It was a bright and sun shining day. Walked in and it smelled straight like restroom and smoke but I didn't let that deter me from ordering. This fairly big gentleman took my order I wish I would have known his name, I ordered a seafood platter and my sides were red beans and rice and coleslaw. Waited for my food for about a 10 minutes or so was very fast. Took my food to go and flew home to eat this delicious food. Ok let's get started with the food seafood platter consist of 2 boudin balls 2 shrimp and 2 fish 1 pepper 3 chicken tenders everything was seasoned well and tasted pretty good. Couldn't eat it all between just me, had to put some away. Now let's talk about the sides the cole slaw could have used some more juice but all in all it was ok if I could have choosing something else I would. The Hostess/Cashier was nice on the surface but " We would argue that more times than not, using a pet name with a customer will make them feel uncomfortable and less likely to return. The reality is, most customers are strangers or mere acquaintances only taking part in a transactional relationship--they don't want to be your "hon" or any other pet name. I just can't believe someone packaged this and thought to themselves, yes this is fair. The shrimp that I do have is not fresh and taste comparable to frozen shrimp I can buy at the grocery store. The chicken tenders taste dry like they were either over cooked, or day old. Additionally, the tenders themselves taste fishy, like literal fish, indicating that this establishment fries chicken and seafood in the same fryer. one who I am not too sure I believe their claim. I decided to take a chance. It's very clean and the staff are friendly. They are family owned apparently with a few other locations. This restaurant was very clean inside. My husband and I ordered the catfish with shrimp with garlic toast , fries, red beans and rice, and hush puppies. It smelled so good in the car on the ride home and I just couldn't wait to eat. As you can see I bit into the simple toast and it was goood ! The cornmeal batter is very flavorful. I wanted to try a new place for my family to enjoy some Cajun food. The Uber eats reviews were decent so I decided to order. My family spend about $100 in food just trying all things from the menu. We ordered both seafood platters, one grilled and the other fried. The wings and shrimp rice, shrimp and chicken tender combo, gumbo, stuffed jalapeños, red beans and rice, hushpuppies, corn on the cob, and greenbeans. First off I would like to say due to an uber error (nothing on the restaurant) but my grill seafood platter was all fried. The family was super nice and had no problem fixing the issue, however, I ordered delivery and I had to go to the restaurant for the exchange, right after getting home from work. I pre-ordered my food so it would be there when I got home. Which I was happy about. The reason for the 3 stars is strictly for the customer service. The food is very subpar. I went back through previous pictures and our food looks nothing like the pictures. I'm trying to be understanding of us being in a pandemic, but if you're going to skimp on the food, skimp on those prices too or be fair. The gumbo did have a nice taste, however those sausages were the cheapest tasting sausages I've ever had in a gumbo and the shrimp was very scarce, but over it taste pretty good. The stuffed jalapeños were ok, I use that lightly... it's only stuffed with cream cheese and maybe a mozzarella, for $7.99 for 4 jalapeños my hopes were set too high. My wings that were supposed to be (WHOLE) looked like Buffalo wings, the rice was very good and actually full of shrimp so I was happy about that, but disappointed about the wings. My fiancé had the shrimp and chicken tenders and when I say NO WORTH $15.49, it was a waste because he would still be hungry. They butterflied these tiny shrimp to make them look bigger, bit it didn't do the job. Since the combo only came with 5 shrimps, I didn't try his.
