    Chicken Biscuit #1

Great little lunch spot with reasonable pricing which seems like it doesn't exist any more. $6 for a chicken sando and $5 for fries. The ranch was awesome the fries were perfect and the chicken biscuits sando was fire. And I think it was cheaper than fast food! Super homey inside and the people were as nice as can be. I'll be back as I work not too far.

We tried the fish sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and both were made to order fresh and delicious. The chicken was very crispy / juicy and the sauce had good spice.

Finally got a chance & dayoff to try this place. Friendly staff. Nice inside and outside patio area. Great food! My only complaint is theres no menus at all until you get right up to the register so i didnt have much time to make a decision. Almost got the brisket or pulled pork. We got the crispy chicken sandwich , chicken tenders fries & vanilla milkshake. Everything we ordered was delicious, moist, hot, fresh! Did not disappoint!! Chicken had a nice crunch, excellent flavor, moist, fresh, the shoestring fries had a nice crisp and nice amount of seasoned salt. They were super busy 8/17/25 on a Sunday. Good for families. The owners own Jacks gas station in sonoma i believe changed it from box car diner before covid. Great job! Will return. Order #91

Okc burger , Nashville chicken sandwich and Highway fries !! So bomb !!!

My husband and I stumbled on this place while Driving to bodega Bay, we are so glad we did we ordered the Okc burger, Nashville chicken sandwich and the highway fries the mustard sauce that was on there with a little bit of dill was amazing and grilled onions and pickles. It was a delicious experience, such a bomb place. We will definitely be back. We even talked about how this will become one of our destinations on the way to the bay.!

Lou's Luncheonette was the perfect wine country lunch stop. The vineyard views are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food was exactly what you want from a great diner--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We enjoyed feeding the goats, which added a fun and memorable touch to the visit. I also tried the rosé, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired perfectly with lunch. Between the scenic setting, delicious comfort food, and unique farm experience, this is a place I'll gladly return to and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

So we were looking for a quick and light lunch as we had dinner plans and did not want to spoil our appetite. This is a roadside dive, with some indoor seating and a patio, nothing to look at. But the FOOD was Excellent and one meal was plenty for us to share. Got the Catfish and fries, with Cole slaw. The Root Beer I ordered was Craft Brewed, better than most too!

Love the casualness of this spot. Walk-up counter to order & buzzer system to pick up food. Inside and outside tables available. Umbrella's at every patio table ready for a beautiful sunny day! Always have the nicest guy takes our order & gives great recommendations when we're on the fence about what to order. Goats come right up to the fence at the back of the patio. Perfect spot to bring your kids or dogs, or both!

Legit bomb food. Family fun zone. I played ping pong with a random 8 year old. Mixed it up with a bachelorette gang. The buffalou sando was my fave. Biscuit was sweet I'll be back for a waffle and a milkshake. Bring quarters. Inside seating very nostalgic, underrated.

Passing this place you wouldn't think it's real, like its to picture perfect. But then you go inside and the decor inside matches the outside, right down to the 1940s payphone on the wall. Wine, Beer Burgers and fried chicken. The food Is delicious but the atmosphere makes everything taste better. The staff is excellent! Especially the captain of the ship Colin, I stayed about a half hour longer just talking to him. Great vibes, great food, in an unbelievable location. Lou's is something special! The only thing missing was apple pie. This is Americana at its finest!

Scrumdiddlyumptious! I've had this place on my must-try list for a while, and I finally got the perfect opportunity to check it out. I had only one Sonoma winery tour scheduled for 3:00 pm, so I made my way up from the city and arrived around 1:30 pm for a slightly late lunch. It was still a bit busy at this time, but despite the crowd, the service was friendly and fast. If you love Southern food and aren't afraid of mayonnaise, this place is for you. For the classics - their potato salad, hushpuppies, and deviled eggs were all perfect. While I thought the fried chicken could have been made with better quality meat, the biscuit and fixins were absolutely divine. I probably wouldn't order the chicken again, but I'd definitely return for everything else. I'll be sure to order extra biscuits next time. The food and service were great, and the ambiance was really nice too. The interior is itty bitty, but they have a sizable outdoor patio, complete with umbrellas, a huge mural, and even few Tonka trucks. It seemed super kid/pet-friendly overall. There were several dogs on the patio, each with their own water bowl. This is a perfect spot to bring the whole family to relax and enjoy warmer weather days.

This place is a MUST. The most charming little place I've ever been to. As we were driving into Sonoma for the weekend we stopped here for lunch. Hands down one of the BEST burgers I've ever had. Get yourself a burger, fries, and a glass of rose and head to the tables outside. We also ordered the potato salad and the deviled eggs. MY GOD, this place is delicious. The service is quick, order at the counter inside and they give you a pager and buzz you when the order is up. We may be hitting this place for breakfast on the way out, as it was that GOOD!!!

So glad we stopped at Lou's on our way from Santa Rosa to Sacramento. That biscuit is the best I've ever had! I wish the chicken tender that was in it was bigger but it tasted good. The homemade pickles were amazing and I usually don't like pickles. The potato salad was good too, very dill forward but the overall blend of flavors was nice. Great service and super cute ambiance with a nice patio and goats in the back. I'm definitely stopping by whenever I'm in Sonoma!

Eggs Benedict and the Dinner Breakfast with scramble eggs, sausage, with biscuit.
    Tai D.

Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the eggs Benedict and hubby ordered the Finer breakfast, which was the 2 eggs with choice of bacon, sausage, etc. hash browns were included in both breakfasts. Very tasty and hardy breaker! Order at the counter and you can sit inside or out in their beautiful outdoor space. The folks were friendly and service was great.

The service was pretty good, seated fast, pretty attentive with all the tables they had to serve. We ordered a traditional caramel macchiato (it is nothing like a Carmel macchiato that you are thinking of) and a matcha latte. They were pretty but lacking flavor. The Mach was very bitter, but I am sure that's the traditional version in a little bitty shot like glass -not my fave but I was trying to order stuff i wouldn't normally get. ‍ the matcha came in a giant mug, and it wasn't sweet at all and just kinda of plain. For food, we ordered the wagyu steak and eggs. It came with some interesting garlic herby potatoes, a piece of sourdough cut in half, scrambled eggs, 6 slim slices of beef and a little jam of some sort. We also asked for a side of their house made chili crunch. The steak was mediocre, the potatoes tasted a little weird. We enjoyed the bread and eggs the most. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. I'd come back and try other items. It is a very cute location.

I wouldn't bother coming here if you're not a hotel guest. The first day, I had the chilaquiles - I found them incredibly spicy. I wish they had warned us about the spice level. Also, I had asked for the queso fresco and crema on the side, and it took them forever to bring them out (long after the chilaquiles came out, after we followed up), which was disappointing. The second day, I got the açaí bowl, which was decent - no complaints, though I wasn't blown away. My husband thought his chicken and waffles were okay, and we all enjoyed sharing the fresh fruit plate. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The food took a while to come out both days. The setting is welcoming and bright. Overall, this is a decent hotel restaurant (and we certainly appreciated our breakfast benefit as Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite guests), but I wouldn't return if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

They came around to give us a second round of crostini since we ran out and we didn't have to request for it. They must get a lot of requests of the extra crostini to enjoy and finish the mousse entirely! Steak tartare to savor over as well as their pickled caperberries, offered something different to cornichons and complimented well with the steak tartare. Duck confit was to be delved into! They know how to make the duck confit still juicy and tender! I adore the corn ragout, pickled alliums, squash and sweet peppers all mixed together and laid underneath the duck confit. It's a unique dish and a signature entree one must order! I haven't tasted anything like this before. Their iron steak could be replaced with something else. I do like their frites on this entree but they could have upped their game by providing gratin instead (which they have on their menu only as a side) with the steak. Adored their gratin. The pancakes look amazing, as did everything else we caught a glimpse of. A Vallejo omelette and a basic eggs, bacon and potatoes plate. My husband absolutely loved the omelette comparing it to the ones he used to order at the Cliff House in SF back in the day. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were perfect with onion and red peppers added in. Omelette $20 and egg combo $19. Very reasonably priced. The service was great and the food came out piping hot. We will definitely visit again. They were written up in Sonoma magazine for the lemon pancakes and French toast.

The biggest issue was that a mandatory 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. If you're going to require guests to pay a 20% tip regardless of the experience, the service should at least meet that standard. Unfortunately, it didn't. Our server, Chloe, seemed far more occupied with spending time in the kitchen or attending to guests seated outside than checking on our table. We were dining inside, where the restaurant was nearly empty, yet she would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time, leaving us with no way to ask for refills, order additional drinks, or get simple questions answered. To make matters worse, our wine glasses arrived visibly dirty. We pointed it out, but they were never replaced. That's a basic service expectation at any restaurant, especially one at this price point. She also volunteered recommendations for her "favorite" dishes, despite us never asking for suggestions--and they happened to be among the most expensive items on the menu. It felt more like upselling than genuine hospitality. The kitchen deserves credit because the food was genuinely very good. But great food can't make up for inattentive service, especially when guests have no choice but to pay a mandatory 20% gratuity. If Layla is going to automatically add a 20% tip, then they should ensure the service earns it--not simply collect it regardless of how poor the experience is.
