Came here for the first time with my wife for lunch. She had the brisket sandwich and I had the turkey/pesto panini. We also had their Sicilian pasta salad. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our sandwiches were made quickly and tasted really good. I'll definitely be back and will try the carnivore sandwich next time.

Hidden gem that you would never know was there. Picked up a turkey sandwich and it hit the spot. Easy to eat on the go. Did a bit of browsing as well. They have some fun additional food stuffs and tools for purchase. Yep, I said tools.

Brisket, pulled pork, bacon, smoked Gouda. This sandwich "The Carnivore" was a piled high with meats and had a nice amount of cheese in the middle. The meats and cheese were both smoked and had a great smoke taste. The ciabatta bread seemed to be as fresh as all the other ingredients. It you're near Napa check out this hidden gem of a deli place and grab you a sandwich.

Good local BBQ spot. The carnivore sandwich and brisket chili are definitely where it's at! Nice roadside bbq joint iron the way to Sonoma.

This spot by no means is bad, it's not, it's a totally fine option and I may have ordered wrong. The menu is a terrific lineup of good sounding sandwiches. I went with the spicy chicken and it had a lot of promise, however 2 things. 1) The smoked chicken was a plenty, but it was dry. I'm wondering: was it dry before they microwaved it or did nuking it completely dry it out? 2) They went a little cray with the aioli - that was basically the only thing you could taste. Not terrible, and it added some moisture into the sandwich, but it definitely was an aioli sandwich. 3) plenty of outdoor seating making it a super cute spot to dine and if ya have kids, let them run around. 4) inside is a big market space, but not a lot of inventory? It's a bit eccentric. 5) prices are super reasonable, especially in Napa. The sandwich was quite filling was $12. Well, that's five things. Overall, solid. Not sure I'd go out of my way for it, but def a solid option!

Holy moley. I love pulled pork. So when I saw pulled pork grilled cheese on the menu, you know what had to order. It's delicious and definitely not for the faint of heart. Heaps of pulled pork and a couple slices of cheese, drenched in barbecue sauce. Prepare to get your hands dirty. It's worth it. The brisket beans also shouldn't be missed. There are plenty of refreshment options. Lots of canned and bottled beers and, of course, wine. This is Napa, after all. The ambience is very down-to-earth and casual. There are only a few tables indoors but lots of picnic tables outside. Bring your family. Bring your friends.

Must have caught Irma on a bad day as she was not only rude on the phone, but also even more so in person. Tried to order 7 sandwiches for our group and was met with a strict rule - which was that they have a 5 sandwich limit because they don't "prep enough" (her words) to handle more than that per order. And where it starts to go downhill is when she said "don't even think about calling back to place a second order" over the phone. When picking these up, we asked again about this limit picking up 5 of the 7 sandwiches we wanted in person - another customer picking up his order overheard and offered to buy 2 sandwiches or order 2 sandwiches under his name for us to pay for them since he wasn't at his limit - as he just learned about it. Nice gesture on his part, but she made it very clear if it wasn't actually for him, she would not allow it. Not only a ridiculous business method, but also blatantly turning away sales. Honestly, we should have just canceled the entire order, but when asked where the nearest sandwich shop that didn't enforce such a rule that we can go to next time, she just threw her hands up and said "I don't know." Paid, tipped and left feeling like we got scolded for lunch. Cannot recommend this place any longer after this encounter and I prefer to try and support wineries and businesses in Los Carneros. Their website also says it's good for groups, but that apparently is not the case. Looked online to see if this limit was mentioned, but I'm not seeing it at the moment from our Google search. Drive a little further down and have the nice folks at Market take care of you instead. They will appreciate your business and you will appreciate lunch more when it's not served with attitude and hostility.

Brisket, pulled pork, ribs and tri tip witb coleslaw and salad and beans.

Worst Brisket Ever. Sorry but I was actually appalled at what masqueraded as brisket - maybe it was cooked for 6 hours? Dry, tough, unseasoned. The tri-tip wasn't too far behind, almost shaved and well done. The ribs were pretty good, the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. Pulled pork and sides were adequate...? I see a lot of posts for the smoked chicken and as I mentioned the ribs were the only saving grace - to other customers if you know anything about BBQ I warn you, don't even bother with beef. To the smokehouse - please do better or stick to what you do well.

Took my granddaughter and daughter over to have lunch/go to the pumpkin patch today and you were closed. Ugh! I didn't depend on Google and went to the actual website. Please, update this. I had a super upset 2 1/2 year old.

We started with the warm artichoke dip served with warm pita bread, so nice. In our group someone tried the soup of the day, but the time I looked over it was gone. There was an order of the Berkshire pork chop, the SF style cioppino, & a shared order of the fried chicken. Everything looked delicious, the person eating the pork chop did state it was a tad basic, yet overall cooked correctly. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes & braised garden greens was well done. The seafood cioppino looked great, did not smell fishy, always a plus. And of course, we had to try the home made donuts - little donuts fried to perfection, served with whipped cream & warm chocolate. Coffees & a cappuccino - we were happy campers. Service was stellar. Ambiance was casual, quiet; it could also be because we were there on a Monday after the weekend, could be very different during the weekend. Had a good evening, will have to stop by again.

Market Up The best…read moreway to sum up the Market at Carneros is by saying that imagine if Whole Foods and 7-11 had a kid, then this would basically be it. A high-end convenience store whose main audience is the high-falutin' folks (avg price to stay is $700-1k/night) who stay at the Carneros Resort & Spa, and are looking for some quick amenities, snacks or alcohol. The Good: *Nice selection of wine on hand, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise. *They do sell sandwiches for picnic lunches *Lots of gifty-type stuff for foodies and fans of the Napa Valley *Mostly everything there is high-quality goods. The Meh: *Prices are high to obscene, which, as I stated before, shouldn't be much of a surprise. *We visited after eating at Boon Fly Café and there wasn't a good way to get from there to the market without going to the door that's marked "Staff Only." This is despite multiple signs in the parking lot that led you towards it. *Most items didn't have price tags which is a pet peeve of mine. But, I guess as the saying goes, if you have to ask... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Ugly: *Service was a bit lacking for such a high-end place. The lady who ended up taking care of us was in the middle of putting together an order (which turned out to be for a resort guest) and made us wait five minutes before she could be bothered to come help us. I've seen other reviews mention the poor service, so this shouldn't be much of a surprise. #Priorties TLDR: Interesting place to look for gifts and goodies, bu be prepared to pay for the privilege.

Lou's Luncheonette in Sonoma, CA, on Highway 12…read more I haven't been back since they revamped Fremont Diner to Lou's Luncheonette. Luved the fried chicken back in the ole Fremont Diner days. Fast forward to present day, I recently got myself to Lou's for lunch. The fried chicken plate is gone off the menu. Instead it is a more concise menu focused on single items versus full entree plates. Casual eats and counter service. Darn cute small diner feel inside. Modern retro country diner aesthetics. The menu focuses on hamburgers (starting at $8), hot dogs ($7+), sides, chicken sandwiches including chicken 'n biscuits ($6), milkshakes, floats, craft beer, ciders, and wine. I studied this menu to figure out what the closest thing to fried chicken would be. I landed on ordering the #1 Chicken biscuit. It's fried chicken, honey butter, and hot sauce on a buttermilk biscuit. Whoa Nelly, that was darn delicious. The fried chicken was boneless light meat. Thick cut with the meat so extremely moist n tender. Crunchy fried and flavorful exterior, seasoned well. Such a satisfying audible crunch. Just like I remembered. I could taste the light touches of hot sauce in the crust. Then that biscuit. Mmm. Heavenly. Crunchy top and bottom with fluffy innards. Each bite was fabulous. You know when you eat something so darn delicious, the noise of the world just fades away. I had a food moment. To top that, it was only $6. Not a bad price compared to the size. Another notable thing to point out are the goats. At the back fence ,of the outdoor seating area, look for the old candy dispenser. Instead of being filled with candy, it's filled with goat feed pellets. Put in a quarter, turn the handle to get the pellets to feed the goats. Let me tell ya, once the goats hear the clicking from that knob being turned.... they all come a running and clamoring towards you. Watch out for the more smarter and aggressive ones that muscle the others to get the primo spot to stick their heads through the fence. Remember they can jump so don't stick your head over the fence unless you want a head bump. I chickened out and didn't hand feed them, instead I tossed the pellets over the fence.
