I've been wanting to visit Love Eatz for awhile now and finally did today. The location is right off the 99 and it's located in a parking lot so plenty of spaces. I got the Love Burger which is the same as the classic but with the addition of lettuce, walla walla onion pieces and pickles. This burger slaps. It's perfectly crispy, juicy, and the toppings are amazing (I got mine without pickles). It's greasy but that comes with the territory. The fries were good. Nothing crazy special but tasty nonetheless! They include a side of their Love Sauce to dip them in. Pretty pricey, BUT I expected it, especially seeing we live in a trump world. read more

I am so picky when it comes to smash burgers and Love Eats checked all the boxes. The patty was smashed so beautifully thin and the edges were perfectly crispy. We loved the grill onions and the sauce was really unique, quite tangy...I really liked it. It made for a great bite on the burger and for fry dipping. It would've been a 5 star smash experience for me had our patties had the absolutely necessary crunchy smashed edges. Overall a really good smash burger with good fries and a drink. Love how they use local Walla Walla Onions and wonder if anything else is local like the meat or potatoes. The love burger itself was great and one of the better smash burgers in the Portland area I've tried. The bun was super sold and the onions were a great add. I wish it was a tiny bit cheesier but still delicious and I devoured the entire thing. The fries were also a 8/10 for me. They almost look burnt but I promise they are not. It means a great crispy outside and soft fluffy inside. The only downside for me was that they were seasoned a little too much and each finger grab ended up with a ton of salt on my fingertips. The ranch and fry dip were also great (love the ranch and special sauce). Both drinks were delicious and tasted fresh. Super nice girl running the food cart. I got a passionfruit lemonade and it was so good. Fries were OK. The Berger had a perfect char but way too much love sauce on it so I couldn't really taste the meat. The overabundance of sauce coupled with a very dense potato bun (or whatever it was, just too thick) will I get me to have to throw out more than half of my burger; $18 for a combo with drink and fries is a little bit on the high end. I really enjoy the flavor, the fries are crinkle my favorite and the dipping sauce is the bomb, lots of flavor make sure to ask for extra. The cook is super friendly and quick at getting the burgers ready. He has a bench for those that want to eat on the spot. The location is across the street from the Astro gas station on Highway 99. Very nice young lady took my order after I consulted with Lonnie. They were busier than one might think on such a cold, drizzly and windy day. Lonnie is a food machine who works seamlessly with his assistant. I received my freshly prepared order in what seemed like two minutes. Amazing! The Food: Perfectly Cooked Crinkle Fries with a delicious custom blend of seasonings! Delicious Organic Beef Patty seared and smashed with cheese melted just right! The next ingredients are usually where most burger places lose points- but Lonnie nailed it with a great bun, freshly shredded lettuce, sweet onion and tasty pickles. However, what really put Love Eatz offerings over the top is Lonnie's own Love sauce! You may want to bathe in it! On a nicer day I would gladly ate at the clean, covered table but I also had things to do. It's not often that a chef like myself finds a place he falls in love with yet here it is! The owner was really nice it's a one man operation he has a basic menu they is self explanatory. I ordered the classic combo smash burger wow it was just yall sauced up and seasoned with a nice serving of crinkle fries just the way I like them. I savored every bite and enjoyed the flavor. I have been on a quest recently to find a really great Smashburger in the Portland/Beaverton area. I now believe I have found it at Love Eatz Smashburger. Placed in a little shopping center, at the intersection of SW Pacific Highway (99W) and Walnut Place, in Tigard, with covered picnic tables, you'll find this little gem. The staff are friendly and helpful and a pleasure to work with. The smash burger is delightful and full of great flavor, with just the right amount of drippy deliciousness and melted cheese. It is a bit messy to eat, but that is just the way a good Smashburger should be. I got the combo which comes with fries and a drink. The fries were crunchy and tasty, with a wonderful spice combination sprinkled on them, and a tasty dipping sauce. I opted for a marionberry lemonade, which added $3.00 to my order, but is was so good and refreshing that it was truly worth it.
