I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

I imagined her making brownies, popcorn, having a BBQ and not turning off the grill afterwards. Carried away-then I remembered this is Molly, our favorite cat, and prepared to have someone else in our messy house. The manager "Mollie" was very organized. We, were very detailed. I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. Great communicators, responsible, and reliable, and awesome photographers. Thank you!

From the start, Patrick and his team went above and beyond to make our pup feel comfortable and cared for. I have an elderly Maltipoo named Topoli aged 15 years, and they are my trusted caretakers for him while I work as a field nurse full time/5 days a week. I have rarely sent Topoli to dog boarding since he was born since I take turns with my parents. But, they're off to a long retirement vacation this year and I was left with a dilemma for the first time on what to do with Topoli. He can't hold his pee/poo for too long nowadays because of his age and he likes to eat small meals X3 a day. Keeping him locked in my new house all day would stress him out or have him barking all day disturbing my housemates. At first, I thought of placing him with my vet's office for boarding. But, I noticed they kept him caged for long periods of time. And, he would return to me very anxious and stressed. At his advanced age, I really want to reduce ang unnecessary anxiety or stress on him. On recommendation of a friend, I tried St Tropawz and I am so so grateful to Patrick and his staff of caretakers. They have been trusted caretakers for my elderly Topoli. They are patient with his quirks of eating small meals and comforting him during his bouts of anxiety looking for me. They also allow him to regularly roam their very spacious and cute yard + play space. Although, at his age, he usually just likes to nap in his comfort kennel all day. They also provide me with regular updates on his day or any potential concerns. Again, I am so so grateful and relieved to have found this trusted place for my elderly Maltipoo for daily daycare. If you are looking for boarding or daycare for your dog, I would say that you can immediately stop scrolling and looking. Book now!

We needed a place where we can trust our skittish and anxious rescue dog with. We also wanted her to have more opportunities for healthy socialization. After looking up dog daycare in our area, we decided to check out OHD due to all the 5/5 reviews on Yelp. We first had a phone call where Janet explained their program. She then helped us schedule an intake evaluation appointment. We were honestly so nervous. But our little Bella passed the evaluation and was accepted to the transition daycare program! The transition program is designed to help dogs who need more support to transition into the group play area. Some dogs are immediately accepted into group play. Lisa and Janet knew exactly what Bella needed in order to successfully transition to being with a larger group of different personalities. They are extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior. What we appreciate about this daycare is not only the quality of program and the people who work here, but also their strict policies. Every dog has to pass their evaluation in order to be admitted to the daycare. They also require all dogs to be vaccinated, including annual canine influenza vaccine. Not only that, but dogs who were sick cannot come to daycare for 30 days to protect other dogs from getting sick (jussst in case!). The pricing is also reasonable compared to other daycares in the area. It's been about four months since Bella began attending OHD and we have only had positive experiences so far. We also noticed improvement in her behavior. She used to often bark at other dogs out of fear, but we rarely observe that now. She is so much more comfortable around other dogs. She also walks into the daycare by herself without having to be carried. Overall, we are so glad we found OHD for our Bella and we recommend it with 1000% confidence!
