Had an amazing experience here! Boyfriend and I walked in on a Friday evening, and we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Even the front staff was kind and attentive. Def a very chill vibe. Man where do I begin! Estevan is Amazing. Walked in off the street after not feeling it at another studio, and met Estevan. Dude is super chill and knocks out literally whatever you want! Came in for some Bob Thomas flash, then went back the next week, and the next and so on! I love all my trippy tats and my new Chest piece makes me not want to ever wear a shirt! When you have to spend that many hours with someone getting a tattoo, you totally gotta vibe with them and also know they have your back as far as being sterile, clean work, awesome colors etc! I actually made the mistake after getting 6 tattoos from him by going to someone cheaper and those cheap suckers are all messed up. Lesson learned! Hubby and I decided to get tattoos on our visit to Dallas. Chose Love n Hate because of their great reviews. We arrived, it's was nice and clean, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman (can't remember his name). The accept card and walk ins. We didn't make an appointment, just walked in, we were informed everyone was currently busy so we decided to do a deposit and set an appointment for an hour later with Crystal. She's was wonderful! She was patient and added her Professional opinion when asked about placement/size. She was easy to talk to and made it an overall enjoyable experience! Horrible experience with Estevan. I should have known when he was available for a walk in. Did the tattoos I wanted but horrible line work. Crooked lines on simple designs and blown out lines. I can't speak for the other artists but avoid Estevan. read more

Blue was amazing, so patient and caring in explaining the process for my ear lobe piercing after my surgery repair to both ears. He took the time to carefully explain post-care and 9 days after my piercing I've experienced no issues, not one. Went last night around 9:30 or so to get my Tragus and the 3rd hole in my lobes pierced. Walked in and was warmly greeted and asked what I was wanting and then was handed over to Spencer since he does piercings. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, got everything set up and explained the procedure, and really took his time on the placement of the 3 piercings I was wanting (he's a perfectionist about the placement, and I'm thankful that he is) he talked me through the Tragus piercing and tells you when you should expect to feel it and such (to me personally it was not bad at all). He then preceded to the lobe piercing. Price for all 3 was $105 this includes the piercing and the jewelry (surgical steel) he also will tell you how to take care of it before you leave. I will definitely be back for more piercings in the near future and I'll will be sure to ask for Spencer. read more

Spencer is the BEST!!! I've had multiple cartilage piercings reject over the years. So I gave up for close to 10 years. Plus developed a fear of needles. I had my helix done. Then he custom ordered me two rose gold hoops for my cartilage. All were as painless as could be, and positioned beautifully. My helix fell out. And he takes you in immediately to get it replaced. I also struggled with finding a conch earring that fit correctly, and match the rose gold theme. I searched every website, went to every body jewelry place I could. And he set me up with the perfect jewelry in minutes. I would not go to anyone else for piercings but Spencer. He's polite, helpful, and makes the process so quick and easy. Spencer helped me take out 2 helix piercings that were majorly swollen and infected (not done at this shop i went somewhere else just heard good reviews abt love and hate so went here to get them removed) all i know is i cried all morning just touching and trying to get them out but when he did it, he got them out so easily and i DIDNT FEEL IT, other then when he had to pop the ball off the ring before taking it out, like i'm so happy rn this guy is awesome and i will be getting all my new piercings at this shop only from now on. My daughter wanted to get her cartilage pierced for her birthday so I searched for a place with great reviews. Love-N-Hate showed up at the top! We pulled up and it looked a little sketchy, but don't let that deceive you! When we walked in it was very nice and we were warmly greeted. Came here a couple months back to get my ears pierced, 10/10 experience. Spencer not only made me feel super comfortable, but also was all around a happy person who loved his job which is extremely Important. Came back today, got my nipples pierced! On top of the already amazing Spencer there was also a separate piercer, Blue! Both were extremely accommodating, accurate, respectful, caring, and also made me feel extremely safe in this high stress environment! Stephanie was absolutely AMAZING! She spent so much time with me and mom to make sure we got the perfect tattoos that we wanted. She gave us so much advice and her opinion on what would look good and made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly and not to mention how much of an amazing job she did on our tattoo, I know what I picked was simple but she actually took her time to make sure I got the correct font, made sure I tripled checked the dates so it wasn't wrong and did the best job aligning it perfectly on my arm. I got my ears pierced here in December and when it came time to change my earrings they were impossible to remove. I messaged them over Facebook to ask how to remove them and they told me to wait until the piercer could talk to me. When the piercer got back they proceeded to ignore me leading to me trying to take them out myself which ripped a hole in my ear. I am in the military and stationed in Italy so there is a time zone difference and when I messaged them during my day they told me to stop messaging them and did not help me even after I sent them a video of my bleeding ear. They were very rude and unprofessional. They never told me ahead of time it would be impossible to remove jewellery without going into another shop. read more

got my belly button, nipples & nose double pierced by Spencer, the process was so smooth and I'm in love w all of my new piercings ! I won't say pain less (4 piercings at one time is a lot lol) but Spencer definitely made the effort to make it as pain free as possible. I took my 9 year old daughter to Love-N-Hate Tattoo to get her ears pierced and saw Spencer... he was GREAT! I called prior and he told me all of the paperwork I needed to bring with her being a minor and explained everything to me. I was super impressed with their receptionist and store cleanliness. My deposit was $200, but I would not be surprised if the deposit amount is based on the tattoo and the amount of time an artist must reserve on their schedule. The rooms are sectioned off, however, I noticed a larger open area which is not closed off. The room was clean and organized well. There is staff that works the front area and this person will help you navigate the process. They will verify age and medical history as well as provide you with their policies. My tattoo was a very simple black outline. Deciding on the placement of the tattoo took longer than the actual tattoo. Ronnie was patient while I decided on the exact placement and size of my tattoo. Beware they charge $50 when you book and then when you get your piece, they don't deduct that from the total of the tattoo on the day of, so they are making $50 on each booking on top of your cost. I will say his tattoo turned out beautifully. They also fail to be clear as to what tattoos qualify for touch ups. If you get a hand/finger tattoo & it dang near completely disappears in a week and you work an office job, you will be recharged the full amount of the tattoo again without the warning of being recharged completely THE NEXT WEEKEND. Make sure you clarify what you will be charged for each booking BEFORE you allow them to touch you; don't trust the 1 touch up in a year will include it. (Mind you we referred another friend who had the same issue within a week with his hand/finger tattoo, as well.) Also...this was not Skyler. I initially asked for 3 small touch up lines of a couple month old tattoo that took the artist 10 min max (I understand cost of overhead) and was charged $200!!!!! Shop minimum is $100-$120. I always pay what I owe, but that was as bad as highway robbery. Within 6 booked visits, we learned our lesson about this place. We kept giving the benefit of the doubt until the straw broke the camels back! Hope this review helps you so you don't learn the lesson the hard way as well. I decided to get this tattoo on somewhat of a whim and was not sure initially where to place it. Once I landed in Dallas and kept flip-flopping location, I settled on the inner bicep. I walked into Fallen Ink to be greeted by a very warm and welcoming group of individuals. I checked in, and they almost felt like family at that moment because of how cohesive the transfer of information/communication was between team members. David sat me down and figured out positioning/alignment and then placed a template onto my bicep and we waited for a few moments. At this point, the butterflies kicked in, as I have not had a tattoo in over 8 years. His demeanor was super calm and confident, he began tattooing. He was fast yet very meticulous and neat with his work. The one thing I respect about this place is the culture. There was a newer artist on David's team and he was super patient and encouraging to this artist's growth and build-up of confidence. I respect good management, I respect good humans. This is one big reason why I would come back and hope David continues to tattoo for decades to come. The entire tattoo took maybe 45 minutes and once we were done it looked better than what I had imagined. As I've stated earlier, I would definitely come back to Fallen Ink Tattoo for a couple reasons: Talented artists, good human beings, and ability to help indecisive people such as myself.

As in, it's always dark when I go in and there's usually just one woman working on the week days with one customer in the entire shop and if you don't have an appointment, you're just out of luck. I can't deal with that kind of exclusivity because my pedicure needs are sporadic and always happen on a whim. I drove around until I saw this shop near the house. "Honey Dipp." Cute name. I did a quick Yelp review and looked only at the rating and decided to give it a shop. Walked in and immediately was aware that I'm was the only Asian here. Long story short, this ended up being a great experience. I had "Q" who did a fantastic job. When I say she did a great job, I mean, she was inspecting each one of my toe nails like a jeweler inspecting a diamond. She actually scrubbed the rough spots on my feet and took time to make sure the polish was on perfectly. Even though there were a few people in the shop, I did not once feel rushed or uncomfortable. Plus, one of the employees had her kid there who was seriously one of the cutest freakin kids I've ever seen running around offering me Ritz crackers. If you're in the area, come give these ladies some support. I was very impressed and will be back!
