Amanda came to my house to do my hair and my mother's hair for an event. I wanted something simple and I specifically said "Victoria's Secret Hair" and Amanda replied "that's my specialty!" She was pleasant and quick about it and I was really happy with how my hair turned out. I was referred to Amanda after the stylist I originally planned on booking was already booked for my wedding. I had my wedding Memorial Day weekend and my husband and I went to City Hall that Friday and had our reception the next day. Amanda did just makeup for City Hall and did my hair and makeup for the reception and did an amazing job both days. About a month and a half before my wedding I decided that I really wasn't feeling my hair stylist so one of my bridesmaids went on a mad hunt for me to find a new hairstylist, and someone close to my venue. I was so lucky to find Amanda and it was pure luck that she actually had my date available. We did a quick meet and greet and then set up a trial. I knew right when I met her that she was a good match for me. She was laid back and very friendly and non-intimidating. For my trial I went to her studio in her apartment and we chatted the whole way through. I was very happy with the results and we even spoke afterwards about making some tweaks the day of, which she was more than willing to do. The day of my wedding she came to the hotel where I was getting ready. It was the most perfect morning and Amanda's attitude and personality fit the vibe we had going. All my girls loved her and were very happy with their hair. When it was time to finalize my hair we moved to the front of the mirror where we talked through the finish product. We chatted the whole way through about everything and anything and by the time she was done and I looked in the mirror, I was really happy with what she had done. I have been to other MUA over the years and the majority of the time I have come out with a caked unnatural look. Amanda did neither of these.
