At 3 days old, I had my son's lip and tongue tie lasered at Enclave Dental in Southlake. I could tell within a week that something still wasn't right, but Enclave Dental told me I had to wait four weeks before having the procedure redone. In the interim, I had mastitis twice and continued to experience significant pain while nursing. After waiting the suggested four weeks, I tried to make an appointment to redo the procedure at Enclave Dental, but there were no appointments for weeks and they were unable/unwilling to fit me in sooner. Desperate for relief, I called around the entire DFW area looking for someone who could fit me in sooner. Loveable Smiles was not only able to schedule the procedure for the same day I called, but they were significantly less expensive than anywhere else I called. As a point of reference, I paid $677 upfront for the tongue and lip laser at Enclave Dental and Loveable Smiles' price was only $375. Some of the other quotes I received were over $1000. Dr. Korenman did a fabulous job and the second revision was what ultimately fixed my nursing problems for good. It was clear from the first time I nursed the baby after the procedure that he had increased mobility with his tongue and his lip, but I can't say it was an immediate fix for the pain - it took about a week for the baby to relearn how to nurse and it took about 2 weeks after that for my nipples to fully heal. I'm just sharing that in case anyone else is doubting whether the revision actually improved anything for them. When you have severe damage going on, it can take a good bit for the wounds to heal. Ouch! Dr. Korenman and his office excelled at the follow up - they called the evening of the procedure to see how the baby was doing, saw us in office for a follow up visit, and then sent a thank you card a month or so later to let us know they appreciated our business. This was my 6th baby and because each one has arrived with a tongue and lip tie, Loveable Smiles was the 6th dentist I'd been to for this procedure. One downside, in comparison to the other dentists, is that the responsibility for filing the insurance claim fully rests on the patient. I've seen it done a few ways - some dentists will fully file for you and you only owe the coinsurance balance in office. Some dentists make you pay the full amount upfront, but file the insurance claim for you and reimburse you when the claim is approved. Enclave Dental in Southlake does not file the claim for you, but provides you with the completed ADA form and all required documents to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Loveable Smiles has you pay the full amount upfront and only provides the documents needed for the claim upon request. Because of this, and because health insurance companies are basically crooked and do their best to deny deny deny claims until you give up, it took multiple attempts for me to get the claim approved. In the end, persistence paid off and my insurance did reimburse me $300 of the $375 I paid. The insurance hassle aside, Loveable Smiles is my absolute favorite of the 6 dentists I've seen for infant tongue/lip tie laser. The office staff is so friendly and Dr. Korenman really seems to care. I wish we lived closer so I could use them as our regular family dentist! If you are experiencing problems breastfeeding and considering the tongue and/or lip tie laser, look no further. For the affordable cost and the outstanding service, Loveable Smiles is the place to go. read more

My 2 week old daughter had a lip and tongue tie, they showed me on my hand that it would be painless which helped ease my mind. My daughter barely even cried. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and also helped explain the procedure to me before it was done. It was very clean and the dental assistants were very nice as well. read more

Dr K and everyone that works there is so nice! Myself and my two kids changed over from another dentist. We love it at Loveable Smiles! They explain in very good detail everything that they are going to do with cleanings and with other things. My daughter had to have three baby teeth polled they made it comfortable and did not stress her at all. The Dr K. even called later that night to see that she was OK. I would give 5 stars for just the dentist and dental staff. They seemed to really know what they were doing and did a great job. Also, they took photos and modeled the before and after of Invisalign which no dentist has ever done before. I was always told I needed jaw surgery to fix some of these issues or they weren't even brought up, so I really appreciated this new non-invasive option being presented. However, I would give 1 star for the front office staff. I had a procedure done which they said may or not be covered by insurance. As such, they explained they don't file for it but let the patient handle it and bill an estimated amount upfront. I was completely fine with this and paid the $500 they estimated. Afterwards, I researched how to file and mail a claim and printed the applicable pages. One section of this was required to be filled out by the dentist office so I called and let them know I'd bring it by during the check-up to which they agreed. Well when I got there they said they had already filed the claim themselves with insurance the day I called them. Why they didn't let me know that same day, so I didn't waste my time and energy filling out the paperwork, don't know, but whatever not important. A few weeks after that, I got a refund check from them for $150. This included a snarky little note saying to please consider this a one-time favor only, as they had already explained to me before that they do NOT file for this procedure. This was a bit baffling to me as I had never once asked them to file with insurance but was completely willing to do it myself even though I had never done it before. However, per my insurance, since this was a covered procedure with an in-network dentist, I had only owed the dentist $50 total and insurance confirmed I should have actually gotten a check for $450 back from them if I paid $500 upfront, and therefore the dentist still owed me $300. I called up the front office to explain, and the lady at first did not agree I was owed anything additional back, but then finally agreed but calculated that they only owed me $150 more instead of $300 more. She was subtracting from the $500 the $50 I owed plus the $150 check twice (once for sending to me and once because I cashed it). We literally went back and forth on this for hours with her being so confidently incorrect in her calculation that she even briefly managed to convince me before I regained my senses and realized that's not how math works. Finally, after realizing it was hopeless to keep explaining, I got the brilliant idea of suggesting that she refund me the full $500 so it's like I never paid upfront at all, and then have them charge me $200 total (for the $50 I owe per insurance, plus the $150 check amount). To my utter amazement she was totally fine with that. And it was clear by her condescending tone that she thought she was doing me a favor since I was too stupid to understand her refund calculation. How a grown woman wasn't able to grasp that the math behind what I suggested (refund me full 500, charge me 200) was the exact same thing as just giving me the additional $300 refund I originally asked for just boggles my mind, and looking back is both really funny and really sad at the same time. So anyways after a few hours and a lot of frustration, I got all of what I was owed. I feel sad that I probably can't continue with this dentist as he and the dental staff seem really great, and I wanted to start Invisalign and keep going for future cleanings. But I think I'll smother myself with a pillow if I ever have to have another brain-dead conversation like that again with the front office staff in the future. read more

We saw Dr. Korenman after an impressive recommendation from a friend. The super friendly and patient staff at Loveable Smiles did not disappoint! We were first time patients and saw them to correct my three day old's lip and tongue ties. Also to check what we suspected was a tongue tie on my seven year old. My seven year old still had many speech issues after being seen by specialists and speech therapists. Dr. Korenman confirmed the tongue tie and was frustrated at what my daughter had been through that was unable to help when the solution (to laser the tie) was quite simple. My three day old was very tense, very gassy and unable to latch on well to eat. It was causing me great pain also. They very thoroughly explained the process of water laser and how it would affect each child. They were very patient and sweetly handled both my three day old and very nervous, shy, seven year old. She ended up having fun during most of the process. The water laser is amazing! Painless and only takes a couple of minutes. We felt like we were in great hands and that they genuinely cared for our family. Bonus: The cost was very very very low compared to what I am finding out others are being charged. We paid cash. If I could give zero stars I would. I had an awful experience at this office when my son was a newborn for his lip tie. the dentist's wife/front desk woman was rude beyond believe. my appt was at 11 for my son's lip tie. as I was pulling in she called me at 11:03 and asked if we were coming. I don't think I've ever had a doctor's office call about being late. I walk in, she's not wearing a mask and then she asked if I filled out paperwork online and said we needed to be quick because I was late. quick with what exactly... my sons procedure or the paperwork?? when they were done with my sons procedure and as he is crying and I am trying to console him they asked if I had facebook and asked to leave them a review. she then booked the two week check up and asked if this was a bad time for me since I was THREE minutes late. I didn't go back for his two week check up, I went somewhere else. I have been in the customer service industry for 20 years and you do not treat your customers this way. it took everything in me to not lose my mind on this woman. I felt so uneasy and uncomfortable being there and I wish I had walked out and they had not touched my son at all. here's the review you asked for! read more

I'm in process of having my son's wisdom teeth extracted through Dr. Korenman's office. The staff is genuinely friendly and the initial consult was tremendously in depth. He spent at least 30 minutes discussing not just the wisdom teeth, but other areas of potential future issues. I did not feel like it was a sales pitch at all, but an informative session with excellent images and an expert in an area in which I only have a basic knowledge. The funny thing is that the one thing I can tell my son does need in addition to the extraction is teeth whitening, but there was not mention of that! The icing on the cake so far has been this note received from his office: "I am so happy you are happy. Thank you for trusting us with your most prized possession. We will treasure him as you would. I had a filling, an OLD one (40 years old) and my tooth finally cracked in two. I'm the world's worst chicken when it comes to dentists. THE WORST. (If you look up "chicken" in the dictionary, you'll see my picture.) My son has been going to Dr. Kornman ever since he was little. I hadn't seen a dentist in about seven years, but I knew I HAD to do SOMETHING. I went in and they looked at my tooth and told me that it couldn't be saved. Dr. Kornman told me that it needed to go and that I had several options; an implant, or a bridge. He took the time to sit down and educate me on these options and I chose the implant. Fast forward to the day I had the extraction. They gave me two pills in order to relax me, and since I'm such a chicken, I also requested nitrous oxide. I went in, took the pills, got the gas and I was O-U-T. I felt no pain, no anxiety, nothing. They pulled the tooth, did a bone graft and placed the post for the implant. My husband took me home (I don't remember a thing) and put me to bed and I slept for about six hours. This was probably the most STRESS FREE experience I've ever had at a dentist. Dr. Kornman called me this morning to make sure I was okay, and I was! No pain, no tenderness, nothing! I highly recommend Dr. Kornman and his team. They are genuinely caring people. Ask them about their in-house insurance plan, it's better than most companies offer their employees. The office is beautiful and modern with the latest technology. Don't be a chicken, just GO! When I first started to go to Loveable Smiles it was of course because of a tooth ache. I have had severe anxiety and fear about seeing a dentist due to some very shady work done on my mouth. None of them made me feel stupid and they comforted me when I cried while explaining my previous experiences. I now go to my appointments happily. Davona knew my tricks to cancel because of my fear and she got my butt in there. Everyone there is super friendly and make me feel at home. He has never suggested anything that was not needed or anything I wasn't aware of. Cannot put a price tag on seeing me there with a smile instead of tears. I am now in the process with my Invisalign and couldn't be happier that I am finally taking care of an issue that should have been handled decades ago. Also in the whitening process and super excited about that. I think places like this are rare in dentistry and in physician offices. They also put up with me being chatty Patty when I called lol. Due to the pandemic sometimes that was the most human interaction I got. Anyways, you won't be disappointed with them. Never been in more friendly office before. read more

If I could give zero stars for this place, I would. We went here for my baby's tongue and lip tie revisions, which Lawrence Korenman inadequately and improperly performed. Lawrence is unskilled at this procedure and only in it for the money. Furthermore, he and his office staff are rude, impatient, and unprofessional. Cindy, his receptionist, told me during our check-out that I have a lisp and asked me to lift up my tongue so she could look for a tie. She then said that am tongue-tied, that they could fix it for me, and that is where my baby got it. Moreover, in the five minutes that Lawrence was with us, he asked me to write him a good review, tell all my friends about him, and told me to not worry about lower lip and buccal ties because "breastfeeding mothers writing on Facebook don't know what they are talking about" (thank you, man who has never breastfed). How inappropriate and narcissistic! When I confronted him on the poor job he did on my baby, he was incredibly defensive and even more rude and unprofessional. I highly recommend that people STAY AWAY from this practice- there are many, much better options in DFW! read more

All i can say is over the weekend my tooth needed a root canal. The staff got me in on Monday and due to my crazy schedule and the amount of pain I was in had me come in at 630am the next day for treatment. I have heard horror stories about root canals. Didn't hurt a bit. Not at all during the procedure. Dr told me I would be sore after but was able to address that. This place is WOW! Let's talk canker sores... if you have them, you know they are the WORST. I found out about a laser treatment that provides immediate relief but I could not find ANY dentist who offers this service... until today! The treatment was quick and painless but what I did not expect was the great level of service that Loveable Smiles provides as well! As a mom, as someone who seeks out quality care for a great price, and as someone who appreciates top notch customer care, I would highly highly recommend this office! I know this is cheesy, but Loveable Smiles Dental was surprisingly and refreshingly loving. I didn't think that having a team of compassionate people taking care of my teeth was that important, but when I had to bring in my 2 month old baby girl for a lip/tongue tie procedure and was treated with amazing care, I realized how wonderful that is! The nurses were so understanding of how nervous I was and so gentle with my daughter. The dentist was very thorough in explaining every detail of the procedure and demonstrating it for me so I could feel confident that I knew what was happening. No one was pushy or rude or rushed in any way whatsoever. Everyone on the team seems genuinely interested in making sure you have a nice experience. Even the ladies in reception were there to help with insurance claim filing! (P.S. The pricing at this office was very good compared to other places in the Dallas area). To say I have had bad experiences with dentists is an understatement. So, when I started to have some pain with my teeth I was in no way interested in finding a new dentist because I was quite certain it would just lead to another bad situation. My mom and sister had heard about Dr. K in a radio ad, but I had no interest in going. Finally, the pain became too unbearable so I made the call. From the moment I made that call, I knew this was going to be different. From my first appointment, I have always felt at ease in their office. I had a long road in front of me as far as work that needed to be done, but everything was explained from the beginning, put in priority order and taken at my pace. This *** made me lose my tooth. I needed a root canal and instead of referring me to an Endodontist like he should have (as I found out later), he went ahead and did it, because getting money from me was more important. A file got stuck in my tooth and it took him several separate visits before he could get it out. He put a temporary crown on that didn't stay on and caused significant pain. I got an abscess later and went to 2 other dentists who were very surprised by the X-rays saying he drilled way too far down and should have referred me to an Endodontist. End result was I had to get surgery to remove the tooth, and now I need an implant. STAY AWAY. If I could give zero stars on this I would. read more
