Alicia took great care of us from start to finish! The coffee down to the service was great! The decor is definitely Instagram worthy! Ok food! Food was... scrumptious! We ordered the Love At First Bite Glazed Waffle Chicken Sandwich, Southern Fried Fish and Grits Bowl, and Deviled Eggs with a fruit bowl. We were eating off each other's food because everything was so good. The presentation of the food was amazing too. If you're in the area I'd suggest you come on in and take advantage of their offerings! You won't be disappointed!
Great restaurant! I went here for brunch and the food was amazing. I had the French toast sandwich with turkey bacon, and it was delicious. In addition, the customer service was excellent and there was plenty of parking available.
if you're looking for a solid brunch spot in Atlanta, hit up Love at First Bite. The food is legit. I tore into their pancakes--they were the real deal, no joke. We got the fish and grits, and he was impressed, said the fish was cooked perfectly and the grits were on point. We washed it all down with some mimosas, which were cold and went down easy. It's a good place to grab a meal, kick back, and start the day right. You won't be disappointed.
If my bill for just me wasn't $98 with tip I may have given 3 stars but with the big price tag on mediocre food, one star is for my server Nadia, and the other is for effort. The grits were under cooked. $7.00 for two greasy pieces of bacon is just wrong! The drink was mid for $18 dollars. I wasn't a fan of the texture of the pancakes but the star of the show was the deviled eggs, unfortunately that was all I enjoyed. Overall I give this place a 3 out of 10

I'm really intentional on places that I visit and this was a great place . Let me start by saying from the entrance until my departure. The ambience was great. I really appreciate it. The great service. My surname was Lala and she was amazing. She made me the best coffee I have ever had in so long and the food was amazing. I would definitely go back here. She did inform me that they will be having a karaoke starting on Thursdays and this place is definitely a great date night or a gathering spot very calm and really nice place to dine in it was raining that day so I was really able to relax and unwind and have a great bite to eat. The music was amazing and the atmosphere gave love love love
I came here for brunch after church with some friends and was happy with my visit. The staff was short this day and seating was limited. We did have a long wait time but the staff on shift still did what they could to accommodate my group of 4. We also had time and did not mind waiting to be seated. The owner even came out to apologize and thank us for our patience. The restaurant is upstairs and has a loft type of layout. There was good music playing that made you want sing and vibe along. We ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Large shrimp. Great flavor. For an entree my partner in crime and i had the Jerk Chicken Pasta and the Shrimp n Grits. Very nice flavors. Large portions 10/10 would recommend :)
Absolutely was love at first bite. Everything was delicious! The deviled eggs with shrimp were packed with soo much flavor. best deviled eggs ive had. I got the chefs French toast sandwich, presentation was beautiful and the dish was very tasty, the perfect balance of sweet and savory! The BLT sandwhich was also worth it and the way they cook their turkey bacon is like none other! Highly recommend! 5 stars all the way!

Ok I only have pictures of my drink because the food looked so good. I dug right in. It was a cute little vibe. All the staff was super friendly, especially the bartender. I had pancakes, which were nice and fluffy, and scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese grits. And I ate every bite! Perfect little brunch spot.
Absolutely love this place. We went on a Sunday for early breakfast (10:30am). We were seated right away. It's a cute small brunch spot. Very quiet. The food was good and well seasoned. I love they had the option of regular bacon and turkey bacon. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. If you're looking for a good tasty (non lit) brunch spot try out love at first bite!
We arrived around a good brunch time (11:00am) so parking was easy. They're sharing a space so we had to go up some stairs to access the restaurant. There is a nice seating area outside the restaurant if there is a wait. We had a reservation so we were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. The decor is really nice and the music was vibin. We had a great waitress and the manager was helpful with assisting us. There was some confusion or miscommunication with speciality items not on the menu and pricing. If the blueberries in the pancakes is an extra cost make customers aware. I also ordered a mimosa flight and I expect the mimosas to come in the traditional champagne flute but it didn't and I guess that's my fault for expecting that. Overall the food was really delicious and the portions are decent for the price. I will definitely be back the food is worth it! Check out my pics and until next time SYOY!
Stellar service and delicious food. I especially appreciate the little touches in the presentation of the food and drinks such as the heart accented toothpicks. The interior was cute and cozy. I will definitely be a retuning customer.

My friend and I visited for Sunday brunch. It's a cutte lil spot, decor gives a nice vibe with a chic clean look for the small space. The food 2 out of 5. I ordered Smoked Gouda Chz Grits Bowl (good), potatoes (nice and hot), Classic French Toast Banana Pudding style, it was a bit dry and I had to ask for syrup. I also tried pancake(waited more than 30 minutes because the server admittedly kept forgetting. Get it together Shelly girl). with eggs & chicken sausage. Over it was nice but everything just seemed, okay. Not spectacular, not fucking amazing or anything special. *shrugs* read more
Stopped here while on vacation for the weekend. I didn't really want to go to a regular breakfast place so I was happy with the upscale vibe when I arrived. It's small and super cute with the decor. The R&B music was the perfect Sunday background music. The service was really good. I got a mimosa, the mimosas here are kind of pricey but they do dress it up and it was good. The food was definitely 5 star worthy, in both taste and presentation. I loved the little flowers with the food. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was so tasty that I had to order a side of it myself. All the food was hot and fresh and very good. I would say the care they seem to put in the food makes it worth the price. Overall I will definitely be back. read more

This place was okay but BOY THEY NEED SOME HELP! We arrived and had about a 35 minute wait. Upon walking upstairs, there's no official host stand. The young lady that's the host is literally walking around clearing tables and taking names on the notes section of her phone. So we walk back up and she's ready for us and asks if my 3 year old can sit at the booth or if she needs her own chair. I'm thinking she asked this because they don't have high chairs. Cool whatever, she's able to sit on her own. We sit, and sit, and sit for about 15-20 minutes before the waiter comes up. We start ordering and he's like "oh she didn't tell y'all?" They were out of a lot of stuff because they had a big party come in and order everything. What??? And instead of just telling us what they were out of, everything we listed off we wanted he told us they were out of. So we stuck to the basics. We ordered the deviled eggs which were basic and runny and had bacon crumbles on top. Cool. The cinnamon chicken biscuit is small. It honestly should be served as an appetizer. My partner ended up eating half of my daughters food to feel satisfied. The breakfast tacos were pretty good except you're only allowed to have turkey bacon or sausage and there's an up charge for chicken sausage. Which isn't written on the menu which I think is a turn off if you're going to say "your choice of meat." They were okay, full of cheese and potatoes but I'd order the skillet instead next time. The spiked lavender lemonade was probably the best thing on the menu but it took forever for the second one to come. I was basically done with my food by the time it came out. All in all, everything was slow AF. Hire some some help and I'll come back. read more

I was visiting the coffee shop on the ground floor when I saw this quaint restaurant. I took a chance and went for brunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The bartenders were very pleasant (every last one of the staff was really) and the food was filling and made to perfection. Give it a try. read more

Had a chance to eat brunch at this amazing spot. The ambience and aesthetics were very pleasing to the eye. Mimosas were on point, and they were not stingy with the champagne baby!!! Overall energy and atmosphere was very peaceful and the energy from our waitress was on point. The deviled eggs were very good and the smoked salmon, potato breakfast skillet was very tasty! Love At First Bite is hit or miss in so many areas. LAFB is a small, quaint place tucked away in an area that will soon be booming. My IG had been highlighting this location so I just had to see what the hype was all about, however, the quaintness of the space is overshadowed by the loud music. The music was so loud that you could not hear the person in front of you. Side note, I'd like to go to an Atlanta restaurant that has a great balance of ambiance, food & drinks, and music. It is so difficult to truly enjoy your experience when you're competing with the music and in our case there was not only a DJ but there was Karaoke so it was really loud. Now to the food and drinks. Outside of the friendly service, the highlight of our experience was indeed the Spiked Lavender Lemonade. I had two and I'm sure you will too. Because this was a Tuesday, the menu was limited to Tacos. Which was fine by me. (However, I would suggest opening the menu to other options especially for those like myself who are not regulars. It could be the determining factor of whether a person would consider coming back.). To start we ordered the coconut shrimp. Unfortunately, they were severely undercooked...they were cold and raw. Our server was gracious enough to get us a new order, which was greatly appreciated. I ordered two Street Tacos and one Chicken Taco. They were both pretty decent and flavorful. I would, however, recommend larger pieces of meat and more ingredients to give a more full flavor of the taco. I won't completely count this restaurant out. I will have to make another visit to taste the more popular options on the menu. read more

Food was ok but way to pricey for the 1.5 inch size that they were literally ridiculous. The service was not great they were out of a menu items at 12pm on a Sunday. The server didn't know much about the food or the drinks apparently because we ordered she walked away came back we are of margaritas in my mind how on a Sunday. I changed the order she came back we are out of that as well. The drinks are WAY TOO PRICEY for what you get but when we looked around the room most of the other people were drinking coffee because OJ was $5 ridiculous soft drinks $3 with 1 free refill. Not a spot I would frequent again unless I'm near but I would not drive 40 minutes again to get there. I try to shop/eat black owned businesses but this will not be getting my money again IG has it way over rated. Oh I forgot to mention the nasty hair the waitress dropped on our table. read more

Where do I start.....I'm a patient person and I do I understand how things happen, but this will be my first and last time. I ordered the love the first bit buttermilk pancakes with grits, bacon and eggs. The Pancakes were not cooked all the way...so gooey! The only good thing I had was the grits. The lux mule I ordered for my drink was horrible. I waited over an hour for my food. No one checked in to say, sorry for the wait! No empathy statement or anything acknowledging the long wait. Kudos Service 5/5 My service was outstanding. Kudos to Bri. She was very patient and spoke with confidence. Also I met the owner and she was very kind and humble. Cleanliness 5/5 I did not check the restroom however everything was very clean. Food 4/5 For starters I ordered the shrimp which was decent and for my main course I ordered chicken & waffles with a side gouda grits . My waffle was a little sweet however delicious. Drinks 4/5 I ordered an berry martini. It was delicious hence I am not a martini girl so I felt it was a little sweet for me. I went to Love At First Bite on a Sunday for brunch. There is a large free parking lot so it wasn't difficult at all to find parking. We walked upstairs to the restaurant and put it name on the list. It was over an hour wait, so we went downstairs to Black Coffee coffee shop to grab a latte and relax. We went back upstairs to check our place in line because we never received any text or notifications. It seems the restaurant is somewhat short staffed because the hostess was also working the floor. Once seated our waitress came to the table to introduce herself and the way the restaurant works. They take orders in the order you were seated (table by table). The restaurant is small, but the decor is nice, and the music is really good. We only ordered drinks and appetizers this time. I got an old fashioned, which was more like straight whiskey with a cherry inside. The deviled eggs w good. The wings were just ok and VERY tiny. The coconut shrimp was good. read more

Finally got to check this spot out Little hidden breakfast/brunch gem over in the Lakewood area. Second visit. Just as delicious as the first. Unlike many restaurants, the food is very well seasoned. The server was cool and I enjoyed my meal. My first visit was on a Friday morning and the vibe was laid back and relaxed. This time I went at lunchtime on a Saturday. Definitely better for a younger crowd. Also, be aware they apply an 18% service charge to all tickets. Be sure to understand that before you pay the bill. All that being said...my meal was delicious and I will return! read more

Cute place. The Spiked Lavender Lemonade was really good. The smoked jerk chicken Philly wasn't my favorite at all. Nothing about it tasted like jerk. Just a regular chicken Philly. Shell was a great server though. read more

Went for the first time with my brother on a Wednesday morning & were told to seat ourselves. Place was super clean and cute. Our server came by with water and silverware and menus. The food was really good flavor and good portion sizes. A little pricey but not crazy. There is an auto gratuity which I didn't realize so I accidentally tipped on top of that. Otherwise great experience just working out some of those new restaurant kinks. I would visit again. Everyone was really nice and parking is easy. read more

First time at this restaurant and honestly I will be returning!! My server Tiffany was just AMAZING!!! There is a very friendly fun atmosphere. The margarita flight is definitely worth it. This place is soooo nice. The decor is on point and it's spotless. The waitress was so so sweet and patient and friendly. She spoke to me as if we have known each other for years. They had one hour to close yet she didn't rush us and gave us time to look over the menu. I ordered the salad and the fruit parfait. Both were so good and the presentation was very nice. My friend ordered the chicken Philly and didn't leave a crumb the drinks were amazing too. More guests came and the waitress was still so friendly and sweet with everyone even though they were 30 minutes from closing time. By the way they close at 4pm on certain days. I will definitely return. I didn't get the waitress name but she is from Covington in case she gets this. I want to thank her again for being so professional and sweet!! read more

Music in restaurant was extremely loud. I was able to sit at any table, because I was the only patron in the restaurant. Service was attentive. Food was quick and very hot. Excellent taste. The Banana Pudding French Toast was a special, and great recommendation from server. The restaurant is small. No hostess stand. Restaurant is upstairs. Restaurant does not offer reservations because of the size. Great tasting food, but the loud music would probably cause me to avoid this place in the future. read more

The ambiance was very nice. Definitely a chill brunch location and free parking is always a bonus. We started with bacon deviled eggs, which we were also given the option to sub out the bacon for fried shrimp. The deviled eggs were an 8.5/10. For our main course we order the chicken and waffles and fish and grits. Everything came out nice and hot. 10/10. The service was great! The hostess and waitress were kind and attentive. Overall, if I need a nice quick meal, I would stop by again. read more
