I've tried everything, from budget gyms to high-end health clubs, but this place stands out as my top choice. Dragon's Lair is a straightforward, hardcore gym for serious bodybuilders who want real results. They have every machine, free weight, and piece of equipment you could need. I've been to many gyms, but here, the atmosphere and other members really motivate you to work hard. In just six weeks, I've completely changed my workouts and already see big improvements. This gym doesn't have hot tubs, jacuzzis, pools, or showers. You come here to train with other dedicated bodybuilders, then head out when you're done. It's simple, no-nonsense, and the monthly price is fair.

That kind of comment isn't motivating. It's not funny. And it's definitely not professional. I'm aware I'm out of shape & im working on that currently. It's exactly the type of behavior that makes people hesitant to walk into gyms in the first place. Not everyone enters a gym confident. Some people are just trying to take the first step toward bettering themselves, and comments like that remind them why they were nervous to begin with. I'm currently training at FitClub gym, where the environment is respectful, focused, and built on encouraging people, not sizing them up the second they walk in. That difference matters. If your goal as a business is to build a strong community, it starts with how you treat people the moment they walk through the door. You never know where someone is in their journey. A little respect goes a long way. Hopefully this is taken as a reminder that how you speak to people, especially in a space meant for growth, actually matters.

My experience in this gym was less than ideal even though I've been a loyal patron for so long…read more I returned to this gym since I live close to it at that time. I was informed after a month or so that there's an issue with my billing and that this gym is only getting half of my membership fee. I've asked the GM if my fee will remain the same and I was assured that it will. Fast forward to 9 months after. I noticed that I was getting billed twice; One for this gym's fee (original full membership) and another for half the price. After digging through my statements and multiple calls with corporate billing, my account payments prior to the switch was going to two different gyms and that the system never updated to route all payments to the latest frequently visited gym. AF has this system in place to do so. I know this because I've received a notice of this change at other AF gyms before they move my account. That is the concept having a global AF network of gyms and having one fob as it is used for tracking your activity everywhere you go. I've asked this gym about the issue and I was told to call their corporate billing to verify if I'm going to get my money back for the 9mo worth of extra payments. I was told by this gym that AF establishments are independent franchises and that the issue isn't theirs and I should contact the other gym. The other gym/their corporate billing is also saying the same thing that the issue isn't theirs and I should contact the gym that switched my account originally. Mind you as a customer, this has been going on for 1-2 months of back and forth chasing both gyms down for answers. Even to a point of physically going to the gym and asking each GM/owner to coordinate with each other for a resolution. I, having to leave work early just to reach the GM/employee during their work hours. In the end, I never got my money back and have since cancelled my AF membership after 10+ years. I didn't even lose thousands of dollars. They could've just compensated me and marked it as an expense on their end or even suggesting a 9mo free or even discounted membership to compensate for the headache.

Especially the lockers. On any given day, while I'm working out there are always employees cleaning the machines, the floors, free weights. So happy about that. When of the coolest things is having a cinema cardio room. When it's super busy or I'm done with my workout but want some extra easy calorie depletion, I go to the Cinema room, jump on a treadmill or elliptical trainer and move while watching a movie. So much fun as the room is dark and theater style, stadium "seating". While I was in town, I watched parts of Spiderman, Ironman, The Greatest Showman, and Jurassic Park. So fun! Also, Ben was a great person to work with while contemplating my membership. Thanks Ben! Excited to workout here again the next time I'm in town.

Why isn't there a way to change this on the eos app or at the very least why cant you call in and change. Oh and then when you get there to change something they try and cancel your membership. And resign you up to boost there numbers for the EOS suits. Crazy work. And then you have to pay another annual fee. Great churn for the business. Don't recommend this dumpster of a gym. Not to mention all the equipment/sauna/pool is always broken or not functional.
