What a fun place! Firstly, the name.....it has a big hook and we wanted to check it out. And who doesn't love PIE! It's located on the channel and has indoor and outdoor patio seating. We came right at opening on a Thursday, and had our choice of seating. As I understand, the bar is owned by a couple of brothers, and both were there to assist us. We started with cocktails (why not?). The margarita was a good choice and we learned that they were taught mixology by their stepdad who worked in the industry in Ballard. We also learned the pie recipes were taught to them from their mom. We opted for the Thanksgiving pie, which was served with a side of cranberry sauce and a lovely green salad. The pie was a good size, filled with turkey, rosemary potatoes, gravy and stuffing. I mean, classic flavors, and topped with a dab of cranberry, it brings out all the feels. Very tasty! The crust is perfectly flakey and delicious. The salad was topped with feta and grated beets with a tangy viniagrette. Hubs and I shared, and it was pretty filling. I didn't think we could eat a sweet slice there, so I ordered the Humble Crumble to go. Of course.......we couldn't resist. Just one bite, then another. We soon devoured the sweet pie before we could even get up from the table. I love the idea! Great food! Great Service! read more

Delicious pie? Yes! Tasty cocktails? Yes! Friendly service? Yes! Cute, waterfront, dive bar vibe? Yes, yes, yes! We checked out this pie-themed bar on a recent trip to La Conner, and it did not disappoint. We were craving a sweet treat after a delish dinner nearby, and this was one of the only spots open after 8pm. (If you know La Conner, you know how thrilled we were to discover this. The town pretty much shuts down at 6pm!) We grabbed a table by the window, ordered a giganto piece of coconut cream pie to share (and an equally generous slice of chocolate bourbon pecan to take back to the RV for breakfast the next day). Both were delish, but if we had to choose again the coconut cream pie was the best of the two. They also offer savory pies here, so let's just say we'll be stopping in again soon! I noticed they have a beautiful outdoor patio as well, so I can easily see myself sitting out there with a slice of chicken pie and a cocktail on a breezy summer afternoon. read more

Pie Dive Bar rocks! It's a small location with a fantastic view of the water and boat traffic. It's run by two brothers whose family runs two other locations. Luke runs the front of house while his brother Owen is the chef. The indoor dining area is very comfortable - almost like a speakeasy, with eclectic tables and chairs. The atmosphere is great, with fun decorations and attractive lighting. The bartender makes excellent cocktails - my favorite is the jalapeño margarita, which gets served in a pint glass. The food is delicious and usually gets served very quickly. I love the recipes - a selection of delicious savory pies for dinner and sweet pies for dessert. To-go pies are available, as well. All savory pies include a side salad that has beets on it... I love beets. My favorite dessert is the banana bourbon cream pie. My favorite savory pie is a toss up between Thanksgiving, the shepherds pie and the brisket mac and cheese. If I could change one thing, it would be to offer a side of gravy with the Thanksgiving pie. The flavor is delicious, but it can be a bit dry sometimes - a side of gravy would solve that. If you're ever in La Conner, you HAVE to check out the Pie Dive Bar! This place is seriously amazing--we went back a second time during our quick three-night stay! It's run by two awesome brothers, Luke and Owen, and the vibes are as good as the food. Luke is super friendly and even remembered us on our second visit! The savory pies are delish (that Shepherd's, Steak,  and Thanksgiving pies are fire!), and the sweet pies are out of this world (the Humble Crumble is a Food Network Award Winner!). However we also loved the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan and Strawberry Rhubarb! Highly, highly recommend hitting this spot up for dinner and dessert. You won't regret it! read more

What a great new place in LaConner. We popped in a couple times for their delicious cocktails and pie. I had a spicy margarita it is made with their own jalapeno infused tequila and it was delicious the second time I had a seasonal cocktail that was also pretty tasty. This is a real gem of a place. The family atmosphere, the food is warm and delicious. and inviting. Waterfront view is a bonus.

To start with the positive, the sweet pies were good and the server was very kind, the savory pies however..... really missed the mark. My husband got the Shepard's pie and I got steak. They both lacked flavor and just weren't very good. We were excited to try something different, but were very disappointed. Hopefully it was just an off day. read more

Luke and Owen are amazing. Thanking pie would put grandma's to shame. Luke makes really good infused liquors. Lavender vodka, jalapeño tequila dance across your tongue. Strawberry rhubarb for dessert was divine. 10/10. We will be taking some home too. read more

Very small place but worth going the mac and cheese with burnt end brisket it really good . The husband had Chicken pot pie our friend had the Thanksgiving pie he said it was amazing and my other friend had the Shepard pie she said it was really tasty. Next time the husband said he will go for the Thanksgiving pie. I will stick with the Mac and Cheese. my mom had the steak on it was tasty and full of meat. Crust was nice and fluffy. Obviously we had to check out Pie Dive Bar (because pie, duh)... saw the menu online & was instantly sold. They have outdoor and indoor seating w/ bar seating as well. Great views of the water, literally right next to the walkway along the waterfront. Really cool art around the dining area. The staff were amazing, very attentive & great personalities! They have savory & sweet pies. We ordered the Thanksgiving & the Chicken... they were delish! The Chicken pie had a lot of veggies vs. a standard chicken pot pie you'd get elsewhere. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan and the Humble Crumble. Both were phenomenal. This place is a must if you are in the area! read more

Great food. I haven't had everything but what I have had was delicious. My table, we had the Thanksgiving pie and the brisket mac & cheese pie. So good. Additionally, their old-fashioned is pretty good too. Small but quaint with a deck to sit on when the weather is good (risky in the Northwest.) Service was great and friendly. It took me a couple of months and a cold, post Christmas Day to make it in to this new addition on La Conner's waterfront, but I have no doubt it will become a regular stop. The inside area is small but comfortable, with nice natural edge wooden tables and great view along the channel. I started with a delicious Black Rose cocktail made with in-house rosemary infused vodka that hit exactly the right balance. We had the steak pie and the Thanksgiving pie and both hit the spot for comfort food on a cold day. We saved some space for their well-earned award winning Humble Crumble pie a la mode-and you should too. Luke behind the bar (and everywhere else) is doing an excellent job providing a place to come and enjoy a drink and good food. Once the weather is warm enough to enough to enjoy their deck area and word gets out, I think this place will be jammed. And getting a whole pie to go will be such a great option for an impromptu dinner! read more

This small comfortable dining room with roped off bar area has an up close view of the channel, and is very cozy. There is a small but great menu including savory and dessert pies. We had the steak pie and the brisket with mac and cheese pie. Both great! Each comes with a very nice side salad. The coffee was good also. The food was excellent, they were out of what I went in for so I had the BBQ/ Mac& cheese and it did not disappoint. I would recommend that in a second. The vibe was great for a small spot . We had heard rave reviews about this new restaurant in our small town where we live so we went last night. I had the Thanksgiving pie (filling was good, little dry but used cranberry sauce to moisten it) husbands had Brisket and Mac (not much Brisket as there is Mac) but the flavors are there. Service was good and decor is cute. Looking forward to having a drink on the deck when the weather turns nice and trying a different set of pies. Definitely recommend this restaurant. read more
