Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I came into the store to pick up a few items for a friend. There was a simple mix up about which location she had called, so I asked two sales associates for help finding the items so I could make my purchase and leave. Instead of helping, both employees acted like I was an inconvenience. One associate remained on the phone and spoke negatively about me while I was standing in the store. It was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Rather than providing even the most basic level of customer service, they chose to ignore me and gossip about a customer. When I realized I wasn't going to get any assistance, I decided to leave. To make matters worse, one of the associates actually expected me to apologize for asking them to do their job. I've never experienced anything so ridiculous in a retail store. This business seriously needs to reevaluate its customer service standards. Employees who treat customers with contempt should not be representing the store. Between the overcrowded, frustrating parking situation and the rude, dismissive staff, there is absolutely no reason to shop here, especially with the prices they charge. I will not be back, and I certainly will not recommend this store to anyone. There are plenty of businesses that appreciate their customers. This is not one of them. read more

Bought a corset here, take it home and try it on and within 10 minutes, the zipper breaks. Immediately take it off, put everything back in the bag, then take it back to the store the next week. Store manager says they do not do returns or exchanges (which, for a shop like this, I'd usually understand) but calls the owner of the company anyway and asks if they could make an exception and give me store credit. Store owner says NO, that I need to call the manufacturer and ask them to replace it... Who would want another one, considering the first one broke within 10min? The store manager told me she was sorry, but that she was going to send me on my way with some "goodies" for my trouble.... whatever that means? I don't want samples, I want my $75 back.... And no.... it was definitely NOT in "perfect working condition" when I left the store. The zipper is broken, and cheaply made to break after being worn for 10 minutes. At no point did the staff member look at it with me and decide it wasn't broken. That did not happen. I will never shop here again, and would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Although supposedly under new management, the staff will follow you around to help sell you items but when it comes to check out, there always seems to be a new girl who doesn't know how to process or log in to the register correctly. Staff also looks half hazardly put together. Or they seem so shy you don't even trust their judgement on products. Some bottled, sensitivity items you can ask if there are testers for taste or feel etc....the staff seems to be intimidated by management and can't be empowered to open a bottle as a tester so you can buy based on your sample. Once we where done she said we also had a black one. We told her we only had two and even showed our skin to show we had NOTHING. She threatened to look at the cámaras and even made us walk through the tag detectors. Nothing. She then asked us to leave. Told us she's not crazy, she obviously needs to work on her memory. So I really needed a very specific fetish item in a pinch and didn't have time to wait on an online order. I assumed I wouldn't find what I needed because no other place in Denver has a good quality single tail whip just on the self, but it was the only place I had not tried so I figured it was worth stopping in. WORST STORE EVER! Save your money and your dignity and go to Fascinations. My boyfriend and I, who are both WELL over 18 and definitely look it, walked into the shop. The "manager" without greeting us or even a "please" demanded, "IDs." When my boyfriend showed him an expired military ID (only expired by 2 months) and told the manager that he didn't have a current one yet, he stated, in a very condescending, patronizing tone, "Well now that isn't very safe. You really better get that taken care of." We walked off and immediately left, to which the manager snidely said, "Guess we didn't have what you were looking for, huh?" This place is not nearly as bad as it was back in 2010. The ladies that work here now are friendly and helpful. The selection is not as good as fascinations but most essentials like lube are less expensive. Some variety when it comes to woman's box lingerie. Barely anything for men's lingerie. Dvds don't have much organization either but they always have deals. The thing I dislike about here the most is that if you buy a defective product you can't exchange it. They battery test things before you take it home but that doesn't mean it's not defective. read more

I wouldn't give them one star if it wasn't required! I couldn't even make it in the door! I parked my car in the parking lot and one of the employees comes running out shouting that I can't park there and have to go across the street. I kept asking why and she said it's for customers only. I said I was a customer. The woman proceeded to start cursing at me and I told her I would now not be a customer and would inform my friends. She kept cursing at me and called the police and her manager, after threatening to swing at me. The manager came out and took on a tough guy stance with me and started circling around me, calling me a towelhead, whore, and other stuff like that. She said she would press charges for assault, though I did nothing. Both of them started saying "we're off the clock, so we can hit you it we want." Both then said they don't want "my kind" in the store anyway. I don't think any kind should go if this is how they treat their customers! Finally the cops came and took care of the two. This is absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My wife and I made a purchase; before leaving the store the clerk tested the product to see if it would work. It didn't but she assured us it just needed charging. Charging didn't resolve the problem. The next day we tried to exchange the broken product for a functioning one. We were informed that the product would have to be sent back to the manufacturer. After arguing that it was defective when sold and that they should bear the responsibility for correcting the situation we finally left in frustration. The staff were very rude and obviously not interested in retaining my future business. There are far better alternatives for this type of product. read more

People beware! DO NOT spend your hard earned money at Christal's on Parker Road in Aurora, CO. I will never shop there again. Bought 4 videos a week ago. One of them didn't work in my DVD player. Called store w/in the 7 day return window. Took the movie back as they had to see if the video played on their store DVD player which it did. So they had me take the video back to try again at home. Same prob. Disc wouldn't load, then got error message. Mind you the other 3 movies worked fine at home. Called store to tell that I was having same issue & if I could plz come & exchange the 1 movie. Up to this point, I had been led to believe that I could exchange. Yesterday, they gave me a bunch of crap that they weren't going to xchange cause movie played on their machine. I said well that's fine but I am unable to use in my home and if I have spent money, then I have a right as a buying customer to have a working product. They basically said too bad, this was their policy coming from corporate. However, this company has no "corporate" number even on the web cause I looked. I asked to speak w/ a manager or sup but they wouldn't provide or pass the info to whomever is in charge. The young lady ended up hanging up on me as I was politely stating that it was wrong of them in how they were choosing to handle my situation. I could see if I came to them a Long time after the purchase but I didn't. I notified immediately within the 7 day return policy which is printed on receipt. I would think that this company would want to do what's best for customer & operate in good, ethical business practices. Very poor business in my opinion. I give this store a poor rating. They don't even have much product in store and WILL NEVER TAKE MY BUSINESS there again and I suggest that YOU DONT EITHER! read more
