Came on a weekday night and was seated immediately. Honestly I was impressed by the quantity but also the quality. We shared the "two appetizers" order for the table, and they served it on multiple plates with three bowls of pita--I even double checked with the staff that it was just one order because of how much it was. The hummus was so good, baba ganoush was also good but the hummus definitely stood out as a favorite in our group. I got the gyro platter--it was huge. And the gyro was freshly hot and tender, not dry at all. It was definitely my favorite. Everyone in my group enjoyed their dishes--the sultan platter, lamb shawarma, and salmon artichoke. Ended up sharing dessert--the basbousa cake was lightly sweet, faint coconut taste with pistachio bits, and the huckleberry ice cream reminded me of blue raspberry flavor--maybe a little too sweet for me but still good. We had to do three carry out boxes for all of the leftovers. Staff were friendly and attentive. Parking readily available in the lot out front. Decent amount of seating in a casual atmosphere. Overall, a good stop in quantity and quality if you're in the area and craving Mediterranean.

The food was DELICIOUS, AMAZING. Just writing about it my mouth is watering. I have been into Mediterranean food lately and this place is definitely on my top three. The decor and the place itself is beautiful and warmly inviting. The service was amazing and I truly appreciate how friendly and kind and speedy it was. I 100% recommend this place, you will NOT regret it.

My favorite meal in Moab was at Sultan. The hummus was so good and garlicky. Really enjoyed the gyro salad with fresh greens and equally well seasoned meat. Service was fast. AC was cold. Able to be seated quickly and service was prompt!

One of the few diverse and halal restaurants in Moab. The food is a bit overpriced and ok at best, but then again this town is in a pretty remote area. Don't get the calamari. It's overfried and the breading is too heavy (same type that is used for fish sticks). Not good. I had the sultan kebab which comes with two skewers, rice, and salad. It was ok, but not great compared to what I'm used to having in NY. We asked if we can order kababs individually but they are overpriced ($12 for a single chicken kebab).

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere could be found in this place. After a long day of driving and Arches NP hikes this was a perfect end of the day stop. Excellent service, reasonable prices, highly recommend their gyro plates

Thank you Yelp for leading us to Sultan. Our party of 4 was seated immediately and offered something to drink. We ordered the Tuscan shrimp, chicken kebab, chicken shawarma and the gyro platter. Everything was delicious and served quickly. We shared Basbousa for dessert. An amazing meal!

I had been deprived of Asian food for 24 hrs. Needed something quick and this was the closest we found. The lunch special came with either fries or rice. I picked the rice, and subbed the tzatziki sauce with garlic mayo. The mayo was more lemony than expected. Rice was flavorless. Gyro meat was 10/10, veggies were fresh and crispy. I would come back here again!

It is Christmas day and Sultan was open! We were so grateful for that, after a whole morning of hiking. The place is very nicely decorated, not big but the tables aren't crowded. Service was fantastic! And the food totally hit the spot. We ordered two appetizers: olives and pickles, and traditional za'tar. We enjoyed both of them very much. For entrees I had the stuffed eggplant and my husband had the lamb chops. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious and my stuffed eggplant was really tasty. We even ordered dessert. The baklava is homemade and is served with vanilla ice cream a looots of crushed pistachios. We were hungry and the food was really good! We will definitely come back when we visit Moab again.

We had a very nice time at Sultan Mediterranean this evening. Our appetizers were delicious - hummus and babaganoush, and the pita bread triangles were fresh and warm. The roasted artichoke salad was amazing! The stuffed eggplant was nice - but the ground beef was very oily and the oil seeped into the eggplant, leaving a greasy texture. The Mediterranean bowl had parts that we liked and parts that were less successful. The service was excellent. The interior was spacious and clean.

Dinner in Moab was excellent! The service was good and the food was outstanding. We had a chicken swarma plate and a gyros platter. Both had a salad and chicken came with fries, the gyros with rice. Definitely recommend if you are in Moab!

We were super impressed with the great meal we shared at Sultan. We went for light bites and had the baba ghanoush, Stuffed grape leaves and hummus fattah with chicken shawarma and pita. All were delicious. The baba ghanoush was smoky and fantastic! The hummus was silky and shawarma grilled to perfection. The grape leaves were a little denser than my preference, but had good flavor. Huckleberry ice cream was one we had to try and it was gooey, jammy and tasty. The service was excellent and friendly! We really felt taken care of. Awesome place to grab dinner. We ate the baba ghanoush before I could take a photo! :)

Ordering takeout was a breeze, I had my order in 15 minutes during peak dinner time. The mediterranean bowl was absolutely delightful, an array of wholesome and beautiful foods with explosive flavor. I was very impressed.

    Do they take reservations?

When I was there a couple of months ago they did not take reservations. They assured me I wouldn't have trouble getting a table of four and we didn't, seated immediately.

    Is the tabouli good?

We sat at this huge table in the middle, with cactus and succulents and southwest decor about the walls. Not overdone, very desert themed (of course). My wife ordered an omelette and my daughter some pancakes. I went with a biscuit that was huge - friend chicken, bacon, over easy egg, gravy, grilled jalapeños. Hit the spot, it was incredible and everything my breakfast had been missing the previous 43 years of life. Our server was Alyssa, or Alissa - the name was the same both days but spelled differently and 2 different people. Yes, it was so good and fresh and service amazing we went back a second time! I tried a different biscuit, and then and there decided I did not want to ever visit Moab and not eat here. We waited the second time to get a seat, didn't even care. Both servers were amazing, unfortunately I did NOT write their names down and I'm writing a review from a year ago, but the truly had the same name, just different spelling. In fact, our server from our first visit was there with her family as a customer when we were there the second time! As someone who spent my careers in restaurants, that is not only a testament to the quality of the food but also the culture of the establishment: you can't put a price on that. I can't wait to go back!

We got the AM Tacos (with bacon) and the Southwest Bowl (with fried chicken) and an order of Mini-Jacks. The tacos were so good! I asked for a side of green chile sauce and that made them next level. We don't recommend getting fried chicken on the SW Bowl. The bowl was great, but the chicken was only okay. A little tough and chewy and probably not the best choice for that meal. The mini jacks were the star of the show! Fluffy, light, with a hint of sweetness and served with a huge dollop of soft butter. The restaurant was busy, but our service was great and it was a relaxed vibe. Lots of folks looked like they were heading out or getting back from outdoor activities.

The Eggs Benedict are really so delicious. They use a non-traditional hollandaise sauce which, amazingly amped up the flavor of the eggs! And the eggs were perfectly made so that the whites were thoroughly cooked and the yolk was runny. Odd, but this is a difficult thing to get in a restaurant. The meal was served with delicious home fries where the potatoes were moist and flavored. We also ordered a side of their thick bacon, which had a bit of a different flavor - very nice. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We took a chance on the egg scramble, which had lots of promise with the many ingredients listed, but the eggs were overcooked and dry, so the other ingredients couldn't compensate. They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Everyone we met at the restaurant was pleasant and kind. It was such an enjoyable time. We have a few more days in Moab, so we will be back.
