I have to say that I was pleasantly delighted by both the staff and the salon. The salon doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let it fool you! It's very cute, modern and clean(very sanitary). The staff was super personable and and very accommodating. They had a great selection of color choices and offer gel, dipping powders and laquers. The only issue I could see is that the staff is currently very small and walking in without an appointment could be a challenge. Highly recommend!!!

The massage chairs are excellent and you get a hot towel shoulder massage while your toes are drying as well. What put it over the top was the care and expertise of my pedicurist. I had an ingrown toenail from a pedicure months ago that still bothered me occasionally, and I told my pedicurist about it, and she was able to fix it for me, no more pain! I don't live nearby but plan to visit the next time I'm there.

The salon itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I hope they add in the future is chrome finishes and cat-eye nail designs for manicures. Journey's is only 6 miles from where I live so I thought it would be ideal to go there. Although I was skeptical about going to someone without any recommendations, I decided to give it a try. I am so happy that I called and made the appointment. Cybyl is the best masseuse I've ever had. She listens to your concerns. She knows how to get the knots out without hurting. She asks if the pressure is too deep and adjusts according to your needs. She makes recommendations after the massage if for any reason you are sore. If they're behind when a customer walks in, they should acknowledge that they're behind and let the customer know that they're running 20 minutes behind 30 minutes behind whatever it is but they don't. Instead, you sit there and wait and wait. If you ask, they say only a couple more minutes. This business is mismanaged unfortunately there's not many places in the area to go to, but it's worth driving a few extra minutes to go someplace else rather than wasting my time sitting around waiting. If you plan to go here plan to spend at least an extra 30 minutes to an hour, no matter what time of day

We were promptly greeted by the receptionist and taken to the waiting area to fill out appropriate paperwork since it was our first time in. An employee showed us around the spa and explained all of the amenities they had to offer (for us to use). The masseuse was kind, and informative. Showering after the massage and facial was where it was at. The shower has the option for a rain shower which comes out of the shower head and the top of the ceiling and that's exactly what I needed. I would definitely hook another experience at Mount Airy!
