I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

This review update is loooong overdue. We've been customers of Sitters4Paws for over 6 years now…read moreand they're just fantastic!! The sitters care for our fur babies so lovingly - we always travel with such peace of mind knowing our boys are looked after so well. They have an app now which makes communication even easier - they send emails/messages and many photos with every visit. The sitters follow any instructions very well - we used to have an elderly cat that needed medications and they took care of it no problems! Making reservations for visits in their app is so easy and they approve them very quickly or reach out if there are any issues or questions. They get very busy around major holidays but always make sure to give us a heads up before things get full - above and beyond! On our first visit, a manager came out to the house and met our pets and set us up with a very solid lock box for the house key that the sitters use to enter and exit. They check the mail and will water plants if needed too. They always give our boys so much love and treats and make sure they get some play time in every visit. They fill their food bowls, top off the water fountain, scoop the litter, and even sweep up! Great service! Their prices have gone up quite a bit since we first signed up - but what hasn't nowadays? Lol - their prices are comparable to other sitting companies locally and it's worth it for the peace of mind we get - huge ty to all our sitters and to Sitters4Paws for all your love and care!

But I was told by someone that Charlie's Pet world in Alhambra had what I needed, so I went there and it was awesome! They had everything from Feeder Rats/mice, to other cool animals and birds to chicken food that I have to drive all the way to El Monte to get. It's all here and Victor helped me with questions and there was only 15 minutes left till closing, but he said he would wait till I got there. Very helpful very hospitable and treated me like he knew me well! Thanks Victor! I will be bringing all my pet needs to your store now!

Never had a major accident here before but 2 months ago she had serious razor burns on both sides of her under arms & thigh. I didnt see this until i brought her home. I immediately brought this to the store's attention & my call was passed to the store owner & he talked a good talk on the phone. He told me he wanted to make things right & offered a huge discount on my next visit but cannot issue refund for this visit. He wouldn't say how much of a discount except that it is a huge discount & will apply to my next visit. Comes today when I bought my fur baby for a full grooming, I was only offered 15% off by Victor. He says that's the usual maximum discount for issues like razor burns. Continued to say that he can't offer more of a discount because he has to pay his groomer. How is that the customer's responsibility when it's their groomer whom caused my fur baby to suffer for those couple of weeks. This is our last visit here not because of the discount but the attitude i received from Victor. He acted as if he didn't care & spoke on behalf of the store owner. He didn't wantvto listen & told ne to leave because hes done talking & listen ing to me.

I have an elderly Maltipoo named Topoli aged 15 years, and they are my trusted caretakers for him while I work as a field nurse full time/5 days a week. I have rarely sent Topoli to dog boarding since he was born since I take turns with my parents. But, they're off to a long retirement vacation this year and I was left with a dilemma for the first time on what to do with Topoli. He can't hold his pee/poo for too long nowadays because of his age and he likes to eat small meals X3 a day. Keeping him locked in my new house all day would stress him out or have him barking all day disturbing my housemates. At first, I thought of placing him with my vet's office for boarding. But, I noticed they kept him caged for long periods of time. And, he would return to me very anxious and stressed. At his advanced age, I really want to reduce ang unnecessary anxiety or stress on him. On recommendation of a friend, I tried St Tropawz and I am so so grateful to Patrick and his staff of caretakers. They have been trusted caretakers for my elderly Topoli. They are patient with his quirks of eating small meals and comforting him during his bouts of anxiety looking for me. They also allow him to regularly roam their very spacious and cute yard + play space. Although, at his age, he usually just likes to nap in his comfort kennel all day. They also provide me with regular updates on his day or any potential concerns. Again, I am so so grateful and relieved to have found this trusted place for my elderly Maltipoo for daily daycare. If you are looking for boarding or daycare for your dog, I would say that you can immediately stop scrolling and looking. Book now!

We needed a place where we can trust our skittish and anxious rescue dog with. We also wanted her to have more opportunities for healthy socialization. After looking up dog daycare in our area, we decided to check out OHD due to all the 5/5 reviews on Yelp. We first had a phone call where Janet explained their program. She then helped us schedule an intake evaluation appointment. We were honestly so nervous. But our little Bella passed the evaluation and was accepted to the transition daycare program! The transition program is designed to help dogs who need more support to transition into the group play area. Some dogs are immediately accepted into group play. Lisa and Janet knew exactly what Bella needed in order to successfully transition to being with a larger group of different personalities. They are extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior. What we appreciate about this daycare is not only the quality of program and the people who work here, but also their strict policies. Every dog has to pass their evaluation in order to be admitted to the daycare. They also require all dogs to be vaccinated, including annual canine influenza vaccine. Not only that, but dogs who were sick cannot come to daycare for 30 days to protect other dogs from getting sick (jussst in case!). The pricing is also reasonable compared to other daycares in the area. It's been about four months since Bella began attending OHD and we have only had positive experiences so far. We also noticed improvement in her behavior. She used to often bark at other dogs out of fear, but we rarely observe that now. She is so much more comfortable around other dogs. She also walks into the daycare by herself without having to be carried. Overall, we are so glad we found OHD for our Bella and we recommend it with 1000% confidence!

First of all, it deserves to be mentioned. Secondly, it helps to create a fun and family-like environment which is what you want for your borky baby. May the Fourth (iykyk), Pride, Halloween, Día de los Muertos, Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, some things I'm probably/definitely missing, and Christmas...including red and green leashes hanging on the fence...the details!!! And options for birthday pawties for your pup if you so choose. Yes, charcuteries for dogs. Yes, you need that. And you get to watch it all unfold in painfully cute stories and posts on Instagram. Ok so onto the pup part. I went with a Pitbull who was so afraid of people she'd hide from them. Apparently that is a combination of things that can happen. Also very bad at hiding a 60lb body so just sad all around. She failed her initial evaluation and rightfully. Whoops. We worked on her confidence and her trust and then she did the transitional program and almost a year later remains a regular. It used to take her weeks (yup, I said weeks) to warm up to new people and now it takes about 30 mins. OHD helps give her structure, routine and boundaries that have taught her how to regulate her excitement with other dogs so much better than she did before. Because shy girl is also a crazy energetic girl. A real enigma. And wait there's more...I recently had a baby and everyone has been so kind, giving, flexible and understanding both with me and my pup. I drive from Pasadena to take my dog to OHD and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. They're the best. Down to the tiniest of details. Sorry OHD team if you now feel pressured to continue coordinating leash colors to holidays.
