Vegan muffin with chocolate chips out in Canyonlands NP
    Evie S.

Picked up a muffin here to go at 6:30am right when they opened before heading out to the Needles District of Canyonlands NP. There was already a tad of a line right at opening time. My husband and I sat and enjoyed it by a lovely yellow willow tree down in the canyon at Big Spring Trail toward the Confluence Overlook. It was a vegan chocolate chip muffin. It was yummy and I was happy I grabbed it. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Visited Love Muffin Cafe three days in a row during our visit in Moab. Really like the laid back vibes this place has. Their coffee and food are excellent! I had their bacon breakfast sandwich and it was really good. The bacon was thick, yet crunchy. I also tried their burrito that didn't have any protein in it. I really enjoyed that one for a lighter option. I'd say the star of the show were their lunch sandwiches. We took some to go, and they held up quite nicely. We ate them in canyonlands and they really hit the spot. I'd definitely recommend taking some on your hikes. I tried two of their coffees. I had an iced carrot cake latte, half sweet, and it was perfection. It really put me in a fall mood. I also had their black and white iced latte that was so good, I had it twice!

I went here for a breakfast burrito. Place was clean. Staff was very friendly. The burrito was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Only thing I would say is that it was a bit pricey given the size. We did go to a touristy place but still... portion size could have been a tad bigger. Delicious nonetheless!

I came here with my AmeriCorps teammates to try out their coffee, and of course food. Everything was so delicious. Despite being busy on a Saturday morning, the wait for both drinks and food wasn't long at all. The barista did a lovely job with the latte art, and I don't think I've ever had a breakfast burrito that good before.

    Dark. Hot. Mocha. Much love.

Looking for a local love vibe? This is your spot. Food, service, and staff are all five star. I had a mocha and a local burrito with homemade salsa. The best. Short and sweet version - we will be back!!

The Vesuvio sandwich is THE BEST TO GO SANDWICH FOR A HIKE! WOW we're going to go get it again for our next hike later this week. The cutest spot with really good matcha and friendly staff. Would definitely return and recommend!! Get the Vesuvio sandwich for sure

Stopped by this adorable hidden gem for a cafecito before heading over to Canyonlands NP and were given a warm welcome by the owner Wes and his team! Always enjoy connecting with small business owners and listening to their story. Truly appreciate your hospitality, the delicious cafecito and yummy "love muffin"! Wishing you all the best! - @thecafecitocouple

Shaka bowl & Bombero burrito in background

Food and service were great! Our group ordered the Shaka bowl and Bombero burrito, fresh orange juice, and tea. The food had great flavor, was very filling - the Shaka bowl was packed full of good flavor, and the Bombero as mentioned on the menu has a great kick to it. We will stop in next time we are in town!

Breakfast burrito, morning breakfast muffin with bacon and blueberry.

Nice breakfast spot right off Main Street. Super friendly staff and delicious morning burrito. Coffee was excellent. Clean and organized.

Love muffin was amazing, the food and the decor. It was very hipster. The young people behind the counter had big smiles which is needed for this tourist town. The Locals burrito was very big, filling and delicious, it came with a bomb homemade salsa. I had the quinoa bowl with berries and bananas, it was so warm and comforting. Coffee was like coffee should be mellow, a touch of strong flavor and black. As we were leaving we decided to buy 2 homemade muffins, pumpkin chocolate chip and blueberry. Both had a crispy top with a soft tasty middle. We enjoyed every bite! It was busy but service was fast and there is outdoor seating.

Gluten Free waffle with fruit was yummy.

Good breakfast selection, but being prompted to tip 20% or more when just picking food up from a counter is ridiculous.

$20 for a cold (not warm, cold) burrito and a bottle of water. Probably skip this one.

I got the Shaka. It was very tasty and filled me up for a day of hiking. It was a little on the pricey side, but I would still recommend.

Are you open for dine-in at this time? If no, any plans for it in the near future?

We are currently closed for dine in. Takeout only. If you can find me some employees I could open back up. However, it's looking grim at the moment. Hopefully in the near future we will. Possibly September? I have a former employee coming back…

The Eggs Benedict are really so delicious. They use a non-traditional hollandaise sauce which, amazingly amped up the flavor of the eggs! And the eggs were perfectly made so that the whites were thoroughly cooked and the yolk was runny. Odd, but this is a difficult thing to get in a restaurant. The meal was served with delicious home fries where the potatoes were moist and flavored. We also ordered a side of their thick bacon, which had a bit of a different flavor - very nice. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We took a chance on the egg scramble, which had lots of promise with the many ingredients listed, but the eggs were overcooked and dry, so the other ingredients couldn't compensate. They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Everyone we met at the restaurant was pleasant and kind. It was such an enjoyable time. We have a few more days in Moab, so we will be back.

It has been five years since I've been to Moab and a lot has changed…read more Jailhouse Cafe has been our go to breakfast place for at least 10 years. The food taste was still decent. However, the prices have absolutely skyrocketed. We paid five dollars each for some pretty fair tasting coffee. The omelette I used to order is now close to $20. The portion seemed quite a bit smaller too For breakfast for the two of us it was over 50 bucks. We used to have to wait at least an hour for breakfast but this time there was absolutely no wait. I'm wondering if due to the rising meal costs if that's impacting the number of customers coming in the door. I am not sure if I would come back again in the future, which is such a shame.
