First time visiting Sweet Auburn Brunch, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The vibe is lively, and the menu has so many options it honestly makes choosing a challenge. The honey hot deviled eggs were a standout -- creamy with a great balance of sweet and spicy. The jerk chicken grilled cheese panini was flavorful, filling, and well-seasoned. The homestyle potatoes, however, were a bit underwhelming for me. They weren't crispy at all and were actually pretty soft, which was disappointing since I was really hoping for more of a crunch. Service was excellent and definitely a highlight of our visit. Our waitress was attentive, checked in often, and gave us great suggestions from the menu, which helped a lot since it was our first time there. She really made us feel taken care of. The restaurant did get busy and a little loud, but that's expected during brunch hours. Overall, great food, great service, and a solid first impression. Let me just start with the good... The food is phenomenal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. However, the service sucks! Our server was great when she came to our table, but everything was a 20 minute plus wait. After we got our appetizers we had to wait about another 20-25 minutes for plates and silverware after asking two times. We were told they were washing the dishes. We finally just went on ahead and ate the food with no plates because we were tired of waiting. Luckily, it was the Lobster Deviled eggs and they were delicious. I ordered the Island Breeze cocktail. It was very good, but I was a little disappointed that it had no garnish. I personally like my drinks to be dressed up with some type of garnish. Also, my fiancé ordered a sweet tea. It was nothing but sweet water. We told the server this and she said she was sorry because she wasn't good at making tea but would remake it. The remake was a little browner but still did not look or taste like tea. Now back to the service, they really need to work on that. I saw one couple get up and leave because no one came to service them for a long time. For my entree, I ordered the Catfish and Grits. Amazing!!! It was seasoned perfectly and the catfish had a great crunch. The grits are good. The remoulade on my catfish and grits was pretty tasty. I've definitely had better but it was good. My friend ordered the Salmon BLT. She said it was great. It definitely looked good. The bacon on it looked substantial and thick. My fiancé ordered the chicken and waffles. She said it was amazing. The waffle was prepared exactly how she likes it. I tasted the waffle and it was good. It had a bit of a crisp to it but the internal was very tender. I also ordered the Grilled Corn Ribs. Oooh weee they make you wanna call on Jesus. They were so juicy! They had this Parmesan like seasoning on it. I also had the red velvet cake and it was super moist. Just a wonderful, good flavor. All in all, the food was amazing. Our server, who I learned at the end, was also the manager, had great energy, and was very friendly and polite when she came to our table. However, the service is horrible. We asked four times for our ticket before finally getting up and walking to the bar and paying. Additionally, I feel like the place could use a little refresh. The decor is basic. The sound system was horrible and the ceiling was missing a couple of tiles. Also, there is this step down that needs to have a yellow stripe or something to let people know there is a step down. The entire floor is black. My friend said she almost didn't notice it and could have fallen. There is a $200 dollar private VIP room in the back but you get nothing with it, just privacy. No bottle service! That's a bit much. So, do I recommend Sweet Auburn Brunch??? Maybe, if you have nothing but time on your hands, sure! But if you got something to do, this ain't the spot for you. read more

The area is a bit sketch and you will be parking on the street. We were greeted and asked if we had a reservation, we didn't, but still got seated promptly. It was a good bit of people there wasn't super noisy and a nice vibe. Service is slow so pack your patience. It took a while to order... to get drinks... to get food. We were also not the only ones who experienced this, as another had to get up and find someone to get their orders taken. The drinks were good and the food was great. The Maui grits were amazing and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I will say I expected a "lit brunch" atmosphere and it wasn't that... maybe Sundays. We were in town for a convention and thought the menu here looked good. It is not a good sign when you walk up to a brunch spot and there is a security guard letting people in. The staff was pleasant but service was slow. We ordered the jerk chicken panini and croissant french toast. The chicken had a good flavor but was definitely not a panini as it came delivered on a soggy hot dog bun that they didn't even attempt to grill. My croissant french toast was actually 2 hamburger buns fried like French toast. The food was absolutely not as advertised and I feel like I paid downtown menu prices for backyard food. 10 out of 10 will not be returning. read more

Went for brunch with friends. Sat at the bar. Parking was easy since we were there pretty early, 11am. We did street parking..$4. Regarding the spot, I can't give you a review on a full 'vibe'...like I said we were there early but the music was good and staff. Bartender, Kia, was cool and personable. We did order after a while. I found this location on TikTok and decided to try them out for my birthday on 2/15/26, which turned out to be the best decision ever. I had a ladies brunch with 9 of my friends and had an amazing time. When I made my reservation with Kodak, he knew it was my birthday and made sure to give me a birthday drink when I arrived and seated my party and I in an area away from everyone else. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived to the table hot and good! I had the fried catfish and grits which I will definitely recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meal. First, they need to have associated services update their address. Its 171, but doesn't tell you the suite or in G Maps, the "P" is at the end. Very weird. Service is cringe. Walked in and sat for 15 mins. No one asked for drink order, appetizers, nothing. Waitresses walk by extremely casually as though you aren't and haven't been sitting here unattended. They seem to have one track minds, like, a waitress went to clean the table next to us, picked up 2 of the 4 glasses and mozzied into the kitchen, then dragged back out to get the other two glasses and a plate, then went back and came again to wipe the table. There is a lot of positive things to say about Sweet Auburn Brunch. Parking is available by valet for $5 next door to the establishment. Upon entering the restaurant is beautiful but I felt like it could do with a good mopping the floor looks dirty but I wasn't sure if that was "the look" or not. Our server Roxanne did a great job of serving us. I will say I appreciate servers that clear as they go along and had to ask her to collect the menus and clear our appetizer plates. The food was delicious and everything ordered was hot and tasty. Deviled lobster eggs were good however one had a salmon bite on top and was not replaced ( I didn't appreciate that) but it was delicious. The food was amazing as long as it is completely cooked. I ordered the Crab stuffed Salmon over lobster pasta. It was delicious, on the first try the salmon was undercooked, but they did accommodate me a remake the order. The live music was a great addition to the ambience of the day.
