This place is somewhere in between music bar to beach view restaurant. It's not my usual vibe but I've been told I had to try them out... So I did! The back side and second level of this establishment is an outdoor, self seating, little beach front dining area with uncomfortable seats and high tables. But the fresh salty air, shielded from the sun with a beautiful view of the ocean makes it worth it. The service is casual, as is the entire experience. The seafood was super fresh and yummy! Well seasoned and good portions. I ordered the dozen raw oysters and enjoyed every last one immensely. All the right sauces we brought without request. The peel and eat shrimp, both cold and hot, where very plump and juicy. Also fantastic. I can see why they are popular. I also ordered calamari and still am not sure if they brought the right order... they looked like clam strips and were quite bland. They clearly are a busy establishment with locals and vacationers alike. Service was nothing to complain nor praise. Again, this is a casual beach spot but the staff seemed very busy. I consider myself a regular at this establishment. I usually come on Saturday nights for the dancing (this is the best spot in town to dance your feet off). If you're coming for a date night... don't. You wont be able to hear anything the other person is saying (unless you want to sit outside in the smoking session). Wednesday nights they have karaoke from 7:30-10:30 and peel and eat shrimp baskets. There food is pretty great for bar food. I love the crispy fries, the chicken fingers, and the mammoth sized pretzel (that can feed a family). This restaurant isn't really kid friendly. Across from Walmart on A1A in Satellite Beach. Just one visit here for lunch so far. It has a large parking lot and many people seem to use the lot to visit the beach and not necessarily the restaurant. You can see the ocean but not the beach from the back porch of the establishment. A fairly extensive menu for what is primarily a "watering hole". The day we were there it was pretty crowded on the deck but not inside. There were a lot of motorcycles in the parking lot. The food was decent. A Caesar salad with shrimp and avocado.....a blackened mahi sandwich were our selections and we were satisfied. Beers were inexpensive. Tried this place on our trip! Couldn't tell how the experience would be based on the appearance of the place.... but I wanted something that I could look at the water while eating. The parking lot is also in the view of the water but was still nice eating on the second floor balcony! We sat at the bar. Everyone was really nice... I live too far :( I got a .... don't remember the name and the menu online doesn't show their alcohol menu.... it was a rum drink and was good. Then I got a mai tai which was good. Both were good but... not strong enough for me. We started with the avocado salsa. Flavor is minimal as in they let the natural flavors from the avocado, tomato's, onions, and jalapeno's stand out. It was refreshing and I really enjoyed it on that hot day... just wanted a little more salt. I ordered the sliders. I got the burger one and a chicken parm one...... you already know that chicken parm slider had an effect on me..... so bad.. I really want more of that slider! Why you got to be so far from me :'( The burger slider was really good to! Flavor! Yum..... but that chicken parm.... I guess I was surprised by it. Never had one before. Sigh. So sad. Went to Lou's recently on a Thursday, between 12:30p-2:30p, and only ordered drinks. We sat on the second floor deck. Although it was late August and hot, they had several fans blowing which made sitting outside pleasant. The fans were blowing hard enough, but not loud enough we could not hear our conversation. It was a great atmosphere. Instead of relying on one server, the 2 servers on the deck were working together. One minute one was checking on us and the next, the other was asking us if we needed anything. Great service!! I wish more places worked this way. Next time I'll try something off of the food menu!! read more

Our favorite little restaurant so far in Satellite Beach/Indialantic area of the barrier islands. Staff was super nice and helpful. Appetizers and food were great, the seafood platter was a hit for the ladies. The island coctails were yummy and strong. And they have karaoke during the early evening and live bands at night. Lou's Blues was a fun spot that was recommended to us on our mini getaway to Indiatlantic. Our group of 8 initially went for dinner, but stayed for the entertainment. We even went back a 2nd night, just for the music.They offer a decent variety of seafood and american favorites. Prices were on point for the most part. They offer a full bar and draft beers. They had karaoke on both nights we were there, and everyone seemed to be celebrating a birthday party. There was no room on the 1st floor. Around 9:30, the live music begins to play. It does get very crowded, so I recommend heading there early. Ask for Ana, she was fabulous! read more

We go here a lot, but had a horrible experience tonight, We went for a friends birthday and the upstairs female bartenders were best described as NASTY towards us. disgusted looks on their faces for no reason at all, horrible attitudes, said rude things which i won't repeat here, acted like every drink order was some miserable proposition (and they were tipped well... at first). For a friendly group of people, who weren't even close to drunk to be treated like this, with such a nasty attitude ruined our friends birthday. We love the bands here, and the security guards are awesome and always super attentive and looking out for everyone. But the upstairs female bartenders, particularly the one with the tattooed neck was the rudest service workers we have ever encountered in brevard county! 2 stars.. sorry Lou. read more

Lou's Blues is a cool restaurant/bar that has the potential to easily be a 5/5. View: Incredible. The upstairs, outdoor seating has a direct view of the ocean. Menu/food: I got a Blues Burger mistakenly thinking the blue cheese was cooked in the patty (my bad - it was clearly listed in the description that the blue cheese was on top). The burger was flavorful, but the patty was bizarrely thin. The onion wings were delicious and not overly greasy. My guest was impressed with her cheeseburger sliders and fries. We asked about their soup of the day (listed on the menu), were told it was no longer offered and that chili was the only option. I would have loved to have some clam chowder! The drinks: No drink menus were readily available. Upon asking for one, we were given an extensive menu without prices. I'm unsure why this was the case as their prices were nothing worth being secretive over. My peach iced tea (bourbon, peach schnapps, tea and sour mix) and my guest's rum and Diet Coke were excellent. Overall, I'll come back to give their wings and coconut shrimp a shot. If those don't hit the mark, I'll still be back for drinks with a view. read more

Service was horrible! We sat down at the bar at around 5:45. The bar was busy and tables were full. The bartender who approached us was extremely rude to me and my husband. I ordered a sparkling water (I had already had a couple of beers at another establishment) and my husband had a beer. When I asked for sparkling water she looked at me like I was crazy and told me she only has club soda. I told her that was fine. I was surprised when I received the bill and was charged for club soda. I have never been charged for club soda. To make matters worse she continued to walk past us and not take our order. Another woman took our order and was very polite. When our wings arrived they were placed on the bar, the grumpy bartender picked up our food and said "we need to move these" - WE DID NOT PUT THEM ON THE BAR! At this point I was irritated but we were still hungry so we ordered the fish sandwich (which was very good as were the wings). While we were finishing our meal a man came out with a giant box of bingo cards and told my husband that he needed the space to put the cards. Again, how are we suppose to know that we were sitting in the spot where the bingo cards belong. Long story, the food was good. I don't understand why they use paper plates and plastic ware when there is so much plastic in our world, not environmentally friendly at all. I would not return due to the poor attitude of staff. One last thing, the grumpy bartender voiced her displeasure to her coworker when she saw only a $3 tip from the couple that sat next to us. The food was delish. The portions are large and a take home box is a must. The fries were the best I've ever had. It looked and tasted as if it was battered then fried. The battered shrimp had an assortment of sizes, which was a nice surprise. The employees were friendly and I must say, so were the patrons. It was such a joy to socialize with the customers here.
