I'm surprised by some of the low ratings for this store because my experiences have been nothing short of exceptional. I visit the Louis Vuitton store twice a year, and each time I'm impressed by how welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable the client advisors are. Most recently, we stopped in and were assisted by Jamira C., who was absolutely wonderful. She made our visit extra memorable by helping us choose our granddaughter's very first Louis Vuitton item -- a Mini Pochette! It's not just a bag--it's a memory and a tradition we're passing down. The Mini Pochette was the perfect introduction to the brand for our granddaughter, and we know it will be something she cherishes for years. STAY AWAY ! I have shopped at this location for several years, but recently the experience has been horrible. I purchased a shirt and waited three months to receive it. When I finally got it, the shirt had a tear. I went back, and it was a complete runaround just to get it repaired--and the repair looked terrible. I then demanded a new shirt, and it took another two months of issues to finally get a replacement. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a size 48 jacket (they only had a size 50 in the store). After waiting a month, they gave me a size 50 jacket with the tag removed, which led to another argument. I returned it and ended up ordering the jacket online instead. Overall, this has been a series of bad experiences and poor business practices. read more

What I got instead was condescension, judgment, and blatant disregard. From the moment I entered, not one associate acknowledged me. I wasn't greeted. I wasn't offered assistance. I stood there being stared at -- not with warmth or welcome, but with discomfort and silent scrutiny. I had to ask to be helped in a store that should pride itself on customer service. When I finally was approached, the way I was spoken to was dismissive, as if I didn't belong there or couldn't afford what I was asking about. The tone, the stares, the impatience -- all of it sent a very clear message: "You're not worth our time." No one walks into Louis Vuitton expecting to beg for attention or be treated like an outsider. I left that store frustrated, disrespected, and angry. It was a complete waste of my day off. I walked in with the intention to make a purchase -- and walked out empty-handed because the treatment I received told me loud and clear: I am not welcome here. Bought a Neverfull MM from this location about 13 months ago. Noticed the strap is coming apart so I reached out about having it fixed. They quoted me $390 to fix it. A $2000 handbag should be holding up much better after 13 months. Incredibly disappointed in their quality and handling of the situation. I am thrilled with my new luxury purchase. Upon walking in no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. Even when browsing, no one approached me. I wasn't decked out so maybe they thought I had no money spend. I had to ask for help which was annoying because if I am going to drop over $1K, you expect good service. Honestly, some of the sales associates seemed rude and also the security stares you down and gives you dirty looks. Finally I asked someone for help, who just finished helping someone else. He was probably the nicest associate in the store. I do not know his name but he was great! He let me try on as many bags as I wanted and provided great suggestions. He did not pressure me at all. My whole existence with shopping at this location is horrendous. From call ahead to find out which location has the item availability to going into the store. When I got to the store they had none available just the display. I ordered it to be delivered to store, they said 3 to 5 business days. That was two weeks ago. I tried tracking this item. It's almost impossible to track your item at a high-end store of this caliper when the item does arrive I want to pick it up the next day after receiving the email, the item wasn't unpacked from shipping.This is a gift for someone. As happy as I am with the purchase I made today on my first LV bag, I have to write about the upsetting experience I had at the Louis Vuitton in Short Hills Mall. Since obtaining my Master's degree (About 2 years ago) my husband and family have been getting me gift cards for birthdays, holidays, etc. to LV to save for something I really wanted which was extremely thoughtful and kind of them. After my 30th birthday last month I finally had collected enough to get something I really wanted. We planned for us all to go today to help me make sure and pick out something that looked good! I made my decision in less than 30 mins (good if you ask me haha). Before we were even assisted by someone, not one person greeted us and I waited 15 mins before even being put on a wait list to be helped by someone. After about 20 mins, a wonderful sales associate named Gabby helped me. I could only say great things about her. Unfortunately, when we went to the register to pay I was rudely told by a manager that they could not accept no more than 4 gift cards for one transaction. "That it was company policy and the register system wouldnt allow it." No where online, In their in person store policy or receipt is this written. Also, every gift card I received from my family was purchased in that Store to which I had every receipt to prove it and no one told them of this policy. The manager quickly dismissed me and told me to call customer service in which I was on the phone with for over an hour in the store to which I was just repeatedly told "it's internal store policy". Never did they make their customers aware or is it in writing anywhere! My family would not have continued to buy all these gift cards if they were not allowed to be for the same Purchase. It was not until after almost 2 hours did a different store manager named Stacy come to help me in store after seeing how upset and frustrated my family and I were. She was extremely helpful and called the district manager to receive a second approval to move forward with my transaction. Not only did the first manager lie to me, but he was completely rude, dismissive, and never showed face after his colleague took the time to help me. Aside from my sales associate and this one manager, I can't say enough how disappointed I was in the experience that was supposed to be a pleasant and exciting time with my family who helped get me this bag. I understand there are much bigger problems, but I wanted to atleast write this in case anyone else had the idea to do gift cards for a family member as well as maybe advise going to a different LV. I made a purchase 2 weeks ago while on vacation in Las Vegas. My SA there was so sweet and beyond helpful. I purchased a few items and decided that I wasn't really in love with one of my items. It was still packaged nicely, only removed to look at it a few times to see if I wanted to keep it. I decided I'd probably not use it much and took it to the LV store at Short Hills mall today to get a refund. I explained that I was returning something I purchased while on vacation and wanted a refund to the SA. I advised her that I did not have a physical receipt, I had asked the SA to e mail it to me, as to not misplace it or have it get lost while returning home. The SA was basically rolling her eyes at me and told me without the physical receipt in hand, they could only issue me a store credit,, and then, told me I could mail it back to Las Vegas and see about getting a refund. I've never returned anything there in the past, but I was beyond taken back with her smug attitude. I pressed the issue, that I have an e mail receipt, by choice and cc I paid with in hand, along with being in their computer system. I asked to speak to a manager, she didn't allow me that opportunity... but did walk over to speak with her and she gave the go ahead for my refund. I never come on Yelp to write a bad review, as I'm more of a complimentary type of person,, however, her disrespectful, sour mood has forever put me off from making a purchase at that particular store in the future. Questioning if I was wrong in how I pictured the return/refund going, I took to FB to a loyal LV group. Apparently, I am not alone in my less than professional encounter at the Short Hills LV store. We're not going in purchasing a pack of gum,,, we're laying out good money for items we love. I believe that the SA's should get better customer service training, because many customers are being turned off from that particular store, due to rude, less than professional service. MY GF and I were in there to buy a bag feb 15th 2020 around 7pm. Woman with a bun literally pulled the bag from the shoulder of my GF while she was looking at the bag without saying anything and proceed to place it back on the shelves. I was nervous to purchase a purse from this location after reading the horrible reviews. However, my experience was everything I wished for! I did walk around for 20 minutes and was confused why no one was asking if I needed help. You need to put your name down on a waitlist at the front of the store, they will call your name when someone is available to help you. I was lucky enough to be helped by Cheryl who went above and beyond to make sure I chose a bag I'll love. She showed me multiple bags that were similar to the one I had in mind, just in case I liked one of them better. Cheryl was also so patient with me when I wanted to look at myself in the mirror with the bag on a million times before making up my mind because she understood that it was a big purchase. I love to look at their things. Years ago I wanted one of the bright yellow backpacks. So much I could taste it. But could not afford it. They used to let me come visit it here. Now they have the recent up to date offerings, as well as the classics here. If you like LV and want to be sure to get a real one, this is the place. Ebay has a lot of fakes. The used ones on Ebay are great, but if you are willing to pay almost retail why not just pay retail, then you get the receipt and guarantee etc. I still don't buy LV, now that I can afford it I find the bags too heavy to carry. I was greeted promptly by doorman and then by Expert Client Advisor Nadine. She is very knowledgeable and attentive. Needles to say I left the first day because she told me to not rush into anything and a particular shoe wasn't in. So I came back like 2 weeks later just to see if any new merchandise came in. I highly recommend going to Halina for all your LV needs -- Needless to say, years later my family, friends, and I would only visit this store when she's there. Halina has a great personality, always gives us her honest opinion & very patient with me because I can take a while to make a decision on a bag. Never have I ever felt rushed or judged like other LV stores I've been too.
