," we both laughed at the absurdity and the super expensive gift meant to be a joke! Reed explained that she would need to see the cat accessory to ensure it was perfect, like new, and if it was, she would happily do an exchange. Turns out my "cat" was part of a series that has since sold out. She was quite sure it would sell quickly. As the saying goes, "one person's trash is another's treasure." Go figure. For the size, it is completely functional having a slot for unfolded bills, 6 slots for credit cards and a coin purse. All in a tiny 3x4 footprint. I was in love! Then the practical side kicked in. It's been several years since I carried a wallet. My smartphone case has slots for my credit card and license, which is all I need. So I decided to look at the sunglasses, which to put it into perspective, I covet designer shades the way most women adore shoes. Quickly I selected a few pairs, and narrowed it down to two, knowing what shapes and styles work best for me. Reed brought me a black version of the tortoise shell glasses that were my favorite, and immediately I knew these were the ones. Never once did Reed try to upsell me; she was there, like a supportive friend, helping me narrow down choices so I left with an exchange that made me happy. The sunglasses were more expensive than the return, so I paid the difference and came home with a much better gift! Texting my friend during the process to show my appreciation. Reed even wrapped the sunglasses so it really felt like a gift. My new, and only, Louis Vitton shades are chic and stylish, can be worn when I am dressed up or when I'm wearing yoga pants. I spent $2100 on a Neverfull. Within less than 4 months and almost no use I saw I flaw. It was sent it to their care service team and it was deemed unrepairable. I had one of the worst costumer service experiences here when I needed my wallet repaired. I take exceptional care of my items, and the button (the old colored buttons) on my Rosalie wallet was wearing off after only using it for a year. This has been stated as a manufacturing issue and they don't make them like this anymore because the colored buttons would wear off so easily. So I recently took it in thinking they were going to take care of this button repair, because this is Louis Vuitton (and the rest of my wallet was in pristine condition). Instead, I was helped by one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. She said there was absolutely no way they would cover a repair because my item was over a year old, and that it would cost me $100. So long story short, I had it repaired and paid the $100 because I wasn't going to carry around a wallet from Louis Vuitton that looked cheap. Fast forward a couple weeks, I was talking to a few people who have said that Louis Vuitton has REPLACED their years old items for free, and that you "just have to talk to the right people". This is so messed up and unacceptable. So some people get their items replaced or repaired for free, but others are treated horrible and have to pay hundreds of dollars? This LV store is run so well, and I was very impressed. Jered helped me out, and he really listened to what kind of features I want in a purse. He brought out many styles to choose from. And I fell in love with the V tote. I ended up purchasing that one, and he even put a plastic over my shopping bag since it was raining! Maybe because of the Holidays, I got such an unwelcoming service this time. I would not mind being on the wait list for 45 minutes, so I put my name on the list and shopped around while waiting. However, when I got into the store, the bag I was planning to buy was sold out. That's not a problem. She showed me all the leather goods and I ended up getting the Pocket Organizer in Monogram. They offered to complimentary hot stamp/engrave (whatever you want to call it) my purchase as well. Anyhow, I had an ok shopping experience here. The lady who helped me was very patience and willing to give me suggestions. There were also lot of other associates gathering around chatting since there weren't many customers at the time. I had to go ask for help! Which is one of the reason why I only gave it 4 stars. She asked and was told " they were running low ". She made a $500+ purchase! She was also told their engraving machine was out of order. The only reason she bought was because of no sales tax and it was her birthday weekend. This LV store now has a "virtual" waiting list. Just go up to the associate standing at the front of the line, and ask to put your name on that list. Once it's your turn, you'll get a text notification. You can also schedule a shopping appointment ahead of time to skip the line. New inventory gets shipped everyday except for Sunday, and sales associates will know by 1pm what the inventory will consist of. Not everything gets put on display, so if you're ready to spend thousands of dollars on something, it is to your advantage to work with an associate! -------- MY EXPERIENCE: The line was long on Friday late afternoon, but since I had nowhere else to be and I am mindful of social distancing and limited capacity policies, I didn't mind and totally understood why they needed to limit store capacity. I waited ~45 minutes total. When I got to the front of the line, I shared with the associate what I was looking for (everyday carry handbag). She was very helpful, and even though I typically like to just shop and browse alone, she paired me with the next available sales associate (Effy) and I just went along with it. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are looking for a fabulous shopping experience with somebody who intimately knows the brand, designs, and will go the extra mile for you, I strongly suggest scheduling an appointment with Effy - you won't be disappointed!! She is very cheerful and has a bubbly personality, willing to work with you on what you're looking for (especially when dealing with somebody like me who is way too indecisive), and very attentive. Since I was shopping alone, I asked if she minded giving me her input when trying out multiple handbags, and her input proved to be invaluable. I was upfront with my budget, and she found handbags that were within that budget. I settled on a bag that I liked a lot but was still kind of on the fence about, since I liked it in a different color but was out of stock. It was close to closing time at this point, and many selections were gone, so she gave me her email address and phone number, and told me to text her to see if my desired bag was in stock the next day. I walked out with that bag because it was the last one they had, and other customers were eying it. I texted her late in the evening, plus also sent links to other handbags that I haven't seen but was listed online, and asked if she could keep an eye out for them in the latest inventory shipment. She saw one of them and pulled it aside, AND she also pulled aside some other bags that I didn't mention but thought I might be interested in. I was REALLY touched when she did that. She then asked if I'd like to make an appointment for later that day on Saturday to check out the bags - it was THAT easy! Appointment time rolls around and I skipped the line with my newly purchased bag in hand, just in case I find something else and wanted to return it. I actually ended up returning the first bag that I bought, and bought one of the bags that Effy had pulled aside. Some of the negative reviews here mentioned some awful customer service. It's not like I frequently shop at luxury brands, but the times I've stepped into the stores were just a turn-off with snobby and cold sales associates - I understand and I stand with those reviewers! Nobody deserves such treatment. I only walked into LV because I wanted to take advantage of the no sales tax in Oregon, and was ready to take the plunge and buy my 2nd luxury designer handbag after some serious saving. But because of Effy, Louis Vuitton has now earned a fan and repeat customer! I visited LV Portland yesterday and everyone was literally so friendly. I forgot the name of the associate that was following me around but she was really helpful. I was looking for a couple very specific bags which they ended up not having. Without being pushy, she suggested a couple similar styles which I ended up not liking too much. But I really appreciated that she wasn't pushy, and instead was very helpful in trying to find something that I might like. I'm only knocking off a star because the store was out of all the bags I was looking for, and their selection seemed really limited at least during my visit. I had to make a stop to LV to take advantage of the no tax here. I came in knowing what I wanted but was debating on the size, pattern and interior color. The sales associate was helpful asking what my bag will be used for to help me decide. I didn't feel pressured or rushed the entire time I was there. The only thing I did not like was having to stand in line outside the store just to get in. I get that it's to control the crowd but it felt like Black Friday and not a high end store. We arrived to the LV store around 1pm and was put on a virtual waiting list for about 20 minutes. The individual who checked us in was very helpful as to what we were looking for. She checked what purses they had in stock and if they didn't have the ones we were looking for, she offered alternatives. Once we were in the store, we were greeted by Effy. She is THE SWEETEST PERSON EVER! She was very friendly, patient and helpful with everything!! She is literally amazing. Did not end up getting the purse I wanted but I ended up with a different style - neonoe mm.
