Holy cow, I don't even know where to begin. Our investment in EVENTful Moments and Sarah was the best money we spent on the entire wedding. To say "you need her" is an understatement. We found Sarah by word of mouth from other clients of hers, and her company has the reviews to back up everything that's said about her and EVENTful Moments. Sarah has done the weddings of three of my family friends and another planner with her company to doing my best friend's wedding next summer. Sarah and her knowledge is invaluable to a bride. She is an expert on everything wedding related. Her attention to detail and her level of organization gave me so much comfort throughout our 18 month planning process. She thought of everything I didn't, and even things I didn't even know I needed to think about. Sarah is also a top-notch communicator, which wins her favor with clients and her fellow vendors. That was one of my favorite things about her! She was so responsive to texts and emails, I honestly don't know how she does it. She coordinated all our vendors, drop off and pick up of rentals, table set up, and she even collected all of our gifts, cards, and DIY objects for us to take home at the end of the evening. Just for some insight into the finer details...Sarah and her team picked up multiple smashed glasses on the dance floor, brought the bride and groom drinks and food after the ceremony, fixed a stain on a bridesmaid's dress before walking down the aisle, and probably a dozen other things I didn't even realize - which is exactly the point of a planner. Our wedding was on 5/13/17 and we were engaged for a little over a year. We were on the fence about getting a planner, and a bunch of articles and reviews led us to calling Sarah, and we are so glad we did! We didn't even interview any other planner before hiring. We hit it off at our first meeting and she put us at ease about the whole process. Sarah offers a few different levels of service, from basically just examining contracts to planning every little thing for you. We took the goldilocks approach and still planned our own wedding, but were kept on track and nudged along. She helped us organize our budget. We decided what we wanted to spend and she had us prioritize elements, such as pictures vs. music vs. flowers. She then gave us the best excel spreadsheet ever that kept our spending in check. We put more money into pictures and less into flowers, and once I had leftover cash from saving on my dress, I could see how it all fit in on the sheet. It saved many a headache from forming, and we ended up a few thousand dollars under budget! We saved a TON of money. We went with a lot of Eventful's Preferred Vendors, most of whom offered us discounts for being EM clients. We also had the peace of mind that these people (florist, DJ, limo service, photographer, videographer) were very good at their jobs or else they wouldn't be preferred. Also, Sarah knows all of these people personally and so when we occasionally wouldn't hear back from someone for a while (emails get lost), she would call them up and they'd respond immediately. It was awesome. Sarah responds to emails and texts, and when I had a question she always had an answer. Most recently, I hadn't heard from my photographer and didn't know if it was appropriate or too early to email him asking when our pictures would be finished, so I texted Sarah and she told me that now is a good time to send a quick email asking about it. It helps a bunch knowing that someone in the business can answer questions you didn't even know you had. Sarah is friendly and professional and really knows her stuff. A day of coordinator was one of the first things we booked for our June 2016 wedding and we are so glad we booked Sarah and her team! We interviewed a couple other event coordinators and Sarah stood out to us-- she had many great recommendations but was not too overpowering, letting us have our own vision for the wedding. She is very sweet and awesome at her job. She answered all of my emails within a day, sometimes within a couple minutes! Prior to the wedding, Sarah put together a to-do list and kept me on track with planning. She would bring up things that I would have totally forgotten about. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing because she handled it all! She also has a great eye for design. I didn't really have anything planned for our head table, but Sarah took a bunch of extra flowers and votives and made it look beautiful and like it was planned all along! She also has rental items that you can rent from her, which is very convenient. Having an event coordinator helped a lot, I feel like wedding planning would have been way more stressful without one. The moment I met Sarah, I knew that I wanted to have her be involved in my wedding. After debating about spending the money, we hired Eventful Moments for day of coordination. Sarah was incredibly helpful throughout my 18 month wedding planning process. I could ramble on for awhile about our positive experiences throughout the whole process, but I will highlight three main reasons: 1) Sarah is an excellent communicator. She listened to me and understood my vision, and had great suggestions of how to make that vision a reality. She provided great & honest recommendations for other vendors. I sent her a ton of emails and she is very quick, professional, positive, and helpful in every response. At one point, she sensed that I was a little stressed out and called me just to check in. She could tell I was stressed and suggested a few things she could take off my plate. She communicated with all the vendors in the last month (so helpful!!), and worked out so many of the last minute details flawlessly. 2) Sarah is organized and offers an extremely valuable service for brides that are stressed, busy, or just need a little extra support with all the final details. She developed customized timelines and tools to communicate all the details with everyone involved. She facilitated my rehearsal, which went surprisingly smooth with my massive wedding party (including 8 children. My new husband said this about Sarah - "She is very organized, positive, and she provided great guidance without trying to take over the day". 3) Sarah has magical solutions to everything. She (and her awesome colleague Jenna) have clearly done this many times before. When my dress ripped and layers fell off right before I walked down the aisle, Sarah had the supplies to quickly sew the layers back on me so no one would noticed. When someone spilled a glass of red wine down the front of my dress, Sarah had stain removal supplies and made the dress look new again. I am positive that Sarah & Jenna fixed or resolved several hiccups during the day that I never even heard about. They both remained positive and supportive, and worked incredibly hard to make sure it all went well until the very end. I initially hired Eventful Moments because I wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the wedding day, and not have to direct and think about all the event planning details. We ended up getting WAY more support and guidance throughout the whole wedding planning process. When I first started planning my wedding I thought I could manage to handle doing it all without a coordinator, but as we got within a year out from our wedding I quickly realized in order to keep my sanity and truly enjoy our wedding day that having someone take the reins on the day-of was absolutely necessary...cue Sarah and her team at EVENTful Moments. From the very first e-mail exchange I knew I was going to be in very good hands with her. Sarah was always prompt in answering any of my e-mails and full of great suggestions!! In addition to the day-of coordination she also provided several decorative rental pieces for our space. She has an incredible inventory of beautiful decor that cannot be passed up and will truly transform any space. A month out from the wedding Sarah took charge of contacting all of our vendors and making sense of our day-of timeline based on the time period we had each of them for - I know there's no way I could have done that (sanely) without her. A week before our big day we were starting to get worried about the "storm of the century" that was being covered all over the news, but in exchanging emails with her and feeling her sense of calmness it really helped me to feel the same way. When it came to the rehearsal everyone commented to us at one point or another that she executed the best rehearsal any of them had been part of and put us all at ease. On the day of she handled everything flawlessly. I was told by many people that I seemed very relaxed in the hours leading up to the ceremony and I KNOW without a doubt that its because of Sarah and Jenna. She was fantastic at keeping us on schedule and where we needed to be. If anything odd happened I had no idea. I will absolutely be recommending her to all brides!!! Sarah kept me calm the day off the wedding knowing everything would be picture perfect, but for the entire year I was planning. I cannot put into words how much I recommend Eventful Moments! I hired Jessica for day of wedding coordination for my wedding at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville, WA. Working with Jessica was beyond easy and more than I could have hoped for. When planning my wedding I did a ton of research on vendors and asked many of my friends as well for their recommendations. I found Eventful Moments through the Snohomish wedding show and they were also highly recommended by my photographer. After looking at their website and emailing with them, I knew that I would be in good hands and that they would deliver what I was looking for. From the start, Jessica was so delightful, friendly and easy to work with. I couldn't believe how responsive she always was. She was very knowledgeable about the industry and clearly very passionate about what she does. The process of planning all the details of a wedding was certainly overwhelming and a huge project, but having Jessica there made it a hundred times easier for me! I honestly could not have imagined doing it any other way. Hiring Eventful Moments was worth the cost and so much more! Jessica made me feel very special throughout the entire process. I know I wasn't the only bride she was working with, but she always made it feel like I had her full attention and that she was always there for me if I needed her for anything. She met with me a few months before my wedding, did my venue walk through, ran the rehearsal and coordinated the wedding day. In between that, she answered endless emails from me. She was so organized with coordinating all the vendors and details. She thought of things I never would have thought of. My family and I all got to enjoy the wedding day with such ease knowing that everything was being taken care of, we literally didn't have to worry about a thing. My bridesmaids kept commenting on how calm I was all morning when we were getting ready - I just kept saying that I did the best I could to be organized and handed it all over to Jessica and fully trusted that she would get it all setup and executed in a way that would be amazing. I was blown both with how perfect the day went and how perfect everything looked. I truly have her to thank! I am an Interior Designer and had a very detailed vision of how I wanted the venue to look. I organized the boxes of décor, handed them over to her the wedding morning and that was all I had to do that day. The end of the night every single last item came right back to us organized in the boxes. It was all just so easy! Choosing EVENTful Moments and hiring Sarah as our day of coordinator was seriously the best decision throughout the whole wedding planning process that my husband and I ever made! Sarah's quick responses to e-mails was so comforting, and would answer any of our questions. Right away Sarah met with my husband and I to introduce herself and go over her services and we instantly knew that everything would be okay with Sarah's assistance. About 6 weeks out from our wedding we met with Sarah at our venue to go over logistics and she helped us create a To-Do List that we had NO IDEA we needed and it was so helpful! The day of...I texted Sarah in a panic forgetting so many little small items but was instantly reassured because she replied back right away and said she had them in her emergency kit bag. Her and her wonderful assistant set up all of our tables with linens and centerpieces, all of our other decorations, and checked-in with the wedding party and myself regularly. At the end of the night...Sarah and her assistant packed up all of the linens and decorations, and she had packed up containers of food and cake to take back to our hotel which was the best thing ever! Her professionalism and warmth, her correspondences with our other vendors, and more importantly her patience with the mother of the bride :) was so appreciative!
