The hotdog from this place are amazing. I mentioned today that I wish they had chili and cheese. They said they did. I was stoked. However. Hotdog dogs are $4.95 they charge four dollars to add chili and cheese to EACH hotdog. If it was homemade chili cool, maybe but lukewarm canned chili that cost $.96 a can and a slice of cheese, not even melted for four bucks is madness. So all total I paid $22 for 2 hotdogs with cold canned chili and unmelted slice cheese

Stopped by the good ol' Home Depot for a few things for the house and needed a little snack before we went to go into the store for our items. We saw someone grilling up some chicken from the bbq at this shop and decided to stop by. The convince of the faculty is great and super fast. We received a complimentary taste of their teriyaki sauce with the chicken with was nice. They make their own teriyaki sauce which is great! Support small local businesses if you are in the Tigard area! Fast hot dogs, great service & affordable prices!

I got their kalbi burger and I could really taste the Korean flavors as it had a mixture of sweet and savory. It was a bit sweeter than I expected. The burger tasted alright but for me, nothing outstanding. We also ordered the basil truffle fries. The texture was alright but I wish it had more truffle flavor. I couldn't really taste it nor the basil. The chicken nuggets were okay, typical nuggets. I'm glad I tried but maybe eating it in person would've made it more fresh and the buns would be less soggy. I really liked the little cow we found in our fries. It was quite small though, good thing the toddler we ate with didn't take it and attempt to eat it.

Coleslaw was mid (lacking seasoning and, that pinch of sugar) Fish was well seasoned (a few parts of the batter wasn't all the way cooked). Drinks were strong and, very good. Service~We were seated in the inside but, my husband didn't like the coldness from the waitress. So I asked the hostess if we could move outside (they immediately accommodate even though it busy). We got the most down the earth and, sweetest waitress. She knew the menu, brought out wine to taste (but I am not a wine drinker unless it's all that being served and, if I want a drink). She even suggested certain dishes that were popular. Ambiance~It's was very dark in the inside. But, the patio has a great view, warm, and very welcoming. Restroom in the back to the right. To be honest, when our plans to go bowling and have lunch at Big Al's today fell through because…read morethey didn't open till 3, but we still wanted to eat (and hadn't had breakfast yet at 1:30), I tried every option I could think of to not go to Bannings. When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!

I had t the Turkey, Bacon, and Swiss Croissant. Not sure if the sandwich was heated, or if it was under the heat lamp too long. as it was slightly warm. She also had a can of Vortex and it was cold and fresh. To me, the best part was the requested tartar sauce for the french fries. I tasted a hint of tarragon and it was so good. We did not have any pie as we were full. I just feel that 18.25 and 18.95 +2.00 for black bean is too expensive. $20.95 is just too high for a taco salad. Megan was also excellent as our server. She was very friendly and engaging. We will be back when in the area if we have the need.

We had our little dog with us so I was happy to see they had a dog friendly patio. It was a warm day and the staff immediately brought her out a bowl of water, which was a thoughtful gesture and shows the level of service they offer to their patrons. Our server, I believe her name was Casey, was lovely. She was friendly and seemed to know a lot of the regulars by name which gave the restaurant a welcoming feel. I ordered the Danish pancakes (Æbleskiver), and they were absolutely delicious. They came with house-made lemon curd and lingonberry jam, and both were incredible. The lemon curd was rich and creamy with just the right amount of tartness, while the lingonberry jam added a sweet-tart flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy pancakes. Four of them were more than enough to fill me up. My husband ordered the Pytt i Panna, a traditional Swedish hash made with crispy potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, topped with two soft-baked eggs and served with pickled beets and Nordic rye toast. It was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor. The pickled beets were a nice contrast to the savory hash, and everything on the plate was scrumptious! Between the delicious food, welcoming service, and dog-friendly patio, we had a very nice time and it was a good send-off before our walk through the woods to find Ole Bolle. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in the area.

A fantastic place to start the day. We came early for the Old Bolle Troll (can visit anytime during…read moredaylight hours) and then came back Broder Soder for brunch at 8AM (Saturday) - no wait upon opening despite having a group of 6. We started with the cardamom latte (rich and nutty) and the matcha marzipan (sweet and with enough aromatic almond flavor) and then proceeded to feast. We started with the Danish pancake donuts- lovely in that they were both savory and sweet, comes with lemon curd and jam. The lefse breakfast was really interesting - a layered thicker 'crepe' with cheese and egg. The fish plate was our family favorite - an epic collection of shrimp, mini shrimps, gravlax, pickled herring (our favorite) various breads, crackers and sauces. Very well presented, fun to eat, and enough to share. We also ordered the Swedish meatballs - rich hearty but small and few (5 total). Luckily, we had plenty of other food and this dish was great with sherry mushroom sauce and a delicious potato latke-like side. Our server was also incredibly personable, friendly, and helpful in our food choices which we always appreciate.
