    Happy hour menu

Killer happy hour, I love the smoking friendly patio, always busy in a good way. The food is just as good as it was before the fire. The spicy Seafood fettuccini with a side of Alfredo, all, day, long.

Decent but slightly pricey pub just oustide downtown Abbotsford. Parking is available in front, as well as behind the building. Wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. The place burned down a few years ago (2017?) so I wasn't sure if it was under the same ownership etc. With that said, they sure did a good job fixing up the place. Everything looks new and modern and classy. Besides the L-shaped main dining area, there is also an upstairs dining area (closed when we went) as well as a nice outdoor patio along the N side of the building, complete with nice fancy gas fireplaces and all. Worth checking out during the summer months. Staff were were friendly. No complaints there. The Lou's Original burger I had wasn't really a burger. It was more of a half sub (think of something like beef dip). The price was a bit higher than I expected, but the fixings were all there. Lettuce, tomato, nice melty cheese, bacon, a few mushrooms, and red onions. I was happy. The fries were pretty tasty too, and there was a decent portion. Definitely worth a return visit at some point.

    Blackened Cajun chicken $28

Service was good. Food tasted fine, but they didn't exactly get it right. I got the blackened Cajun chicken entree ($28). The problems: it wasn't blackened. They missed that step. The roasted potatoes were not roasted, they were just boiled; again missed a step. The "grilled" asparagus were clearly not grilled, again, cutting corners. It all tasted fine, but the lack of presentation was also another ding. Overpriced. Lackluster. Good server though (which was the only saving grace).

Dim Sum Appy Steamed with MOLD and MOUSE POO. I took my children here for a snack yesterday afternoon and was horrified to find mouse poo and mold on the top of the bamboo steamer the dim sum came in.... after we ATE it!!! YES! We are food steamed in mouse poop and mold. See attached photos if you have the stomach for it. I will never return and will warn every single person I know. Worst dining experience of our lives. My son was sick and now 24 hours later still not feeling better. Disgusting. Save yourself the horror. Honestly. Words cannot describe...

Great spot for brunch. Wonderful eggs benny with home fries and salad. A bit dark inside but service was great and food was delicious.

My family and I first went to Lou's Grill recently and were very impressed. Although the restaurant was very busy, the carpark was full, there were staff everywhere and no wait time to get seated and order drinks. The menu is typical American Bar food, and I opted for a club sandwich which was (almost) too large for me. Three slices of fresh wholegrain bread, generous slices of chicken breast and avocado. All the ingredients were fresh. That was served with a very large portion of fries which are thick cut and also good quality. You'll find a modern interior that looks recently refurbished and looks sort of a like a night club. Everything was nicely spaced out and comfortable though. The servers are notably efficient and very friendly. My family were delighted with our lunch and look forward to our next visit.

    Delicious mouthwatering burgers

The place is ok . I found it loud and while the food was good I didn't really enjoy the service. The parking is also annoying .

The best place to go for drinks in Abbotsford. Great beer selection, excellent patio, and the spanikopizza is a must-try.

I got a table right away since the place was vacant and was able to order right away. I had their Breakfast Classic with Bacon and I thought it was average. I had sourdough toast and hashbrowns that were bland, and the eggs were okay. The bacon tasted good at least. The coffee was nothing special and tasted more like Orange Pekoe. The interior of the bar looked undistinguished and run-down, sighting nothing special about its design. The best part I can say about Sneakers was the employees were professionals and did an admirable job serving me. Perhaps the next time when I come there, I will come for dinner.

It was a Friday night so we decided to stay on the patio. It was pretty cool with the fire torches. We ordered a few drinks and ordered some food. Everything was going good except the food was taking forever but it was busy. Finally our food comes and we decide to dig in. As I was eating an individual from inside the lounge came out to have a smoke. Which is fine I was a smoker for 20 years but now had quit. So people smoking around me usually is no problem. But there was a little problem he had sat down behind me, right where the wind was slowly blowing the smoke right in my face as I was trying to eat. After a few minutes of this I thought the customer smoking would see this and move but he didn't. So, just as I had turned around to ask the customer very (nicely).... let me repeat that nicely if he could possibly move to a different table, as we are enjoying our food and the smoke is going in our face while we try and eat. It was just at that time I was saying this the waitress came from inside and she could hear what I said and told me very bluntly that the patrons can smoke where ever they want and if I have a problem with that I should move inside because it's non smoking. For one I didn't ask the waitress what she thought plus in my mind she was incouraging him to smoke in my face. I simply asked an individual to move because his smoke was going in my face. I had ordered food and drinks at the same table so why should I have to move. Here is what to expect if you decide to eat there. People do look at reviews just as my self to decide what places to go to. So I hope the management would do the right thing and maybe inform the waitresses to be more courteous to customers since we are paying your wage. It was almost 100$ in a couple hours at this place but losing that plus times how many people read this.

I am not going to talk about the delicious food here, because that part is already well understood…read more Instead, I want to highlight a few things that, as diners, we often take for granted and sometimes overlook. Consistency I have been coming here randomly about six times since they opened, and that consistency is impressive. Portions are steady, service feels genuine, and every dish arriving at the table shows care. Nothing pretentious, just honest food that makes you smile and feel comfortable. Creativity, done right There is a clear respect for classic dishes, and that is not easy to pull off. The kitchen hits the right notes without overcomplicating things. The cioppino stood out in particular, a humble yet elegant seafood broth I have only ever tried in San Francisco, the birthplace of the dish. The resemblance was remarkable, and the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. I felt the same attention in the chowder and even in the cocktails, where every spice and component seems thoughtfully chosen to deliver a specific experience. Care and attention to detail This one is easy to notice. The owner is present, engaged, and clearly invested. You can tell when someone genuinely cares and takes pride in what they are doing, without big fuss or trying to be something they are not. That care carries through the room, the bar, and the overall atmosphere. Comfortable, polished, and welcoming. Point of improvement One small area where the experience could be elevated even further is service etiquette. Simple refinements, such as how drinks are poured or placed on the table, could enhance the customer experience and better match the level of care coming from the kitchen. These are small, easy-to-train details, but they make a noticeable difference. Overall, this is a hidden gem in Abbotsford that deserves to be discovered. A place that earns your trust quietly and keeps you coming back for all the right reasons.

We checked out this pie-themed bar on a recent trip to La Conner, and it did not disappoint. We were craving a sweet treat after a delish dinner nearby, and this was one of the only spots open after 8pm. (If you know La Conner, you know how thrilled we were to discover this. The town pretty much shuts down at 6pm!) We grabbed a table by the window, ordered a giganto piece of coconut cream pie to share (and an equally generous slice of chocolate bourbon pecan to take back to the RV for breakfast the next day). Both were delish, but if we had to choose again the coconut cream pie was the best of the two. They also offer savory pies here, so let's just say we'll be stopping in again soon! I noticed they have a beautiful outdoor patio as well, so I can easily see myself sitting out there with a slice of chicken pie and a cocktail on a breezy summer afternoon.
