She asked a lot of questions which demonstrated that she was not only there for the task at hand, but was there for the wellbeing of my pet. While I was away, Tatiana text me to let me know she had arrived. She sent photos of my pet eating. She left all the supplies as organized as I had left them. Nora, whom we know from yoga-ing in Highland Park, came to our rescue... much to the cats' delight. We were gone for only three days, but on the two days and nights Nora came to visit, we received adorable text messages and photos from her and the cats. They were eating. They were lounging, they were enjoying the a/c in the fiery heat of late-summer Los Angeles. And then, to our wondrous surprise, on the last day, she sent pics of the cats OUTSIDE hanging in the driveway and the backyard. We wondered how on earth she would ever get them back in! But, cleverly, Nora closed off the gates to the driveway, and let our kitties play for awhile before dinnertime. When they heard the tinkling of fork on their wet food bowls, inside they came. Nora made it seem easy. In fact, she may do a better job of getting them back inside than we do. When we got home, the cats were happy, their bowls were clean, fresh water in their glasses, and the box was scooped. And on a tiny piece of paper, she wrote us a note, describing each day and evening she came to see the cats, and what happened. It was so rad! Nora, we'll be cat calling you again...
