Love this place, Great Food, Good Location. You will not be disappointed if you stop by and have a smash burger. Very Tasty

Frank Gallagher hot dog for Portland Mercury wiener week!

We came here for Portland Mercury's Weiner week to try their special hot dog. It did not disappoint. It was a smash burger with a hot dog on top!! It was covered with cheese, nacho cheese, grilled onions and smash burger sauce on top of a potato bun. The smash sauce is so tasty! We also tried the Cluck boi. It's basically a chicken finger on a squishy bun with delicious smash sauce and pickles. Perfect size for that in between lunch and dinner meal. The crinkle fries were ok, they needed salt and were a little dry. We ordered the nacho cheese which was not great. I wish I would have ordered the smash sauce to dip my fries in.

It's nice that this location is 5 mins from our new house. We got the Jr. Smashy, Smashy, & reg fries with a side of cheese sauce. The fries and cheese sauce were great! I'm glad I gave this location a try because I tried the other location and it wasn't my fave. But the fries today, from this location were so yummy and the cheese sauce made me very happy. :) Next time I think I'll try the Deluxe Boi. It's nice that this location is next to a Bar. Parking is a bit scarce but that's no fault of MCSB. Great idea to be next to a bar because that's a lot of visibility!

UPDATED REVIEW! We went back to Mid City Smash Burger and it's been excellent. Ian is an awesome chef and our family loved the burgers. I don't always like the overcooked smashed burger style if they are too well done. But Ian has been great at cooking em so they are still flavorful and juicy. Def check out Mid City Smash Burger!

    Deluxie boi

I got the deluxie boi and the burger patty itself had a great texture and taste. Fantastic crisp edges and bold flavor. It was complemented well by the condiments and extras- I especially liked how much crunch the pickle slices had. I'll definitely be back but hopefully next time there's parking. The lot it resides in is very small and is shared with Uptown Beer and I had to park at the business park across the street around late afternoon happy hour time.

The food is always so delicious, the pricing is amazing and the service is next level. I love that this place is so close to my house because it's one of my favorite spots. 10/10 would recommend!

6pm on a Saturday, with an open sign on, and it was closed. Somebody was in the truck but was not taking orders. Not coming back here again.

Between the genuinely friendly hospitality and the flavor combinations, this spot hits it out of the park and is a must for sandwich lovers. Griddled Mortadella (5/5): An incredibly delicious sandwich that perfectly balances rich, salty, and savory flavors. It comes loaded with a generous portion of grilled mortadella and melted provolone cheese, perfectly moistened with a tangy mustard aioli. The fresh lettuce and bell peppers added a satisfying crunch to every bite. Chefwich - K-Town Steak Sandwich (5/5): A limited-time creation packed into a banh mi roll. It had a generous portion of perfectly tender and sweet bulgogi steak that pairs with their melted jack cheese. The gochujang mayo sauce had a subtle and sweet heat, while the fresh kimchi added crunch and slight acidity to balance the rich meat. Elote Tater Tots (5/5): Definitely a creative side dish. The tots were perfectly fried and topped elote style with cotija cheese, pairing well with the smoky chipotle mayo on the side. Logistics Tip: Street parking is surprisingly easy to find in the surrounding area, even on a busy weekend evening. The restaurant has a spacious layout with plenty of seating options both inside and outside. If you're a first-timer, don't hesitate to ask the staff for suggestions, as they're exceptionally warm, welcoming, and passionate about the menu.

We walked down here on a beautiful day after wedding deletes shopping, so spirits were high. Located on a busy corner, but with plenty of outdoor seating, Lardo is a good place to have lunch on a Saturday. I have nothing to say about the parking sitch. My daughter and I shared the Willamette Reuben and her friend ordered the Italian Flag. We shared the Lardo fries. Oh man, the Reuben was perfection! The flavor of the meat and everything on the sandwich, from texture to flavor--chef's kiss! We heard that the Italian Flag was excellent too. Definitely, you can share a sandwich especially if you're having fries. The fries were delicious--crispy and flavorful on the outside, perfectly hot and mushy on the inside. Yum!

There's also plenty of seating outside and covered tent seating. It took about 12-15 minutes for the food to be served which was ideal. I also tried the sellwood and I have to say, both are really tasty. I got the small Smasher without pickles and with grilled onions and split small fries with my sister. The burger came to the table with pickles but easy to remove on my own. The flavor of the burger was delicious after a long day of walking. The ingredients tasted very fresh. The fries were a good thickness and had a beer battered taste. I love that there's a ketchup bottle for you at the table. You can also grab ketchup packets and other sauces near the fountain drink station. The towel roll at the tables was great. Didn't have to get up and get napkins. The food arrived within 10 minutes of seating. Water cups are available. If you're feeling adventurous you can try the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger. There's two restroom stalls. One of them needed to be cleaned but the employee at the counter was kind enough to warn me. Code is needed to enter the restrooms. There's a changing station, manual flush toilet, automatic towel dispenser, and changing station. The employees were chill and seemed to have a good relationship with each other.
