The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! After ordering one lunch special and three salads i discovered why. if you were on a lunch break you won't make it back in time. service is attentive but moves slow. the kitchen moves even slower. i tested this theory by observing other patrons that entered. almost all appeared to be retired or not currently in the work place. the food was good but by the time my special arrived it wasn't hot. salads were good and delivered just as ordered. it's a nice restaurant, lighting was a bit dim for lunch and looked like more of a dinner time ambiance. i'd give them another try, maybe i caught them on an off day!
