I visited here to get a full acrylic set on Sunday. The nail design did turn out cute, but my experience was not sanitary. First, the nail tech cut my fingers TWICE with the drill (see pictures) and did not stop or change the file tip to ask if I was okay. Then, I noticed that the barbicide was an opaque color of dark green or brown with floating debris at the bottom (see picture). As a cosmetologist I know that that color just isn't correct for a cleaning product like that. It should be a clear blue. It took two hours for her to finish this set and while there was design, it wasn't complex. I won't be visiting here again and I hope you don't either. read more

Just don't. I came here for a nail emergency on a Sunday and Kevin was the one who helped me. I was excited because of the hype but I left very upset. When he removed my old set, I asked for a soak off, which he proceeded to do, but then took an acrylic tip and flicked them off my nails. It hurt, and when he got to my thumbnail, it hurt so bad I jerked away, then he proceeded to take a cuticle clippers, and break off a chunk of acrylic. Still attached to my thumb! What was the point of paying for a soak off if they still remove you acrylics the worst way possible? My thumb is still sore over a week later. I asked for a dip nails and he told me that my nail shape wasn't good enough for one? Even though I see plenty of people with short nails do them. So I asked for an acrylic OVERLY, and he cut all my nails off. HE CUT ALL MY NAILS OFF!!! I feel like if any place knows how important nails are it should be a nail salon but what do I know. I guess it is ok to hurt your customer multiple times too. The design is meh. The person before inspired me to get the little heart for Valentine's Day, but mine is twice as big as the one she got for some reason... and not facing the same way. I debated on making this review, but I ended up doing it because I'm still very upset about the whole situation. I can't wait to go to my normal lady and have her fix this mess. read more

Don't get your nails done here. Poor nail service and even worse customer service. I've never been treated so badly and had such awful work done. I called ahead and asked what's a good time for me to come in for a mani and pedi and they told me 1pm. After waiting in my chair until 1:30, I asked if I should leave and come back another time. They assured me they would be right with me, and Kathy came over to do my pedicure. I told her I wanted regular polish and she started using gel polish, so I reminded her that it was supposed to be regular polish and she took it off and began with the regular polish while my toenails were still wet. The polish looked awful and it was all over my skin and there were scrapes in the polish, it was bumpy, just really bad. When she told me she was done, I said really? and she took another look at my toenails and told me she will fix them later. She sent me to a regular chair and then she went underneath the table to wipe off all of the nail polish she just put on. She was sitting on the floor now hurrying to reapply the nail polish and it looked just as bad as the first time. I told her to just cancel it. I was sent to another chair to wait to get my dip powder manicure with Kevin and it was 2:15 at this point. He was working on another girls nails so I said I will come back another day, he assured me to stay and didn't want me to leave. He finally got to my nails 20 min later and he did a decent job. They weren't perfect but not bad. So when I went to pay he told me the total price was $85. I said I thought it was $55 for the dip powder set and he said that the 85 includes the pedicure. I explained that I had a bad experience and was unhappy with what happened and that I don't want to pay for that. Him and Kathy both got really upset and they let me pay $55 but they were arguing with me and making me feel bad about it. I normally leave a good tip when I get my nails done but I couldn't leave one after that. I've never been treated so bad at nail place. read more

I've been coming here almost a year, Kevin is amazing at acrylics and Cindi is amazing at dip. Kevin's work is my Christmas wishes, and this is my most recent dip with Cindi :) my recent dip as of 6/4/22 -is on natural nails :) my only complaint is it seems much faster for service as a walk in- for 7 months I have made appointments and the wait is at least 30 mins on average- and they never remember you so make sure you say you have an appointment and with who. read more

Let me just start by saying, I should probably just get my nails done at home when I'm going out of town. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I came from out of town and was looking for somewhere to get my nails done. I checked Yelp and this place had 3.5 stars and is close to where I'm staying so I thought I'd give them a chance. They asked what I wanted for my gel manicure and I showed them a picture from Pinterest that I thought was simple enough to do and asked if they'd be able to do it. The lady who did my pedicure said "Yea, we can do it. Easy!" I go to the lady who was supposed to do my manicure and she she asked to see the picture. I showed her and she said she could do it and started to do my nails. Because she's the nail technician I was letting her do her job. For the pinky nail she said white should go under the gold glitter so I went along with it. She then tried to create the arrow look on the ring finger and it was lopsided, thin and patchy so I just told her I didn't need that part and we can do just the glitter pinky. She then stated "why it looks nice?" And I again told her no thank you. The glitter on the pinky fingers was even more sparse than it shows in the picture so I asked if she could add more glitter like the picture I showed and the pictures below were the end result. Not only was it not an "easy" design like they said it would be, but even the plain painted nails are messed up. The actual nails aren't fully painted but my fingers still are even after she spent a long time "cleaning" it up. I've never been one to complain and want things for free so I still paid for the services but thought I'd leave this review for people who might be thinking about giving this place a try. Also, as I was waiting for my sister to finish getting her nails done (she wasn't happy with hers either), another customer complained to an employee about someone who didn't wear a mask while she getting a pedicure. To my knowledge WA has mandated masks while indoors. The only thing the employee did was apologize to the customer for that and tell her that he was too busy to even notice (it wasn't that busy in the salon). The customer then advised him this is the 3rd time this has happened while she's been there and they never said anything. To each their own for the masks IMO, but if you have signs posted on the door about wearing one I feel like you should enforce the rule so other customers feel safe coming to your establishment. read more

We were skeptical based off the reviews, but were pleasantly surprised! We ended up going back again for pedicures !! Every time I go here it's always something... last time I had an appointment and waited over an hour in the pedicure chair before anybody helped me. This time I went when they opened so that there wouldn't be a wait time and my pedicure looks good but my fingernails look super sloppy. If you're paying $30 for someone to paint your fingernails plus tip they should at least try to keep the paint on your nails and cover your entire nail. Super disappointed. read more

I want to start this review by saying I went to the salon right when they re-opened post COVID, because I do understand and empathize with why it may not have been the best experience. With that being said, this was one of my least favorite pedicures I have ever received. This is one of those nail salons that the technicians rush to get to the next one. There is no attention to detail. My technician missed filing my nails on one of my feet and tried doing at the end when she was painting them. I would say it's because she was rushed, but there was no one waiting. Plus, when you're paying for this service, I expect them to at least pay close attention to detail. I am very disappointed with my pedicure and how my toes look. There are plenty of other salons that do a way better job, AND are cheaper. There is nothing special about this experience. Rushed massage, no hot rocks/towels, no deep clean of nail beds. There was no base coat. I am seriously so unimpressed. I could do my toes better. I'm also a bit concerned about cleanliness and precautions especially during social distancing. They need to stick to appointments and be cautious of who is in the salon, especially now because it is a small space. I felt they were just packing people in like sardines. I also didn't feel like materials were being properly sanitized. They used the same buffing tool on all of us. My sister and I finished our pedicures first, and they sent us to wait towards the front. A woman sat there awkwardly and then finally asked me after she waited for a couple minutes, "are you paying?" ... this is always so off putting to me. It's like get in, we'll get it done and do a half ass job, and then we want you to get out of our space so please pay immediately and go. I do not plan on coming back here. I gave two stars because of the friendly man in the front, and it could definitely be worse. But, I don't recommend if you're looking for a relaxing service where they pay close attention to detail. read more

Based on referral, I made a mani-pedi appt w the male tech. After they sat me down for the pedi, a woman attended to my pedi which she did a fabulous job but they don't cheese grate : ( That cost them a star! Towards the end of my pedi, they asked me if I wanted fake nails or simply a gel color. Once again, a woman attended to my manicure.... and I was told the male tech does not do regular manicures. I'm confused, I believe I requested for the male tech and I told them initially what I wanted in my appt. There goes another star! The manicure was mediocre and the prices were standard and comparable to other salons. I might as well go to a newer salon for the price and service. If you are looking for dipped or tips, I highly recommend this place. read more

though it is in a janky strip mall and it is a smaller, older nail salon (they've been there for 17 years according to one of the techs) i received excellent service for a great price!! they do need to redecorate a bit but whatever. i got a gel mani and regular pedi for $50. i did not make an appointment and just walked in on a monday evening with my grandma and we got seated right away. will definitely be coming here again. read more

I was a first time customer did a pedicure and a dip fill. My pedicure was awful! I was directed to a chair and waited about 5 minutes for water to be put in the tub. The water was scalding hot but no one came by to check on the temp. It shut off by itself when it was full, and took about another five minutes to cool off enough to put my feet in. About that time, someone came over and started working on my feet. The entire ordeal was done and over in about 20 minutes from turning the water on to having polished toes. I later found out it was the owner (woman) who did my pedicure. I was extremely dissatisfied with my pedicure. My dip fill went well, and the technician who did them was very meticulous and thorough. The woman that did mine never said one word during my entire manicure. While working on me, she answered her phone and cut me because she was not paying attention and had gotten shellac all over my finger. I would not go back here again. I was a little nervous coming in here since there weren't any pictures of the acrylics posted. However the local community Facebook group raved about this shop so I thought I'd give it a shot. They had a huge variety of polish colors to choose from. Which is always a plus in my book! They had mood changing polish which I will have to try one day! The shop is pretty clean for the most part and the staff was friendly. I took away a star because I got nicked with the drill and the tech acted like it was my fault. Um, no I didn't even move. Also, I found it odd that I was asked to pay for my service ahead of time. I didn't know how the final product of my nails will be, let alone the quality of service so I didn't know how much I would want to tip. But I still tipped 20% anyways. I do appreciate that the acrylic is the perfect thickness (not too thick). Which is extremely important to me. Overall I'm not sure how I feel about this set. I loooove the colors I chose. But I'm uncertain about the way it was painted on. I may return and give them another try considering it's so close to home and the price is right. If I could give this a lower rating than 1 star, I would. First of all, we were waiting for well over an hour and a half when we made reservations prior to my me, my friend, and my child. My 2 year old daughter comes with me when I go to the nail salon and at other nails salons, it's never been a problem. She likes to get a little paint on her nails and stays very still for it. The lady that did our nails was EXTREMELY rough. I could feel her pulling a tugging at my daughters toes, and even tried to file her nails ending in scraping her toe. The way the nails were painted wasn't a big deal to me as it's mainly just for my daughters experience and to teach her some self care but the lady also did a horrible job at painting them. After she got her nails done, the lady was extremely rude. My daughter was extremely well behaved and we even brought an iPad that she doesn't get very often to keep her occupied while I got my toes done. She's gone to nail salons a bunch and knows the drill so the lady's rudeness was uncalled for. When it was mine turn, she was extremely rushed. I was watching other workers give their pedicures and this lady was skipping steps and rushing through it. She probably spent less than 5 minutes actually working on my feet. She made me sit in an extremely uncomfortable way which felt extremely unnecessary. I could complain about how my actual nails came out but I don't want to make this any lengthier. As a busy pregnant mom, it's very hard to find some time to take care of myself let alone a babysitter. I've never had an issue bringing my daughter around to a salon and called them prior to her coming so I could make sure they were comfortable with her coming as I understand that not all businesses are family friendly. This place sucks! Made a appointment thinking there would be 2 people in there, nope it was packed like sardines. No 6 ft apart no temperature. I left fuming and went down the street to 410 nails. I came with my mother yesterday on Mother's Day to get manicures and pedicures. A chunk of my big toe was cut. The women doing my nails couldn't get it to stop bleeding. During my manicure she got under the table 3 times to clean my toe of all the blood. SHE NEVER ONCE SAID SORRY for cutting me. On top of a bloody crusty toe the job was done sloppy. Had it not been Mother's Day I absolutely would have complained but I didn't want to ruin the day for my mom. BEWARE HORRIBLE SERVICE HERE!!!! I recently moved to the area and everyone in my neighborhood's Facebook page had recommended this place so I tried it out yesterday. I arrived right at 9am on the dot because with a crazy toddler at home, I was trying to be nice to my husband. After sitting around for a few minutes and they still had not opened, I decided to run to the store to complete another errand and stop here on the way home. No biggie. They were open when I came back, employees still arriving, actually. I was the first customer so I thought it would be speedy. NOPE. I got shellac manicure and pedicure. I'm used to two people working on you when you do both manicure and pedicure, but only had one. After an hour in the pedicure chair she still hadn't gotten to the color portion of the pedicure. Another thing that I found odd was the hot wax on the feet, usually they pour some in a bag and set your feet in it, well yesterday she dipped my entire foot into the vat of hot wax. I thought it was odd but I was a little tired and didn't say anything. Thinking about it now it seems very unhygienic.. I paid $60 before tip for 2 shellac jobs, which seems about right, I'm used to paying a little more for shellac in all honesty. She was very nice (I think her name was Kim), we chatted over watching the Price is Right...but I'm not sure I'll be coming back due to the wax incident. read more

Update- I've gone back a few times for fills but Tracy hasn't been there. I got the man both times recently. I don't know his name but he's the only man I've ever seen there. The first fill he did was a bit thick on the edges and began lifting within a few days of grow out. But not terrible considering they were screaming busy and he kept having to ring people up, deal with walk-ins, and answer the phone. The next fill was technically fine but I guess what I wanted paint wise got lost in translation. He said they are short-staffed and it really shows when it comes to wait times. I hope they hire some quality people so they can keep being a favorite place of mine. read more

Giving one star because of polish options. Other then that a zero. They told me they had time for my pedicure however I was sitting with my feet soaking for about an hour. When the nail technicians started on me she was rough and aggressive not a relaxing experience. In that hour I was waiting I was able to document several health code violations starting with the people sitting directly next to one another. I witnessed the nail techs not changing their gloves in between clients as well as not using properly sterilized equipment. They did not properly disinfect the pedicure station in-between pedicures. The black files and buffers should never have white on them if they do that means they have been used on other clients. I could go on. I understand they are a busy shop however you can't do subpar cleaning when it comes to nail care. Not only because of COVID but because of the many infectious diseases that can be transferred from improper sanitization. If this is your regular shop I understand but please watch out for unsafe health practices. read more
