Really bad work. And confusingly expensive. A lack of respect for their job. The manager randomly called me over and stuck her hand down my top and grabbed my naked boob (to reposition it inside my shirt?) without my permission. Each bridesmaid paid $300 each for our hair and makeup. I was on time for my scheduled session and I was rushed and got a terrible makeup job. The hair and makeup looked nothing like the photo I showed them. The hair was lopsided because the girl did it without a mirror in front of me. I kept having to ask her to make both sides match. My eyeliner was as if the makeup artist never did it before. I asked her to make it an even line instead of a weird shape on my eyelid. I was told they can't fix it because they need to pack up their supplies and leave. I walked out upset and came back 10 mins later and the whole team was just sitting in a circle hanging out. I waited a few mins and finally said to them, oh I thought u couldn't fix my eyeliner because you needed to leave. I was told they weren't hanging out- they were "having a meeting". I didn't bring my makeup that day so I was stuck with whatever they gave me. It was the ugliest I've ever felt and I had a whole day of photos and celebrations to go in that makeup. I didn't bring my own makeup because I figured I was having it professionally done (my mistake) and paying a lot of money for it. It's all I thought about for the rest of the day- how rude they were and unaccommodating. I mean I was asking them to do what they're being paid to do. It's not a big ask. The team acted as if it was their first time doing hair and makeup. I later realized the makeup girl had no idea what I was saying, she was just saying ok. When I asked about my eye makeup (pointing at my eye), she started painting more eyebrow makeup on me. I said no... my eye. Not eye brow. Bottom line, save your money (and the heartache) and do your own makeup. I don't leave reviews but I thought their behavior (and price) was outrageous. read more

I booked Bhargavi pre-Covid and was so excited to have her do my hair and makeup for 3 of my wedding events. We easily set up an appt for my skincare routine, which I loved that it was included in the package. Unfortunately Covid hit, and we had to shorten our events to just the ceremony and a lunch reception. Once I connected with Bhargavi to tell her the new plans, she worked with me to make sure my services and all the services for my family were included. She was very flexible during the entire process. And we quickly were able to schedule my hair and makeup trial. Take it from me who knows nothing about hair and makeup, she guided me and suggested multiple looks for the day. Now onto the big day - Bhargavi and her team were there very early ready to start working. They were super professional the entire time, keeping their masks on and constantly spraying their equipment down. We talked and laughed the entire 3 hours of hair, makeup, and draping. LONGEVITY of the hair and/or makeup: Excellent longevity for wedding look. For reception, hair fell out- but that is likely due to the style I chose, lipstick faded immediately. 3. APPLICATION of the hair and/or makeup- The whole team did a great job with me, my bridesmaids, and my mom and MIL. 4. Customer service of the CB TEAM- Everything was great. Bhargavi went out of her way to make sure I felt like myself w/ hair and make up done up. If there's on thing I'd change, it'd be how CB logistics were handled (specifically, details around CB travel, lodging, meals). I thought those details should've been discussed with my wedding planner directly OR should've been discussed a month in advance at minimum. I understand that wedding vendors work with multiple clients simultaneously but in the future, to make the customer experience even better, I'd suggest ironing out these details well in advance rather than two weeks before an event. While important, it's just not what the bride/groom want to be thinking about in the days leading up to the most special day of their lives. Cinderella Bridez was the quickest and easiest vendor decision that I had made during my wedding planning process. I had the pleasure and honor of being able to work with Barbie for my big day. She is the kindest, most genuine, most talented, and most professional person ever! Honestly, after being able to speak with her - I can genuinely say I look up to her and all that she has accomplished. She had me feeling and looking like the best version of myself for my wedding day and I am forever grateful! My hair and makeup stayed intact for the whole event! I am genuinely surprised by how badly my makeup and hair turned out to be. Like very shocked. There was 8 bridesmaids for my sisters wedding and we all walked out of our makeup and hair sessions in complete shock. I never felt so ugly. I don't know if it's because I do my own makeup pretty well and I had higher expectations, but me and my other sister walked out in tears, we did not plan to look like this for our sister's wedding. My foundation did not match my skin at all, the reference pictures I showed them looked nothing like what was done on me, my hair was like insanely crunchy with hair spray, my face was CAKED badly, my eyebrows were weirdly laminated looking with white on it. Also none of the artists really knew how to do winged black eyeliner which was weird to me. It was just bad. I'd show a picture, but I am just so embarrassed to show a picture of where I feel so ugly. I am no where near a dramatic person and I do not have high standards and I never write reviews, but this was genuinely a very bad experience. The only good thing that came out of this was my sisters hair and makeup looked beautiful and that's all that really matters. It was the head makeup/hair artist that did my sister's stuff. The head also did my hair, but she did a terrible job.. im not sure why. Even one of the other staff members asked me who did my hair because she was genuinely confused as to why my hair looked the way it did. I feel bad writing this review, because its so nice to see a team dedicated towards brown people, but this was just so upsetting. if I could give no stars I would. hands down the worst vendor from my wedding. I understand things happen and everyone has a personal lofe, however k was never able to schedule a trial for my wedding because my artist had a personal issue- nobody ever offered to let me have a trial with another artist...day of the wedding they sent someone else anyway who completely ignored ALL of my inspiration photos and did her own thing with the excuse that what I showed her didn't work with my hair piece- except she never bothered to say that BEFORE we started - hence why I trial would have been helpful. then the make up artists ignored my soft elegance simple make up looks I wanted for the bridesmiads and half of them came out with dark eye shadow and dark lips for a spring wedding. My mom had go wipe off half her make up and redo it herself. they left hardly enough time for myself and we were rushing to finish my already bad hairstyle when my photographer got there. THEN after the wedding they charged me for services my bridesmaids never got that we wanted - lashes and airbrush?! they basically tops me I was dramatic and I had to pay anyway. never again. truthfully Barbie, the owner, made me a miserable bride and I don't wish that on anyone. next time listen to your brides even when they don't fit your "normal bride" ... horrible. i still get tested up looking back in all of this read more

Barbie is absolutely amazing! I have used her expertise on two different occasions. First - my baby shower. She listened to my likes/desires and she suggested ideas. I ended up going with her suggestions and she completely enhanced my look (so much better than I can imagine). She made a very pregnant girl feel and look beautiful. On the second occasion, I had a private 1:1 session with her. My look and color choices were super outdated and probably not best suited for my skin at my current age. Working with her, I learned the fundamentals of makeup from skin care, foundation selection/application, doing two different go-to looks that I usually need based on my life, kit building (understanding what colors and make up products are best for my skin). I learned sooo much from my session with her (got over my own hurdles as Barbie helps you build confidence in doing different steps that seemed daunting but weren't when she walks and coaches you through it). I absolutely loved my personal 1:1 session. I LUV LUV LUV my new look. Fresh, natural and sexy! Another thing about working with Barbie - her positive energy is contagious, she is kind and open. She doesn't have judgement and really serves to help you feel your best. If your skin isn't at its best, you don't have to worry. No judgement from Barbie. It genuinely upsets me to write this review because of how much I was looking forward to working with CB, and how much of a mess my hair and makeup turned out to be the night of my engagement party. Cinderella Bridez have done hair and makeup for a few people I know for their engagement and wedding. As a south asian, it's hard to find someone who understands what your makeup preference is. Often people turn you out to look tanner or whiter than you like. Cniderella Bridez was a company that seemed to do really well for hair and makeup, specifically for South Asians so I was really looking forward to working with them. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience on the day of my engagement party. First off, when I showed Barbie what look I wanted, I was told that it was more of a bridal look, and something lighter would be more appropriate for an engagement party. I felt it was rude to correct the look I wanted, especially when I'm paying $350 for it + $100 for travel to Philadelphia. Furthermore, my engagement party was 450 people, so it was definitely on the scale of a wedding which is why I wanted a look that matched the scale of the event. Second, we were not done in time. I will say that I added extensions to my service which Laura warned me would take an extra 15-20 min, but I actually had told the team that I needed to be ready an hour earlier than I actually needed to be ready (in fear that we wouldn't be done in time), which still allows 45 min extra. However, even with that, we were not done in time. Priya, a junior artist, is who did my sister's hair and makeup (initially). My sister ended up looking like a clown because there was red eyeshadow all over her eyes, which she did not ask for, and heavy red/pink blush - also not part of the look she asked for. She showed Priya a picture of the look she wanted, no where in which there was all this red. Laura, my MUA, ended up having to fix it all for her. I will say that Laura did a great job fixing what she could at that point to make my sister's look closer to what she'd asked for. Laura also did a good job with my sister's hair, which Priya was supposed to do, but was running so late that Laura did it. I will say that Laura worked hard to give me the look that I wanted. My makeup was initially contoured darker than I wanted and she tried to fix it, which I appreciated it. However, in pictures, my face is still darker than the rest of my body - exactly what I didn't want. However, at that point, we were already running so behind, I didn't have time to complain and just went on with it. Also, I told Laura in the beginning I wanted extensions and showed her a picture of the rope braids I wanted in my hair. I had to remind her midway through (but apparently at the perfect time) to put them in 'cuz she'd forgotten, and after curling my hair, she said "done" but my rope braids weren't in so I had to remind her again to do that. But she got it done, so it's fine. What wasn't so fine is that my hair did not last me an hour. While Laura fixed my sister's look, I went to the bathroom and recurled my hair. But because there was so much hairspray in there, it was hard to get to stay curled. So after the mass, before my reception, instead of taking pictures with my fiance during the gap, I went and recurled my whole head. Absolute waste of my $400. read more

She made sure to try her hardest to accommodate my new date, to the point where she held my date until I was 100% sure about it, giving me one less thing to worry about and a HUGE sigh of relief. Not only is she super easy to talk to but she gives great advice. I have been texting her with every little uncertainty I have and she is quick to respond and guide me in the right direction. We hired Cinderella Brides for our friend's wedding for the bridal party and every single person was so disappointed on their makeup and hair came out. The team that they sent was so inexperienced and did not know how to do simple looks for hair and makeup. Due to everyone hating their makeup and have to keep fixing over and over again, we all missed the opportunity for pictures - the sister of the bride was so disappointed with the services and hated her look so much she was in tears and had to wipe it all off.
